1.A CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF 21 CASES OF SARCOMA OF THE BREAST
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(02):-
Two thousands six hundreds and forty-four patients of malignant tumors of the breast were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from 1956 to 1990. Twenty-one cases of them were diagnosed mammary sarcoma by pathology in 0. 8% in contcmporary malignant tumors of the breast. The axillary lymph nodes of 6 cases in this group are clinically enlarged in 28. 6%, all of them were proved benign through mieroscopie examination. The age of the patient of mammary sarcoma is younger than that of the patient of mammary careinoma in the group. The patient's age over forty-five years and more than one year course have a hetter prognosis. Mammary sarcoma metastasizes by blood stream or local infiltrate, rarely metastasizes to regional lymph nodes. Mammary sarcoma is treated by removal of the tumor and simple mastectomy. The value of radiotherapy will be futher explored by practice.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(26):3923-3928
BACKGROUND:64-slice CT reconstruction technique for tibial plateau fractures hasobtainedsatisfactory results. This technology can reconstruct three-dimensional fracture relations, provide more scientific positioning and navigation standards for physicians, and improve the clinical cure rate. However, in the clinic, navigation method of 64-slice CT reconstruction techniques for tibial plateau fractures lacks a unified standard. OBJECTIVE:To study the navigation method and effect of 64-slice CT reconstruction in tibial plateau fractures. METHODS:A total of 44 patients with tibial plateau fractures were enroled in this study, including 27 males and 17 females, at the age between 21 and 74 years old. These patients were randomly divided into two groups (n=22). The control group underwent navigation method according to physician’s experience. The test group underwent navigation method according to 64-slice spiral CT scan results. Healing time, ful weight-bearing time, knee motion rangeat1 year postoperatively, the recovery ofknee functionat1 year postoperatively and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) No significant differences in ful weight-bearing time and knee motion rangeat1 year postoperatively were detected between the two groups (P> 0.05). Healing time was significantly shorter in the test group than in the control group (P< 0.05). (2) The excelent and good rate of knee joint was 100% at 1 year postoperatively in the test group, which was significantly higher thanthe control group (81%) (P< 0.05). (3) The complication rate was significantly lower in the test group (8%) than in the control group (18%) (P< 0.05). (4) These results indicate that the effect of 64-slice CT reconstruction for navigation in tibial plateau fractures was ideal, could clearly simulate the pedicle screw fixation channel, visibly display anatomic characteristics of tibial plateau fractures, improve internal fixation accuracy, and improve repair effect.

4.Modernization Process on Chinese Herbs from Perspective of Systemic Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(8):1623-1627
The development of Chinese herbs in a modernized context has been an endeavor of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry for many years. Studies on active fractions and functional mechanism of Chinese herbs based on reductionism have been dominated for many years in modernization research of Chinese herbs, due to its multi-component and multi-targets nature. Fortunately, systemic theory of TCM is in a position to provide novel insights for Chinese herbs study. Based on systemic theory of TCM, this paper discussed the development of Chinese herbs combining with research ideas of“Chinese medicalization of western medicine” and“Chinese medicalization of chemicals”.
5.Role of EP_2 in synaptic transmission in dentate gyrus of hippocampus
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2010;31(1):59-62
Objective To evaluate the role of EP_2 in synaptic transmission in dentate gyrus of hippocampus. Methods Field excitatory post-synaptic potentials (fEPSP) were recorded at the perforated path-granule neurons in dentate gyrus in vitro. Results ① Butaprost, an agonist of EP_2, enhanced the synaptic transmission in dentate gyrus and decreased the paired-pulse ratio, and these effects were reversed by bath application of AH6809 (EP_2 antagonist). ② Application of Forskolin alone or with AH6809 elevated the slope of fEPSP. ③ The Butaprost-induced responses were mediated via PKA, ERK and IP_3 signal pathways. Conclusion Multiple signal pathways were involved in the EP_2 activation-mediated enhancement of synaptic transmission.
6.COX-2 modulates Δ~9-THC-induced inhibition of LTD in CA1 area
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2009;30(6):701-704
Objective To explore the role of cyclooxgense-2 (COX-2) in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-induced inhibition of long-term depression (LTD) in CA1 area in vitro. Methods The hippocampal slices were prepared at 24 h after intraperitoneal injection of Δ~9-THC (10 mg/kg) or COX-2 inhibitor NS398 (10 mg/kg). Field excitatory post-synaptic potentials (fEPSP) were recorded in the stratum radiatum of the CA1 area in vitro to observe the effect of NS398, a selective inhibitor of COX-2, on the THC-induced inhibition of LTD and THC's effect on membrane excitability in pyramidal neurons by using the whole-cell patch clamp technique. Results ① Low-frequency stimulation (1 Hz, 15 min) induced-LTD in CA1 area was significantly attenuated by Δ9-THC. ② Δ~9-THC did not affect the basal synaptic transmission and membrane excitability (including membrane resting potentials, input resistance and firing property). ③ THC-induced inhibition of LTD was reversed by NS398. ④ THC-induced inhibition of LTD was robustly impaired in COX-2 knockout mice. Conclusion THC-induced inhibition of LTD in CA1 area was mediated via COX-2.
