Objective To investigate the effects of Tongmai Tang on the production of nitric oxide(NO) and the balance of fibrinolysis system in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) injured by oxidized low density lipoprotein(oxLDL). Methods The herbage-contained serum of Tongmai Tang and oxLDL were prepared, then the human HUVEC-304 cells were divided into 4 groups: ⑴control group; ⑵bovine serum control group; ⑶oxLDL group: 100mg/L oxLDL, and ⑷Tongmai Tang group: 5% herbage-contained serum of Tongmai Tang and 100mg/L oxLDL. After 24h incubation, the morphology of the endothelial cells was observed under the inversion microscope, while the concentrations of NO, t-PA and PAI-1 in the culture medium were measured. Results ⑴The endothelial cells in oxLDL group were seriously injured, while those in Tongmai Tang group got better; ⑵the concentrations of NO and t-PA in the oxLDL group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P

41 cases of infant thrush in observation group were treated by 10% rhubarb decoction wipe on the affected area followed by pow-dered “alum 3 +goldthread 2 +borneol 1”coating;41 cases in the control group were treated by 1% ~2% baking soda scrub on the affect-ed area followed by glycerol wipe containing 50 000 to 100 000 units/ml of nystatin. The efficiency was 95.12%(39 /41)and 75.61%(31 /41)in observation and control groups respectively(P <0.05).The external use of chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of in-fant thrush.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(2):174-177
OBJECTIVEThis study aims to determine the awareness oral medical interns about occupation safety protection of knowledge and to present a scientific basis for perfecting the occupation safety education system and standard protection behavior.
METHODSA self-designed questionnaire that used a retrospective questionnaire survey on 425 stomatological interns, scoring, and statistical analysis of the survey were performed. The questionnaire included occupation safety prevention knowledge, behavior cognitive, and protective behavior, among others.
RESULTSThe questionnaire recovery rate was 100%, and the average scores of the prevention knowledge and behavior cognitive were 4.55 ± 0.91 and 4.40 ± 1.05, respectively. More than 90% interns can conduct the conventional protection, and less than 40% can perform special protection. For the item "occupation safety protection knowledge", the scores of three grade III hospitals were higher than that of stomatological hospitals and second level of first-class hospitals; the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001). For the items "behavior cognition" and "protective behavior", the scores of the second level of first-class hospitals were lower than those of grade III hospitals and stomatolgical hospitals (P < 0.001). The second level of first-class hospitals was relatively poor in safety protection knowledge, behavioral cognitive, and protection behavior. The average score was higher for than for boys in the three contents, and the average score of interns accepting pre-job training was higher than those rejected; the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001).
CONCLUSIONThe occupation safety knowledge of oral medical interns is not sufficient, and the protective behavior is poor. Schools and hospitals should strengthen the intern occupation safety and protection education and improve the status of occupation safety behavior.

China Pharmacy 2015;(23):3297-3300
OBJECTIVE:To focus on the situation of clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consulta-tion in China. METHODS:With the keywords of“clinical pharmacists”,“consultation”and others, retrieved from China Hospital Knowledge Database (CHKD),Wanfang Database and China BioMedical Literature Service System (SinoMed),the situation of clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consultation in China was concluded and summarized. RESULTS:A total of 186 literatures were included, invloving 114 effective literatures. 2 606 cases were clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consultation,2 257 cases were all or part of adoption of clinical pharmacists’suggestions, the execution lev-el of clinicians for clinical pharmacists’consultation suggestions reached 93.02%. After carrying out the clinical pharmacists’con-sultation suggestions, patients’condition improved or cured reached 2 290 cases, with the effective rate of 94.47%. CONCLU-SIONS:Clinical pharmacists participating in the clinical consultation has certain function, however, the working method and mode need to be further explored and standarized.

Specific antibodies purified from sera of rabbit infected with Toxoplasma gondii were used to immun-oscreen the 12-mer and 7-mer phage random peptide libraries. By 3 rounds of screening, 70 clones were picked out ra-ndomly to test the specificity and 43 were found positive by ELISA. 23 of the 43 positive clones showing strong reaction in ELISA were picked out for sequencing. Clone A7 was selected as mimic antigen in ELISA test after analysis of the 23 short peptide sequences. 23 out of 47 sera from rabbits infected with Toxoplasma gondii were ELISA positive by A7 mimic antigen with a positive rate of 68.1%, and 10 of 155 sera from healthy persons showed false positive with a sp-ecificity of 93.5%. The primary result suggests that mimic antigen may have a potential use in diagnose of toxoplasmosis.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
Objective: To construct and identify a lentiviral vector harboring RNAi sequence targeting the human high mobility group A1(HMGA1) gene. Methods: The effective sequence of siRNA targeting the HMGA1 gene confirmed in our previous study, the complementary DNA containing both sense and antisense Oligo DNA of the targeting sequence was designed, synthesized and cloned into the pGCL-GFP vector diced by the restriction enzyme of HpaⅠ and XhoⅠ,which contained the U6 promoter and green fluorescent protein(GFP).The resulting lentiviral vector containing HMGA1 shRNA was named LV-sh HMGA1 and confirmed by PCR and DNA sequencing.A total of 293T cells were cotransfected with LV-sh HMGA1,pHelper 1.0 and pHelper 2.0.All the virus stocks were produced by Lipofectamine2000-mediated transfection. The titer of the virus was tested according to the expression level of GFP.Results: PCR analysis and DNA sequencing demonstrated that the RNAi sequence targeting the human HMGA1 gene was successfully inserted into the lentiviral vector. The titer of the recombinant lentiviral vector was 5?107 TU/ml.Conclusion: The successful construction of the lentiviral vector of HMGA1 has prepared the ground for further studies on the functions of the HMGA1 gene with the RNAi technique.
