1.Clinical Observation of Shexiang Baoxin Pills in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease Patients with Chronic Heart Failure and Ventricular Premature Beat

OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of Shexiang baoxin pills and Shensong yangsin capsules in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions. METHODS:129 patients with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions were randomly divided into blank group(n=43),ob-servation group(n=43)and control group(n=43). All groups received routine treatment as oxygen inhalation,diuretics. Control group additionally received Shensong yangsin capsules 4 pills for 3 times per day. Observation group additionally received Shexiang baoxin pills 2 pills for 3 times per day. Treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 3 months. Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were ob-served,and heart function,cardiovascular autonomic nervous function and vascular endothelial function were observed before and after treatment. RESULTS:Total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05). SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD,QTd was no statistical significance between control group and observation group(P>0.05). LVEF, NO of observation group were significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05),IVST,LVDd,LVPWT,ET of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05). But control group and observation group were better than the blank group,and no obvious adverse reaction. CONCLUSIONS:Shexiang baoxin pills is more effective than Shensong yangsin cap-sules in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions.
2.Clinical Observation of Mailuoning Injection in the Treatment of Acute Bronchial Asthma

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Mailuoning injection in the treatment of acute bronchial asthma. METHODS:92 patients with acute bronchial asthma were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Pa-tients in control groups were received routine treatment,including oxygen inhalation,glucocorticoid,β2 agonists,aminophylline and anti-infection,etc. Patients in observation group were added Mailuoning injection 20 ml adding into 5% glucose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection 500 ml by intravenous infusion,once a day,based on the treatment of control group. The course was 14 d. The clinical data was observed,including clinical efficacy,hemorheology indicators,pulmonary function,6-keto-PGF1αlevel and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment. RESULTS:The total effective rate in observation group was sig-nificantly higher than control group,with significant difference(P<0.05). After treatment,the hemorheology indicators,lung func-tion indicators and 6-keto-PGF1α level in 2 groups were significantly better than before,and observation group was better than con-trol group,with significant difference(P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions. CONCLUSIONS:Routine treatment combined with Mailuoning injection can effectively improve the efficacy of acute bronchial asthma with good safety.
3.Clinical Observation of Children Resuqing Oral Liquid Combined with Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium for Injection in the Treatment of Acute Suppurative Tonsillitis

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of Children resuqing oral lipid in the treatment of acute suppurative tonsillitis. METHODS:112 children with acute suppurative tonsillitis were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group was treated with Amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for injection 30 mg/kg,twice a day;based on the treat-ment of control group,observation group was treated with Children resuqing oral lipid,1/4-1/2 bag for <1 year old,1/2-1 bag for 1-3 year(s)old,1-1.5 bag(s)for 3-7 years old,1.5-2 bags for 7-12 years old,3-4 times a day. The treatment course was 5 d. The clinic data was observed,including clinical efficacy,average cooling time and throat disappear time,WBC,CRP level,and CD4+/CD3+,CD4+/CD8+and CD8+/CD3+in vivo before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions in 2 groups. RESULTS:The to-tal effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group,average cooling time and throat disappear time were significantly shorter than control group(P<0.05). After treatment,WBC and CRP level were significantly lower than before, and observation group was lower than control group;CD4+/CD3+ was significantly higher than before,and observation group was higher than control group;CD4+/CD8+in observation group was significantly higher than before and control group,CD8+/CD3+in con-trol group was significantly higher than before(P<0.05);however,there were no significant differences in the CD8+/CD3+ in obser-vation group before and after treatment,and incidence of adverse reactions between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on the treatment of Amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for injection,Children resuqing oral lipid has better efficacy and safety in the treatment of acute suppurative tonsillitis.

Cancer cachexia is a common syndrome in advanced cancer patients.It is the interactive re-sult between tissue of tumor and organism.Tissue of tumor affects organism by producing cytokines and special tumor agents,meanwhile the reaction of acute phase and aeuroendocrine reaction happen in all over the body.Age,physical activity level and abnormal metabolism of muscle protein of patients are also correlated to cancer cachexia.Now clinical strategy to cancer cachexia is to improve symptoms of patients,such as anorexia,and So on.Along with elucidating the nosogenesis of cancer cachexia,the research of drugs having identified targets becomes focus.

