1.Effects of file tip size on the accuracy of Root ZX apex locator in enlarged root canals: An in vitro study
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
Objective:To study the effects of file tip size on the accuracy of Root ZX apex locator during electronic measurements in enlarged root canals. Methods: Forty premolars mounted in 20 g/L agar were used.First, the canals were instrumented using size 15-40 K-files with a size 40 as the master apical file(MAF).Second, the canals were enlarged using 45-60 K-files with the step-back way and 60 K-file as the MAF.In each step, the length was measured with a Root ZX using small and large tip size files. Results: File tip size and the degree of root canals enlarged both had a significant influence on the measurement, the difference was 0.22 mm.Conclusion: The measured working length with smaller size files become shorter when the root canals are enlarged.A file size comparable to the root canals should be used with root length measurement before root canal fillings.
2.Preservation of teeth with chronic periapical diseases in leukemia patients before bone marrow transplantation
Journal of Practical Stomatology 1996;0(02):-
Objective:To evaluate the safety and feasibility of root canal therapy in leukemia patients before bone marrow transplantation.Methods:15 root canal therapy of teeth with chronic periapical diseases were performed in 15 patients with leukemia before bone marrow transplantation.Diameters of the shaded area of periapex were all less than 0.5 cm.The root canal therapy was done at appropriate time, restricted hemateikon(neutrophil counts range from 3.0?109/L ~10?109/L,platelet counts more than 50?109/L),all the teeth were done with root canal therapy according to the principle of root canal therapy. All the patients were monitored by return visit after transplantation. Results:It did not happen any odontogenous complication with 15 patients during the bone marrow transplantation period. The periapical diseases of 15 teeth have been well controlled after root canal therapy. Conclusion:Teeth with chronic periapical diseases of patients with leukemia before bone marrow transplantation can be preserved after adequate root canal therapy and the root canal therapy is safe.

6.Effects of CGRP on coronary hemodynamics following graded coronary stenosis
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
Intracoronary effects of calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) on coro-nary hemodynamics were observed in the normal and following different extent of coro-nary stenosis using graded coropary- stenosis modl in dogs. The results showed that CGRPincreased the coronary artery blood flow (CBF) and distant coronary blood prepsure (DCP),but decreased mean artery pressure (MAP), coronary vessels total resistance (R_T),large co-ronary vessels, resistance (R_L) and small coronary vessels resistance (R_s). Thirty minutesafter. coronary middle. stenosis, CGRP was given intracoronary, MAP had no significantchange, but CBF insreased and R_T R_L, R_s decreased, and which maintained for 30 min. 30min after coronary severe stenosis, CGRP increased CBF and MAP, but decreased DCP,R_T, R_L, R_S continuously. These results suggested that CGRP could ameliorate myocardialischemia through enlargement of coronary vessels and by increasing CBF.
7.Study on the supercritical CO_2 extraction of curcumolin Curcuma with uniform design and regression analysis
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(03):-
AIM: To optimize the extraction process for the active components in Curcuma by supercritical CO_2 as guided by the contents of curcumol in Curcuma. METHODS: Gas chromatography was used to determine the contents of curcumol in the extract.Uniform design and path analysis were used to optimize SFE process. RESULTS: The optimum process was established as following:20 MPa as extracting pressure,40℃ as extracting temperature,120 minutes as dynamic extracting time and 20 minutes as static extracting time,24 mL of 70% alcohol as modifier. The absolute error of the predicted value from the model was smaller than 0.6%. CONCLUSION: The regression model is very notable and reasonable and can forecast results precisely.
8.Application of acute normovolemic hemodilution combined with salvaged autotransfusion in surgical patients with ectopic pregnancy
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(11):1507-1509
Objective To explore the application value of acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH) combined with salvaged autotransfusion in surgical patients with ectopic pregnancy. Methods From Mar.2015 to Apr.2016,46 surgical patients with ectopic pregnancy, receiving ANH combined with salvaged autotransfusion, were enrolled as observation group, and 39 surgical patients with ectopic pregnancy, receiving allogeneic blood transfusion were enrolled as control group. The baseline data, including age, body mass index(BMI),preoperative hemoglobin(Hb),abdominal pain time and menopause time were collected. The amounts of blood loss and blood transfusion were recorded.Preoperative and postoperative levels of white blood cells(WBC),C-reaction group(CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) were detected. Results The baseline data, including age,BMI,preoperative Hb,abdominal pain time and menopause time of the two groups were without statistical difference(P>0.05).The preoperative preexisting blood volume was (559±128)mL and the intraoperative blood collection was(510±103)mL in observation group. The cases and volume of banked blood infusion in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Preoperative levels of CRP,ESR and WBC of the two groups were not statistical different(P>0.05).The levels of CRP and ESR at the postoperative 1st,3rd and 5th day and WBC levels at the postoperative 1st and 3rd day were higher than those before operation in the two groups(P<0.05).The levels of CRP and ESR at the postoperative 1st,3rd and 5th day in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion (Department of Gynaecology, the Fourth People's Hospital of Langfang City,Langfang,Hebei 065700,China)
9.Clinical Analysis on Syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vertigo
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(10):-
Objective To explore the characteristics of TCM syndrome of vertigo. Method Patients of vertigo need to fill a form about the symptoms of TCM, and then analyze the frequence and percentage of the symptoms and the syndromes with SPSS software. Result Except vertigo or dizziness, the common accompanied symptoms were distractedness, feeling thirsty, tinnitus, poor memory, afraid of cold and vomiting, etc. There were 26 syndromes, and the top 5 of which are yin-deficiency of liver and kidney, wind stirring, phlegm blocking, qi-deficiency of spleen and blocking qi of liver. Conclusion The characteristics of syndrome of these patients of vertigo were same as the theory of TCM. The better way to find the characteristics of syndrome of vertigo still need to be explored.
10.Application of palliative care led by oncology professional nurses in the elderly patients with late tumor
Modern Clinical Nursing 2017;16(7):21-25
Objective To explore the effect of palliative care led by oncology professional nurses in the elderly patients with late tumor. Methods Ninety patients who were diagnosed with late tumor were randomly divided into control group and intervention group. Routine nursing care was conducted in the control group and in the intervention group, palliative care lead by professional nurses was conducted besides the routine nursing care for 8 weeks. The two groups were compared in view of life, symptom distress, and self-efficacy intervention effect. Result The quality of life and self-efficacy were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05) and the symptom distress was significantly lower than that of the control group eight weeks after the intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion The multi-disciplinary intervention led by the oncology professional nurses can improve the quality of life and self-efficacy of the patient and improve the symptoms of the patient.
