Many tumorigenesis in human are closely linked to the functional loss of P53. The tumor-suppressive functions of P53 are abrogated by mutations, but in 50% of all tumors it remains wild type. In these cases, loss of P53 tumor-suppressive function mainly results from the abnormal methylation of 5' CpG islands of tumor suppressor genes such as INK4a, ARF and ASPP. Restoring to normal methylation state of these genes might provide a new strategy for tumor therapy.

Objective To measure core competence of nurses by expert investigation in order to set nursing undergraduate core curriculums which matches nurse core competence.Methods 162 experts were followed with questionnaire survey and data were analyzed using cluster sampling method.Results Experts suggested that 18 core curriculums played an important role in raising nurse core competence.Conclusions Expert opinions about raising nurse core competence and offering nursing undergraduate core curriculum are intensive,study results are credible extremely,and the study offers objective evidence for making the civil standards of undergraduate nursing education.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of CT for the vegetable stone disease in the stomach,esophagus and small intestine.Methods The clinical data and CT findings of 27 cases confirmed by endoscopy or surgery were analyzed retrospectively. Among 27 cases,6 cases performed contrast-enhanced scan.Results Among 27 cases,18 cases were the gastrolithiasis,6 cases were the intestinal stone disease,1 case was the esophagus stone disease,and 2 cases were the multiple stones of stomach and small intestine.CT missed 7 cases and misdiagnosed 1 case with the rate of missed diagnosis was 25.93%.The lesions were cylindrical or oval shape with mixed density in 27 cases,distinct boundary in 26 cases,sclerotic margin in 22 cases,ethmoid or honeycomb bub-bles in the lesion in 25 cases,no enhancement in 6 cases,and complicated small bowel obstruction in 8 cases on CT images.Conclu-sion The phytobezoars in the stomach,esophagus and small intestine have typical CT findings.Careful analyses can improve its di-agnostic accuracy.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on the liver of hepatic arterial chemoembolization.Methods 68 patients with hepatic arterial chemoembolization were selected as research subjects,they were divided into magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group and control group.All patients were routinely given hepatoprotective drug treatment from seven days before surgery until three days after surgery,magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group was given magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate treatment on the basis of hepatoprotective treatment. Detected and compared the alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,total bilirubin,total protein,albumin and cholinesterase levels before and after liver cancer before and after surgery.Results The alanine aminotrans-ferase,aspartate aminotransferase levels at 3 days after surgery[(60.2 ±25.8)and (71.5 ±29.6)IU /L]were higher than before surgery in the control group[(34.7 ±18.6)and (49.5 ±20.4)IU /L](t =7.264 and 5.974,all P <0.05).The alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase levels at 3 days after surgery had no differences with before surgery in the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group (P >0.05).The alanine aminotransferase,aspartate amin-otransferase and total bilirubin levels before surgery in magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group had no differences with the control group (P >0.05).The alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase levels at 3 days after surgery in the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group[(44.8 ±22.8)and (57.3 ±24.8)IU /L]were higher than those in the control group[(60.2 ±25.8)and (71.5 ±29.6)IU /L](t =6.385 and 7.358,all P <0.05).The albumin and cholinesterase levels at 3 days after surgery in the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group and the control group[(28.4 ± 4.7)g/L,(8.0 ±4.8)kU /L and (29.3 ±3.5)g/L,(6.9 ±4.3)kU /L]were lower than before surgery[(34.2 ± 4.3)g/L,(9.3 ±5.4)kU /L and (33.7 ±3.9)g/L,(9.0 ±5.8)kU /L](t =11.834,6.247 and 10.276,8.743,all P <0.05).The albumin and cholinesterase levels before surgery in the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group had no differences with the control group (P >0.05).The albumin and cholinesterase levels at 3 days after surgery in the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group[(28.4 ±4.7)g/L,(8.0 ±4.8)kU /L]were lower than those of control group [(29.3 ±3.5 )g/L,(6.9 ±4.3)kU /L](t =8.436 and 6.947,all P <0.05 ).The incidence rates of adverse reactions of the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate group (upper abdominal pain incidence rate was 35.3%,fever incidence rate was 29.4%,nausea and vomiting incidence rate was 52.9%)were lower than those of the control group(55.9%,88.2%,76.5%)(χ2 =7.246,6.472,6.274,all P <0.05).Conclusion Hepatic arterial chemoem-bolization has some damage to liver function of liver cancer patients.Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate can reduce liver damage,improve liver synthetic function,and has a protective effect on liver.

Enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) causes hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) and various neurological complications, including aseptic meningitis and neurogenic pulmonary edema in young children. HFMD caused by EV-A71 have broken out several times in the Asia-Pacific region since 2007. And it has been a serious threat to public health. There is no effective vaccine or antiviral drug. The pathogenesis of EV-A71 infection is unknown, and EV-A71 3C protein plays an irreplaceable role in replication and anti - innate immunity. Further research on EV-A71 3C protein is conducive to understand the pathogenesis of EV-A71 infection and antiviral drug.