6.Effects of isoproterenol on myocardial fibrosis and related cytokines in rats

AIM:To study the effects of isoproterenol (Iso) on cardiac fibrosis and related cytokines in rats. METHODS:20 SD rats were divided into control and Iso group in random, with 10 rats each group. After injected Iso, cardiac histology was observed and cardiac function, collagen volume fraction (CVF), content of collagen protein and the concentrations of Angiotensin Ⅱ (Angll) and nitrogen monoxide (NO) were measured in the two groups. RESULTS:Compared with control group, microscopic examination showed that fibrosis increased in Iso group. Iso did decrease cardiac function and NO levels and increase CVF, content of collagen protein and AngII levels. Left ventricular pressure maximal rate of rise (+ dp/dt_(max)) and left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP) were not significantly different from that of control group. CONCLUSIONS:Iso can induce myocardial fibrosis and change levels of related cytokines in rats.
7.Analysis of clinical research literature about treated plague by using traditional Chinese medicine

Objective To analyze the problems of treating plague by TCM and find out the characteristics of clinical research of contemporary plague by the analysis of clinical research literature on the treatment of plague by TCM. Methods Differential treatment methods of one kind of plague in the literature as the main source of the data and the information that the pathogenesis-symptom-location of disease-nature of disease-prescriptions-drugs were taken to build the data base of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of certain kind of plague. Results Analyzed with literatures,the characteristics of plague clinical research showed: Different pathogenesis characteristics and evolution of plague were caused by diff① erent evils. ②Contemporary plague was named by western disease name. A new model which disease differentiation combined with syndrome differentiation has been formed. ③The diversification of administration promoted the treatment of emergent communicable disease with Chinese medicine. Conclusion The plague research lacked such research literature which could both reflect individualized diagnosis and embody the clinical rules. Traditional Chinese medicine theory could be researched and enriched by finding out the pathogenesis characteristics and evolution rule of the new plague and thus guide the clinical practice. It was effective to control and treat mergent communicable disease with TCM.
8.Effect of Wenyang-Yixin recipe on NF-κB signal transduction pathway of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats

Objective To investigate the influence of Wenyang-Yixin recipe(WYYXR) on NF-κB signal transduction pathway of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods 32 SD rats were divided into 4 groups randomly, sham-operated group, model group, western medicine control group and WYYXR group. Sham-operated group and model group were given physiological saline solution (10 ml/kg),estern medicine control group were treated with fluvastatin (4 mg/kg), and self-made Chinese herb was perfusedinto rats in WYYXR group (1 ml/100 g) each time, once a day, for successive three weeks before model making.The model of ischemia reperfusion of the myocardium was reproduced by ligation of left descending artery for 30 min followed by releasing the ligation for 2 hours in rats. NIK, IKKβ and IκBα protein expression of myocardial tissues in rats were detected by western blotting method. And the levels of NF-κBp65mRNA were determined with RT-PCR. Results Compared with model group, the expressions of NIK, IKKβ and NF-κBp65mRNA were lower, and the protein expression of IκBα was increased in WYYXR group, there were significant differences between the two groups (P=0.004> 0.003, 0.018, 0.004,P<0.05) . Conclusion The Wenyang Yixin Recipe can protect myocardium from MI/RI.

Objective To explore the influence from I Ching perception of febrile disease theory to the syndrome differentiation and treatment of Viral myocarditis.Methods Documentary study.Results The febrile disease theory gained certain reference from simple ontology and motion concept in ancient Chinese philosophy.VMC was caused by disorder of five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,transition from Kan diagram to Li diagram,together with the mixture of pathogenic qi.Treatment should mainly focus on eliminating pathogen and nourishing yin to coordinate water and fire,conforming to universe rules,and smoothing Qi to reduce blockage.Conclusion The cognitive perception,pathogenesis and treatment of febrile disease theory are all deeply influenced by I Ching.Therefore,the combination of I Ching and febrile disease theory in diagnosis and treatment of VCM will improve clinical effects,as well as featuring the cultural nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Objective To Explore the effect of Cassia Seed budding transforming organic vanadium. Methods Separate organic vanadium from inorganic vanadium in Cassia Seed sprouts by dislysis bag. The content of total vanadium and inorganic vanadium were determined by using the method of Graphite Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. The transformation efficiency of organic vanadium in the Cassia Seed spouts was calculated. Results The seed coat of Cassia Seed could accumulate massive inorganic vanadium existing in environment during the process of its natural growing period,but the transformation efficiency of organic vanadium mainly occurred inside seed coat of Cassia Seed. Condusion Cassia Seed budding is one pathway of the biologic organification of vanadium.
