1.Inhibitory Effect of Danggui Decoction on Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis in Mice

【Objective】To explore the mechanism of Danggui Decoction (DD) in counteracting allergic reaction bymeans of passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PGA) test.【Methods】Among fifty NEH mice, ten were used to prepareantiserum and the rest forty were randomized into 4 groups: normal control group (A), clarityne group (B), low-doseDD group (C) and high-dose DD group (D) . PGA was induced by intraperitoneal injection of antiserum in the fourgroups and the mice were treated with gastric infusion simultaneously. After the last feeding, antigen attack wasconducted. Inhibitory rate of PCA in four groups were measured by colorimetric analysis after treatment. 【Results】High-and low-dose DD and clarityne could inhibit PCA in mice (P0.05).【Conclusion】The anti-allergic effect of DD may be associated with the inhibition of type Ⅰ allergic reaction.
2.One case of systemic mastocytosis with associated clonal hematological non-mast-cell lineage disease and literatures revivew

Objective To improve the understanding of systemic mastocytosis(SM) with associated clonal haematological non-mast-cell lineage disease (SM-AHNMD). Methods The clinical and laboratory features, treatment and prognosis of a rare case of SM-AHNMD was reported and the related literatures were reviewed. Results As the second most common subtype of SM, SM-AHNMD mainly has multifocal dense infiltrates of mast cells detected in sections of bone marrow and/or other extracutaneous organs, and some special cytology or biochemical markers(toluidine blue staining,tryptase,CD117,CD25 and/or CD2) results are positive. C-kit mutations are found in most adult patients. SM-AHNMD also has clinical characters of other clonal haematological non-mast-cell lineage disease (HNMD), such as myelodysplastic syndrome,myeloproliferative neoplasms, acute myeloid leukemia. Conclusion SM-AHNMD meets criteria for SM and other HNMD. Treatment for SM-AHNMD is mainly about the therapy of HNMD, and the prognosis greatly depends on the accompanying hematological disorder.There is no special treatment for SM,and the treatment should be directed at symptomatic control.
3.Progress of pathophysiological mechanism of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 in treating pulmonary arterial ;hypertension

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is an incurable fatal disease, with the mechanism of imbalance of vascular contraction and relaxation which start as a series of pathophysiological reactions. Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2-angiotensin (1-7)-G protein-coupled receptor axis [ACE2-Ang(1-7)-Mas], an expanded vascular axis which is considered as new axis of renin-angiotensin system (RAS) is a negative regulator of the classical angiotensin-converting enzyme-angiotensin Ⅱ-angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor axis (ACE-AngⅡ-AT1R), a contraction vessel, proliferation axis. A retrospective study concerning the pathophysiological mechanism of ACE2 in the treatment of PAH was done and found that ACE2-Ang-(1-7)-Mas axis could reduce PAH induced by monocrotaline (MCT) through declining the inflammatory cascade, improving endothelial dysfunction and regulating autonomic nerve, reduce PAH induced by hypoxia through inhibiting the proliferation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells and reduce PAH induced by congenital heart disease. Therefore, ACE2 may become a future drug of preventing and treating PAH.
4.Study on Anti-hepatic Fibrosis Effects of Yidu Tiaogan Mixture on Rats and Its Mechanism

OBJECTIVE:To study the anti-hepatic fibrosis effects of Yidu tiaogan mixture on rats and its mechanism. METH-ODS:60 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group,model group,colchicine group(positive control,0.2 mg/kg)and Yi-du tiaogan mixture low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose groups(2.7,5.4,10.8 mL/kg). Except for normal group,liver fibrosis model was induced in other groups,and they were given relevant medicine intragastrically during modeling,once a day,for 8 weeks. Serum levels of ALT,AST,HA,PCⅢ,CⅣ,TIMP-1,MMP-1,MMP-2,MMP-13,TGF-β1 and TNF-α and the levels of Hyp,SOD,GSH-Px,CAT,MDA,TGF-β1 and TNF-α in liver tissue were detected in rats. RESULTS:Compared with normal group,the serum levels of ALT,AST,HA,PCⅢ,CⅣ,TIMP-1,MMP-2,TGF-β1 and TNF-α were increased significantly in model group,while the serum levels of MMP-1 and MMP-13 were decreased significantly(P<0.05);the levels of Hyp,TGF-β1, TNF-α and MDA in liver tissue were increased significantly,while the levels of SOD,GSH-Px and CAT were decreased signifi-cantly(P<0.05). Compared with model group,the serum levels of ALT,AST,HA,PCⅢ,CⅣ,TIMP-1 and TNF-α as well as the levels of Hyp,TGF-β1,TNF-α and MDA in liver tissue were all decreased significantly of rats in Yidu tiaogan mixture medi-um-dose,high-dose and colchicine groups(P<0.05);the serum levels of MMP-1 and MMP-13 as well as the level of CAT in liver tissue were increased significantly in Yidu tiaogan mixture high-dose group and colchicine group(P<0.05),while the serum levels of MMP-2 and TGF-β1 were decreased significantly(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in above indexes in Yidu tiao-gan mixture low-dose group (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Yidu tiaogan mixture exerts protective effects on liver fibrosis of rat through regulating TIMP/MMP balance,suppressing oxidative stress,decreasing the level of TGF-β1 and reducing deposition of ex-tracellular matrix in liver.
5.Investigation and Analysis of General Situation of Pharmacy Department in 35 Hospitals of South Sichuan

