1.Role of thyroid cancer-1 in tumorigenesis and progression
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(2):83-85
thyroid cancer(TC-1 ),a nuclear protein coded by TC-1,regulates the cell cycle, participates transcription and translation, and is correlated with the proliferation of normal and cancer cells.TC-1 participates in the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway which can promote the up-regulation of proto-oncogene.Hence it plays an important role in the malignant transformation and development of the tumors, such as thyroid cancer, gastric cancer and breast cancer. Therefore,as a potential tumor-associated protein,it's likely to be used for fundamental research and gene targeting therapy.

4.Applying internal limiting membrane peeling for vitreoretinal disorders to improve the surgical outcomes
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2016;32(5):464-467
The internal limiting membrane (ILM),composed of collagen fibers, glycosaminoglycans, laminin and fibronectin,is the basement membrane of the retinal Müller glia cells and serves as an interface between the vitreous and retina. The ILM is the structural interface between the vitreous and retina.ILM removal ensures separation of the posterior hyaloid from the macular surface, which can relieve macular traction and prevent postoperative epiretinal membrane formation. Thus, vitrectomy with ILM peeling has become an increasingly utilized and vital component in surgical intervention for various vitreoretinal disorders. However, many recent studies showed that ILM peeling is a procedure that can cause immediate traumatic effects and progressive modification on the underlying inner retinal layers. There were some surgical strategy (fovea-sparing ILM peeling or inverted internal limiting membrane flap technique,or Abrasion Technique). But some controversies exist, such as when ILM peeling is necessary, which adjuvant to use to perform the procedure, and what is the best technique to peel the ILM.A full assessment ILM structure and function and related factors of surgery is helpful to predict the anatomical and functional prognosis.
5.Recent advances in aetiology and molecular genetics of MALT lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(6):376-379
Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT} lymphoma is a low grade B-cell lymphoma arising from MALT of extra-nodal. A link of Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection with gastric MALT lymphoma was confirmed in the early years. Currently, growing evidence indicates that development of non-gastric MALT lymphoma is also associated with infections by microbial pathogens. t(l1;18)(q21;q21)、t(l;14)(p22;q32) and t (14;18)(q32;q21) are specifically associated with MALT lymphoma, which occur at variable incidences in MALT lymphoma of different sites. The oncogenic activity of these three chromosome translocations is linked by antigen receptor-mediated NF-κB activation. In addition, a number of novel genetic abnormalities have been recently identified in MALT lymphoma. The findings of these microbial pathogens and molecular genetics would be helpful in better understanding the pathogenesis of MALT lymphoma and also useful for the diagnosis at early stage and proper treatments of MALT lymphoma.
6.Antagonistic Effect of Compound Danshen Tablets on Nephrotoxicity Induced by Cyclosporine A
China Pharmacy 2007;0(32):-
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the antagonistic effect of Salvia miltiorrhiza on cyclosporine A (CsA)-induced chronic nephrotoxicity. METHODS: 54 patients underwent renal transplantation were divided into 3 groups according to dosage of salvia miltiorrhiza: CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group, CsA+loe-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group (trial group) and CsA control group (control group). Plasma concentration of CsA, serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (Bun), 24 h urines and 24 h urinary protein were recorded. The parameters of morphology and hemodynamics were compared among 3 groups. The differences of index among 3 groups were analyzed statistically. RESULTS: The level of Scr, Bun and 24 h urinary protein in CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group were decreased significantly while 24 h urines was increased, compared with other 2 groups. There was significant difference among 3 groups (P0.05). The intrarenal blood flow and renal arterial resistance index were increased significantly in CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group. CONCLUSION: High-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza combined with CsA can reduce the CsA-induced nephrotoxicity perfently.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
To investigate the changes in serum enzymes (ALP、LDH、CK) in dogs suffered from gunshot wounds in limbs in hot and humid environment, 12 dogs were divided into two groups randomly: hot and humid environment (HHE) group and normal environment (NE) group. The contents of ALP, LDH and CK in peripheral blood were assayed at 0h, 2h, 4h, 6h, 8h, 12h and 24h postinjury. The results showed that the contents of serum enzymes tended to rise after gunshot injuries, especially CK. The changes in the contents of serum enzymes in HHE group appeared earlier and more obviously than those in NE group. In conclusion, the contents of serum enzymes coincided with the severity of local tissue damage, and change in the content of CK was more sensitive after tissue injury. The results suggested that hot and humid environment would aggravate systemic reactions and tissue damage after gunshot injuries.
