Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2015;(3):253-255,256
Objective To investigate the effects of rosiglitazone on proangiogenesis function of human umbilical vein endothelial cells ( HUVEC) in high glucose environment. Methods HUVECs were cultured in high glucose environment and stimulated by rosiglitazone. MTT, cell scratch test and Transwell assay were used to detect HUVEC proliferation and migration. The concentration of VEGF, SDF-1 was also detected in the supernatant. Results Rosiglitazone could effectively promote HUVEC proliferation and migration. The concentration of VEGF and SDF-1 in rosiglitazone stimulated supernatant was higher than that in high glucose group. The inhibition of AKT signal could block the promotion of rosiglitazone on the HUVEC proliferation, migration and secretion. Conclusion Rosiglitazone could significantly promote HUVEC secretion, proliferation and migration in high glucose environment. AKT signal played an important role in this process.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
Objective Recent researches show that bone sialoprotein is closely related with metastasis of breast cancer to bone. In order to investigate the effect of bone sialoprotein in the course of metastasis of breast cancer to bone, the following study was undertaken. Methods The growth curve, clone formation and adherence of breast cancer cells experiments were carried out to study the effect of hBSP over-expression on biological behaviors of breast cancer cells. Results It was found that breast cancer cells MDA-MB-231BO(pI) and MDA-MB-231BO(pID) stably transfected with hBSP cDNA were not inhibited through proliferation assay of breast cancer cells. The activity and tumorigenicity of breast cancer cells with hBSP over-expression were enhanced. Comprising with MDA-MB-231BO non-transfected the colony formation percentage of breast cancer cells MDA-MB-231BO(pI) and MDA-MB-231BO(pID) increased from 8.90%?0.53% to 15.6%?0.94% and 12.8%?0.77%. The OD_ 620 value of adherence of breast cancer cells MDA-MB-231BO(pI) and MDA-MB-231BO(pID)increased from 0.29?0.017 to 0.52?0.031 and 0.43?0.026 respectively in cells attachment assay, which suggested that over-expression of hBSP enhances breast cancer cell MDA-MB-231BO adherence and attachment property. Conclusion The study results suggested that hBSP over-expression had autocrine effect on breast cancer cells and could enhance the ability of breast cancer cells metastasizing to bone.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(22):18-21
Objective To analyze the factors influencing augmentation index (AI) by examining the AI changes in patients who received continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) therapy, and evaluate the artery elastic function situation. Methods The height, weight, blood pressure, blood indicators were detected in 46 CAPD patients (CAPD group) and 42 controls (control group). AI was managed by OMRON HEM-90OOAI, and the influencing factor was analyzed. Results Systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP), pulse pressure, central aortic pressure and AIp75 (AI value, when pulse was 75 beats/min) in CAPD group were significantly higher than those in control group. Within CAPD patients, the AIp75, in female was significantly higher than that in nude [(96.67±8.95 )% vs (89.89±6.46)% ,P =0.022]. Simple correlation showed positive relationship in gender, age, SBP, DBP, pulse pressure and central aortic pressure with AI; and negative relationship in height, weight and weight index with AI; while there was no relationship between AI and all kinds of chemical examination indicators or dialysis years.Multiple linear regression analysis evidenced that gender, age, height, DBP and central aortic pressure of CAPD patients had linear regression relation with AI. Conclusions It indicates a decreased artery elasticity and an increased stiffness occurs in CAPD patients. AI has tight correlation with age, height, DBP and central aortic pressure, and is an non-invasive factor thai partially reflects the arterial elasticity. Central aortic pressure is relevant with aortic elasticity and rigidity closely. Measuring central aortic pressure is very imporrant for preventing cardiovascular accident.