7.Characteristics of the mental state in patients after acute stroke
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(9):180-181
BACKGROUND: In the past, much attention was paid mainly to the body symptoms like focal neurological impairment in stroke, but the accompanied psychological symptoms were ignored easily.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the psychosocial factor in acute cerebrovascular disease and the mental state after the attack.DESIGN: Observational case-control study based on patients and healthy people.SETTING: A neurology department in a university hospital.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 55 patients with stroke hospitalized in Neurology Department of Hospital Affiliated to Medical College of Shaoxing Art and Science College and 35 healthy people taking physical examination from January 2001 to December 2003 in the hospital as controls.METHODS: Patients with acute cerebrovascular disease certified by CT/MR and people in control group took symptoms checklist-90(SCL-90) test within a month after attack.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: SCL-90 scores of the two groups.RESULTS: The condition of mental state in patients with acute cerebrovascular disease was worse than that in control group( P < 0.01 ). There existed obvious physical and mental reaction. It was found in subsection analysis that the size and location of the focus had relationship with the degree of mental disorder after attack and it was easier to have mental disorder if the affection lied in left cerebral hemisphere.CONCLUSION: It is necessary to give psychological intervention in prevention and cure of acute cerebrovascular disease. Recognizing bad effect of stroke on psychoactivity may help to guide the treatment.
8.The effect of idazoxan on pancreatic ?-cells and its mechanism
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
AIM To investigate the effects of idazoxan on the viability and DNA integrity of clonal BRIN-BD11 cells. METHODS MTS reduction was used to check the viability of BRIN-BD11 cells. FACS cell cycle analysis was employed to determine the effects of idazoxan on DNA integrity of BRIN-BD11 cells. RESULTS ①Idazoxan markedly reduced the viability of BRIN-BD11 cells and resulted in DNA damage in time-and dose-dependent manner.②Genistein, 5-HT 1A antagonist NAN190 and PKG inhibitor-KT5823 had no protective effects against idazoxan-induced damage of BRIN-BD11 cells. CONCLUSION Idazoxan has cytotoxic effect and induces apoptosis of clonal pancreatic ?-cells.
9.Effect of Immunomodulators on experimental herpes simplex keratitis in mice
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(01):-
TP5 and CsA were injected-intraperitoneally into groups of experimental mice, and NS was used for the contral group. Herpes simplex keratitis models were made subsequently by inoculation of the virus on the cornea. On the 4~6th day after inoculation, slit lamp examination showed that the corneal epithelial and stromal lesions in the TP5 group were significantly more severe than those in the NS group, whereas the group of CsA manifested no such differences. Among the 3 groups of mice, no differences were evident in the formation of corneal neovascularization, which all peaked on the 8th day. The conjuctival and palpebral lesions in the TP5 and CsA groups were also more severe than in NS group. Therefore, immunomodulators should be clinically used with care in accordance with the morbid varieties and conditions.
10.Investigation of topical ofloxacin liposomes in the treatment of experimental pseudomonas keratoconjunctivitis in rabbits
Ophthalmology in China 1994;0(02):-
Pseudomonas aeruginosa was inoculated into corneal stroma of rabbits and the model of keratoconjunc tivitis was established. Empty liposomes were used in a control, group ofloxacin liposome and ofloxacin eyedrop groups as experimental ones. After treatment for six times conjunctival and corneal lesions were examinated. Swabs of conjunctival sac were cultured. Result: in conjunctiva, lesions in the two experimental groups were all significantly less than those in the control group on the 6th, 8th and 11th day. Lesions in the ofloxacin liposomes group were also significantly less than those in the ofloxacin eyedrop group on the6th day. In cornea, lesions in the ofloxacin liposomes group were significantly less than those in the control group on the 6 th, 8th and 11th day. Lesions in the ofloxacin eyedrop group were significantly less than those the control group on the 11th day. In the result of bacterium culture, the culture's positive rate of two experimental gronqs and control group had significant differences on the 6th day. On the 11th day, the positive rate the ofloxacin liposome groups and ofloxacin eyedrop groups increased, and in the ofloxaein liposomes group had a less increase. Conclusion: ofloxacin liposomes and ofloxacin eyedrops were effective in treatments of pseudomonas keratoconjuntivitis in the rabbit model, the effects of ofloxacin liposomes were better than that of ofloxacin eyedrops.
