Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2016;40(12):939-941
Objective]Summary of Professor Liu Hongqi in treating the spleen kidney two deficiency, deficiency of Qi and blood type, kidney deficiency and blood type of threatened abortion experience. [Method]Reading a lot of literatures, combined with the clinical common disease type, respectively, from the basic pathogenesis, basic treatment, and motion etc. summarize professor of treatment of this disease, and 1 case was attached.[Result]Professor Liu Hongqi believes that the clinical syndromes of this disease were spleen and kidney two empty, deficiency of Qi and blood and blood deficiency of the kidney, the incidence of kidney and spleen, closely related. Professor summed up the kidney and spleen during the long clinical course, Yiqi Yangxue Bushen tocolysis and clearing heat, cooling blood to stop bleeding method, were used on prescription Ma ginseng tocolysis particles, the Liangdi Antai Granuales added and subtracting tocolysis, collaborative western medicine, with emotion, achieved a significant effect. Case accurate, fully reflected the clinical experience of Professor Liu Hongqi in the treatment of threatened abortion. [Conclusion]Professor Liu Hongqi's superb skills, rigorous prescription testimonies, have unique insights for the treatment of this disease, the successful experience is worthy of clinical promotion.

AIM: To clarify the role of nitric oxide (NO) system in development of chronic hypoxic hypercapnic pulmonary hepertension. METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group and hypoxic hypercapnic group. NO content of plasma was determined, constitutive nitric oxide synthase (cNOS) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) were examined using the technique of immunohistochemistry, expression of cNOS mRNA and iNOS mRNA of arteriole were detected by in situ hybridization. RESULTS: Plasma NO concentration, cNOS activity and cNOS mRNA expression in arteriole of chronic hypoxic hypecapnic group were significantly lower than that of control group ( P

AIM: To investigate the expression of soluble guanylate cyclase protein and its mRNA in rat pulmonary artery after exposure to hypoxia and hypercapnia. METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly split into 4 group, which were hypoxic hypercapnic (HH 1 week, HH 2 weeks, HH 4 weeks) group and control group, to copy pulmonary hypertensive animal model. The expression of sGC? 1 and ? 1 subunits protein of medial and small pulmonary artery was performed by immunohistochemistry with a polycolonal antibody. In situ hybridization was performed on the rat lung tissue using sGC oligonuclear probe to assay the expression of sGC? 1 subunit mRNA. RESULTS: The sGC? 1 and ? 1 subunits protein and sGC? 1 subunit mRNA were faint staining in the pulmonary small and medium artery in HH1 week, HH 2 weeks and HH 4 weeks groups compared with control group (all P

Objective To analyze the perioperative clinical character of the severe neurological complications in intracranial aneurism treated with stent-assisted coiling(SAC). Methods 203 cases of intracranial aneurysms patients treated by SAC were enrolled retrospectively(ruptured aneurysm group 45 cases and un-ruptured,aneurysm group 158 cases)and the perioperative clinical character of the serious neurological complications(11 cases)was further analyzed. Results The total rate of serious neurological complication was 5. 4%,11 cases of patients with 13 aneurysms got 13 stents. In the ruptured aneurysm group, 5 cases(11. 1%)suffered severe neurological complications, including intraoperative bleeding in one case, postoperative stent-related ischemia in one case, both 2. 2% . Postoperative bleeding 2 cases(4. 4%),and one case of bleeding during anesthesia induced stage(2. 2%). In the unruptured aneurysm group, intraoperative bleeding in three cases, and postoperative stent-related ischemia in three cases, both 1. 9% . No bleeding case during anesthesia induced stage or postoperative period. Although active rescue treatments were performed, 8 patients eventually died, and the total mortality rate was 3. 9% . Conclusion Intracranial aneurysms patients following SAC treatment may suffer from bleeding, ischemia, severe neurological complications, severe disability, and even die. So,we have to strengthen perioperative management.

Objective To observe the effects of levodopa on verbal and spatial working memory in elderly patients with Parkinson's disease (PD).Methods The modified Smith working memory software were applied to study the verbal and spatial working memory in 32 PD patients before and 8 weeks after treatment with levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride tablets. The results of PD patients were compared with those in 32 normal controls matched for age,sex and education. Results The correct rates of phonological verbal and coordinate visuospatial working memory were significantly lower in the PD patients without treatment than in the normal controls (both P<0.01).The correct rates of semantic verbal and categorical visuospatial working memory had no significant differences between the PD patients without treatment and the normal controls (both P>0.05).The correct rates of phonological verbal working memory and coordinate visuospatial working memory were significantly higher in the PD patients after administration of levodopa and benserazide tablets than in PD patients without treatment [(88.6±6.5)% vs.(82.1 ± 6.6)%,(84.2±8.8)% vs.(75.2±8.9)%,respectively,both P<0.01],but there were no significant differences in the correct rates of semantic verbal working memory and categorical visuospatial working memory between the above two groups (both P>0.05).The correct rates of phonological verbal, semantic verbal, coordinate visuospatial and categorical visuospatial working memory were negatively correlated with the course of disease, and had no correlations with age and the degree of education. Conclusions Levodopa can improve the functions of phonological verbal working memory and the coordinate visuospatial working memory, but has no effect on the semantic verbal working memory and the categorical visuospatial working memory. It is postulated that dopamine replacement therapy may have double dissociable effects on the different working memories.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of decompression craniotomy for the treatment of patients with malignant cerebral venous thrombosis. Methods The clinical characteristics, treatment process and follow - up results of 9 patients with malignant cerebral venous thrombosis treated with decom-pression craniotomy in Beijing Xuanwu Hospital,Capital Medical University from February 2010 to August 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The preoperative Glasgow coma scale (GCS)score of 9 patients was < 9,7 survived and 2 died. The conditions of 6 patients (preoperative GCS 8 in 1 case, GCS 6 in 3cases,GCS 4 in 1case,and GCS3 in 1case)were improved in combination with other control intrac ranial pressure treatment after craniotomy decompression surgery. They recovered well (Glasgow outcome scale, GOS 4 -5). One patient (preoperative GCS 4)had severe disability (GOS 3)after procedure;1 (preoperative GCS 3)was in deep comatose state at the time of discharge and died of complications after 1 month;1 patient with bilateral mydriasis (GCS 5)was treated with craniotomy decompression, and his pupils did not return,he had circulatory failure, gave up the treatment, and died. All patients did not have the complications directly related to the surgery. Seven patients survived and continued to use warfarin anticoagulation therapy for at least 6 moths after discharge. The controlled international normalized ratio (INR)was 2 -3. They were followed up for 3 months to 5 years. The head MRI re-examination did not reveal the recurrence of venous sinus thrombosis. The modified Rankin scales (mRS)score was 0 to 2 in 6 cases after 3 months. The other one (preoperative GCS 4)had ipsilateral cerebral hemorrhage on surgical site at 4 months after discharge. He was improved after withdrawing anticoagulation and using conservative treatment for 20 d (mRS score 4). Conclusions For patients with malignant cerebral venous thrombosis, when the patients have acute cerebral hernia or hernia tendency, the emergency craniotomy decompression surgery may save lives and enable patients to achieve a better quality of life.
