1.Inhibitory and excitatory effects of sodium nitroprusside on supraoptic nucleus neurons in vitro

AimTo realize the regulatory actions of nitric oxide(NO) on supraoptic nucleus (SON) neurons by observing the effects of NO donor sodium nitroprusside(SNP) on SON neurons. Methods The cell electrophysioloical properties were obtained by the intracellular recording techniques from the SON neurons in adult rat hypothalamic slices. Results In 11 silent cells, superfusion of SNP(1 mmol · L-1) for 3~5 min resulted in the depolarization response with a decrease of membrane resistance and time constant(P<0.05) in 55% of cells, while hyperpolarization with an increase of membrane resistance in 45 % of neurons. In 73% of tested cells, SNP also decreased the amplitude, overshoot, firing frequency and slope of current-voltage curve, and increased the afterhyperpolarization of action potentials evoked by intracellular depolarizing current pulses(P <0.05).However, SNP enhanced the spontaneous firing in 67% of 6 tested cells with spontaneous activities. ConclusionSNP presents an inhibitory or excitatory effect on SON neurons in aneurontype-andfunctionalstate-dependent manner, which suggests that NO may exhibit adverse regulatory actions on SON neurons.

3.Epidemiological characteristics of occupational musculoskeletal disorders among nurses in three tertiary grade A hospitals

Objective To understand the prevalence condition of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in nurses,so as to supply scientific evidence for reducing and preventing nurses′occupational injuries.Methods 582 nurses from three level three class -A hospital in Wenzhou were investigated,which were selected by convenience sampling method.Results The prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders was 76.3%.The prevalence of low back pain was highest,which was 58.9%.Among the nurses who had lower back pain,in the past 1 year,43.4%of them had a total duration of illness more than 30 days,18.7% of them reduced daily activities time for more than 30 days,and 22.6% of them had received examination and treatment.The main factors which related to low back pain among nurses were age (OR =2.18,95% CI:1.36 -3.67 ),stoop time (OR =2.24,95% CI:1.08 ~4.36 ), occupational stress(OR =1.82,95%CI:1.14 ~2.89),work fatigue(OR =2.45,95%CI:1.27 ~3.15)and physical exercise(OR =0.63,95%CI:0.44 ~0.89).Conclusion The condition of occupational musculoskeletal disorders is serious,especially low back pain.Interventions related to influencing factors can be taken to reduce the incidence of low back pain.
4.Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Wangzaozi(Rabdosia amethystoides)

Three compounds were isolated from the leaves of Rabdosia amethystoides (Benth) C.Y.Wu et Hsuan. They were identified as Irabdosinaiol (Ⅰ), oleauolic acid (Ⅱ), ?-sitostcrol (Ⅲ) on the basis of chcmical reactions and spectral data. compounds Ⅰ and Ⅱ were isolated for the first time from this plant.
5.Significance of serum cystatin-C, β2-mierogiobulin and renal hemodynamic in diagnosis of Henoch-Schoenlein purpura nephritis

Objective To explore the changes and clinical significance of serum cystatin-C, β2- mieroglobulin (β2-MG) and renal hemodynamic in children with Henoch-Schoenlein purpura(HSP). Method Forty-six patients with HSP are in HSP group, 40 healthy children are in control group. Serum cystatin-C was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, β2-MG was detected by radioimmunoassay, renal hemodynamie was detected by colour Doppler ultrasound. Results Serum cystafin-C and β2-MG in HSP group [(3.96±1.52 ), (2.74±0.82)mg/L] were higher than those in control group [(1.67±0.61), (1.89±0.47)mg/L] (P<0.01). Frequenee spectra showed high velocity and resistance, and maximum crest flow rate[(1.068±0.348) m/s] and resistance index (0.894±0.125) in systolic phase of main renal arteries were obviously higher in HSP group than those in control group [(0.859±0.357) m/s and 0.726±0.078] (P<0.05). Conclusions The level of serum cystatin-C and the change of renal hemedynamie can act as the significant indicators of early diagnosis of HSP nephritis.
6.Clinical effect of thin-prep cell test and high-risk human papillomavirus in the diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasma and cervical carcinoma

ObjectiveTo study the clinical application value of screening cervical precancerous lesions of high risk human papillomavirus(HPV) testing combined with thin-prep cell test(TCT) in prevention of cervical intraepithelial neoplasma (CIN) and cervical carcinoma. MethodsSeven hundred and sixty-three women were screened by high risk HPV test, TCT and pathology test of biopsy more. The positive coincident rate with the pathology test positive rate during the three technologies was compared.ResultsHigh risk HPV positive was 287 cases, the rate of infection was 37.61%(287/763), and pathology test positive was 82 cases, the coincident rate of which was 28.57% ( 82/287 ) ; TCT positive was 78 cases, the rate of infection was 10.22% (78/763), and pathology test positive was 50 cases, the coincident rate of which was 64.10% (50/78) ; TCT + high risk HPV positive was 59 cases, pathology test positive was 47 cases, and the coincident rate of which was 79.66% (47/59). Among each coincident rate,the differences were statistically significant (P< 0.05). The positive rate of high risk HPV infection CIN I was 32.26%( 10/31 ),CIN Ⅱ 41.38% (12/29), CIN Ⅲ 93.55% (29/31), squamous carcinoma of the cervix 96.88% (31/32),respectively. ConclusionsThe positive rate of high risk HPV increases significantly with the grade of cervical precancerous lesions. It is of great significance to screen in the population for HPV and TCT in a regular time span,since it could not only decrease HPV infection rate and the incidence of cervical lesions,but also prevent the cervical cancer.
8.Application of the activity of quality control circle in the management of disinfection for laparoscopic instruments

Objective:To explore and analyze application of the activity of quality control circle (QCC) in the management of disinfection for laparoscopic instruments.Methods: 1000 non-disinfected laparoscopic instruments of operating room were randomly divided into control group (n=500) and observation group (n=500). The laparoscopic instruments of control group received routine disinfection while that of observation group was implemented activity of QCC during they received routine disinfection. The occurrence rate of damage for instruments and special small component, qualified rate of disinfection, occurrence rate of adverse event and the problem solving ability of paramedic were compared after all of laparoscopic instruments were disinfected.Results:After received the activity of QCC, the damage rate of instruments, miss rate of special small components, loose rate of packaging and error rate of relative record of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group (x2=52.31,x2=64.49,x2=34.51, x2=79.00;P<0.05), and the qualified rate of disinfection in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (x2=37.70,P<0.05). Besides, the occurrence rate of adverse event of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group (x2=1857.28,P<0.05).Conclusion:The activity of QCC is implemented in the management of disinfection for laparoscopic instruments can efficiently enhance the qualities of disinfection and care, and can enhance the working enthusiasm, responsibility and problem resolving ability of paramedic.

Objective To explore the oxidative damage and genotoxicity of organic chemical pollutants from running water and the source water in Baotou reach of the Yellow River to mice. Methods The Kunming mice were treated with the organic extract solutions of the Yellow River water and running water by gavage at different concentration,once a day and the activity of the superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in the liver and kidney and the rate of micronucleus were determined. Ebola virus(EBOV)and Marburg virus(MARV),belonging to the Filoviridae family,emerged four decades ago and caused severe viral hemorrhagic fever in human and other primates.As high as 50-90% mortality,filoviruses can cause significant threats to public health.However,so far no specific and efficient vaccine has been available,nor have other treatment methods proved to be effective.It is of great importance to detect these pathogens specific,rapidly and sensitively in order to control future filovirus outbreaks.Here,recent progresses in the development of detection and diagnosis methods for EBOV and MARV are summarized.