Objective To study effects of 1 800 MHz electromagnetic field exposure in pregnancy on the ultrastructure of the hippocampus of offspring rats. Methods Ninety Wistar rats(female and male was 2:1) were mated,and the pregnant rats were exposed to 1 800 MHz microwave field with power density of 0.5 mW/cm2 or 1.0 mW /cm2,12 h/d,for 21 consecutive days,the rats in the control group received dummy exposure. Three rats aged 3 days and 72 days were selected from groups for ultrastructure observation of hippocampus. Results No significant pathological changes were observed in nerve cells and capillary vessels in the hippocampus. Conclusion The results of the present paper indicate that pregnancy exposure to 1 800 MHz electromagnetic field,may not lead to abnormal ultrastructure changes in hippocampus of offspring rats

Objective To investigate the effects of ZEB1 (Zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1) gene knockdown on proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hADSCs).Methods Primary mesenchymal stem cells were obtained from human adipose tissue by collagenase digestion and identified by immunological phenotype and differentiation potential of osteogenic and adipogenic lineages .The siRNA was trans-fected into hADSCs by lipofectamine 2000 .The expression of ZEB 1 and key proliferation , cell cycle and apoptosis-related genes were detected by real-time PCR and Western blot at mRNA and protein level respectively .The cell proliferation capacity was assessed by MTS .The apoptosis and cell cycle of hADSCs were evaluated by flow cytome-try.Results The ZEB1 expression at mRNA and protein level was significantly decreased in si-ZEB1 transfection cells as compared to transfection with si-NC.Inhibition of ZEB1 decreased the cell proliferation ability , and signifi-cantly inhibited the expression of cell proliferation related genes, including CCND1, MKI67, MYC and PCNA.After transfection with si-ZEB1 , the percentage of cells in G1 phase increased from 50.17% to 58.94%, and S phase and G2 phase decreased by 6.16% and 2.07% separately.Meanwhile, the apoptosis rate increased by 10.2%, the expression of apoptosis related genes TP53 and BAX was up-regulated , and the expression of anti-ap-optotic genes MCL1 and BCL2 was down-regulated in si-ZEB1 transfection cells as compared to transfection with si-NC.Conclusions ZEB1 may play an important role in promoting hADSCs proliferation , cell cycle progression and inhibit their apoptosis .

Objective Toinvestigate the relationship between red blood cell volume distribution width (RDW) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS),and the correlation between RDW and degree of coronary artery stenosis. Methods A total of 221patients accepting coronary angiography were involved as ACS group and another 50 patients also accepting coronary angiography as normal control group. ACS group wasfurther divided into unstable angina (UA) group of 77 cases and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) group of 144 cases ,then their level of RDW was detected. According to Gensini score ,we divided the 221 positive cases of coronary angiography into ≤ 30 point group ,31-60 point group and > 60 point group and their level of RDW was detected. Results The level of RDW in ACS group(13.02 ± 0.68)was significantly higher than that innormal control group(12.62 ± 0.38),and the difference was statisticallysignificant(P < 0.05). And the difference between UA group(12.84 ± 0.68)and AMI group(13.12 ± 0.66)also showed statistical significance(P < 0.05). With the increase of Gensini score ,the level of RDW was also increased ,and the difference between each two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05) except that between control group and ≤ 30 point group. Conclusions The level of RDW in ACS group and AMI group is significantly higher ,suggesting that RDW may be involved in the pathogenesis of acute coronary syndrome ,and the RDW level could be a potential indicator of ACS. RDW level is closely related to the severity of coronary stenosis and could be one of its predictors.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) with flexible bone cement injector through unilateral puncture. Method Unilateral puncture line PVP treatment for thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture was conducted in 78 patients, which was divided into observation group and control group according to the use of different equipment. The flexible bone cement injector was used in 36 cases of observation group, which injected the bone cement into three places at the vertebral body. The ordinary straight bone cement injector was applied in the 42 cases of the control group. The operation time, the time of radiation exposure, and the amount of bone cement injection were recorded, and the leakage of bone cement was observed. The visual analogue scale (VAS), relative vertebral height and Cobb angle were recorded at 1 week, 1 and 2 years follow-up. The time of operation, the time of radiation exposure, the amount of bone cement injection, the incidence of bone cement leakage, VAS, relative height of vertebral body and Cobb angle were compared between the two groups using independent samples t test orχ2 test. Result All patients in the two groups were successfully treated by surgery. There were no significant differences between the observation group and the control group in the operation time and the time of radiation exposure and the incidence of bone cement leakage (P>0.05). The injection amounts of bone cement in the observation group and the control group were (5.6 ± 0.7) and (3.2 ± 0.6) ml, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in VAS score, relative vertebral height and Cobb angle between the two groups at 1 week after operation (P>0.05). At 1 year and 2 years after operation, the differences of the above indexes between the two groups were significantly different (P<0.05), with the observation group being superior to the control group. Conclusions Application of flexible bone cement injector for PVP operation is safe and feasible. Compared with the traditional straight bone cement injector, the use of flexible bone cement injector will not increase the operation time, radiation exposure time and the incidence of bone cement leakage but will improve the long-term effect.