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for development of hospital pharmacy and clinical pharmacy in south Sichuan. METHODS:Questionnaire was used to investigate the general situation of secondary and tertiary hospitals in 4 cities of south Sich-uan in aspects of partition layout,staffing situation and job content. The results were statistically analyzed. RESULTS:A total of 40 questionnaires was sent out,35 were effectively received with the effective rate of 87.50%. The partition layout was unreasonable in most surveyed hospitals,and the rate of reaching the standard about the area of drug dispensing sector and warehouse was below 85%. There were 1042 pharmacists in 35 hospitals,which were mainly female of younger than 45 years old. In secondary and ter-tiary hospitals,the rate of pharmaceutical professional and technical personnel of health technology,full-time undergraduate and vice-high above title accounted for 4.78% and 3.67%,17.37% and 31.27%,3.15% and 10.73%,respectively. The number of full-time clinical pharmacists was 24 and 69 in secondary or tertiary hospitals,mainly primary title,middle title and undergradu-ate,of whom 26(27.96%)passed job training of National Health and Family Planning Commission,4(4.30%)passed teaching qualifications training. The rate of pharmacists mainly engaged in drug dispensing and clinical pharmacy was 6.32% and 11.03% in secondary and tertiary hospitals,respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The research shows irrationality of partition layout,the shortage of highly educated and highly titles personnel,especially the clinical pharmacy professionals. The large differences exist in hospitals of different levels in several aspects,and the main body of hospital pharmacy should turn to clinical pharmacy.

8.The protective effect of shenmaisanjie capsule combined with methimazole on L-thyroxine-induced hyper-thyroid hepatic damage in rats

Objective To explore the protective effects and mechanism of shenmaisanjie capsule(SMSJC) combined with methimazole on the L?thyroxine? induced hyperthyroid hepatic damage in rats. Methods so rats were divided into 5 groups randomly as normal group,model group,SMSJC group(0.48 g/kg),methimazole group (12 mg/kg)and combination group. With the exception of the normal group ,all rats were administered L?thyroxine (800 μg/kg ,ig) daily for 6 weeks. Rats were sacrificed. Blood and liver samples were collected for detecting thyroid and liver function , histological analysis and hepatic activity of SOD , GSH?Px and MDA content. Results The levels of T3,T4,FT3,FT4,ALT,AST,ALP,TBIL in serum and hepatic MDA content declined significantly. Hepatic activity of SOD ,GSH?Px increased obviously. Liver morphologic changes improved in methimazole group and combination group,whereas no significant difference of serum FT3,FT4,TSH level and liver activities of SOD and GSH?Px was noticed in SMSJC group in comparison to model group. Compared with SMSJC or methimazole mono?therapy ,the effect of combination therapy was obvious. However ,serum TRAb level was not significantly different in five groups of rats. Conclusion SMSJC combined with methimazole plays a protective role on hyperthyroidism hepatic damage induced by L?thyroxine in rat. It is proposed that the effect is association with inhibiting hepatic oxidative stress.
9.The HRCT Scan of Normal Middle-inner Ear

Objective To study the scan technique that can completely demonstrate the structures of middle-inner ear.Methods Ninety volunteers underwent 30° axial and 105° coronal HRCT scan.The manifestations of the ministructures of middle-inner ear were observed and their demonstration rate was calculated.The demonstration of different structures of middle-inner ear was evaluated and compared on HRCT.Results (1)The scan planes of 30° axial and 105° coronal were correspondent to some structures of middle-inner ear and could completely demonstrate them.(2)30° axial and 105° coronal HRCT scan had their own advantages respectively in demonstrating the structures of middle-inner ear.Conclusion The technique of 30° axial and 105° coronal HRCT scan of middle-inner ear is useful in demonstrating the structures,including the nerve,joint,ligament etc and the relationship among them.
10.Treatment of Acne Vulgaris Based on TCM Syndrome Differentiation: An Observation of 64 Cases with Lung-heat and Spleen-deficiency

[Objective] To observe the therapeutic effect of Qingfei Jianpi Decoction (QJD) for the treatment of acne vulgaris (AV) . [Methods] One hundred and five cases of AV were randomized into two groups: group A (n =64) was treated with QJD, a prescription medicine mainly composed of Herba Houttuyniae, Cortex Lycii, Cortex Moutan, Radix Scutellariae, Radix Fici Simplicissimae, Radix Flemingiae Philippinensis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, etc. , and group B (n=41) with tetracycline for 4 weeks. After treatment, the therapeutic effect, changes of facial lesion and signs, and side effects were observed. A 3-month follow-up was made for the cured patients to investigate the recurrence rate. [Results] Facial lesion and seborrheic degree were relieved in group A, the difference being significant as compared with those before treatment (P0.05 ) .
