Objective To inveatigate the effect of 15-HETE, a metabolite of arachidonic acid, on isolated hypoxic pulmonary arterial ringa ( PARs) , trying to find appropriate treatment for pulmonary hypertension and its complications during anesthesia in order to avoid hypoxemia. Methods Sixteen healthy Wistar rats of either sex weighing (230 ? 10) g were randomly divided into two groups : A control group breathing fresh air (FiO2 =21%) and B hypoxia group breathing hypoxic air (N2 = 90% , O2 = 10% ) in a hypoxic box. After breathing hypoxic air for 9 days the animals were anesthetized. Heart and lungs were immediately removed and PARs (0.5-1.0 mm in diameter and 3 mm in length) were prepared. Four PARs were prepared from each animal. The PARs were suspended in baths filled with Krebs-Hensleit (K-H) solution maintained at 37℃ and aerated with 95% O2 and 5% CO2. Preload was gradually increased to 0.3 g in 30 min. The isometric tension was measured using a four-channel force-displacement transducer. 15-HETE was added to K-H solution and the concentration was gradually increased from 10-8 to 10-6 mol?L-1 at 5 min intervals. Contractility of PARs was analyzed by a software of Medlab 6.0. Concentration-tension curve was drawn and contraction rates were calculated. 2 mmol?L-1 4-AP, 10-2 mol?L-1 TEA and 10-6 mol?L-1 GLYB were added to separate K-H solution baths and 40 min later 15-HETE was added in order to detennine the effect of difierent potassium channel blockers on contraction response of PARs to 15-HETE. Results With increasing concentration from 10-8 to 10-6 mol?L-1 , 15-HETE increased PARs tension gradually in a dose-dependent manner from 106% ?6% to 139% ? 4% in group A and from 113% ?6% to 163% ?6% in group B. The difference in PARs tension between group A and B was statistically significant (P

The infratemporal fossa abscess is an irregularly shaped cavity, situated below and media to the zygomatic arch. It consists of masseter and nervus vascularis, etc. Comparatively speaking, the low position of the infratemporal fossa has almost freed the patient from dental, nasal, ocular and aural source of pain. So facial acupuncture is more likely to cause the infection. But it is also possible that the patient get cryptogenic infection of maxillofacial cavity, the treatment of which needs further study.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2024;45(11):1579-1583
Objective:
To explore the impact of cognitive emotion regulation strategies on fear of negative evaluation among college students using a random forest algorithm in order to provide empirical evidence to support mental health improvements.
Methods:
In March 2024, a convenience sampling method was used to conduct an online survey with 5 750 college students from three universities in Wuhan, Hubei Province. A least squares regression model was employed to analyze whether cognitive emotion regulation strategies significantly influenced fear of negative evaluation. A random forest model was also constructed to identify predictors and rank the importance of various factors affecting fear of negative evaluation.
Results:
The least squares regression model indicated that cognitive emotion regulation strategies significantly impacted fear of negative evaluation among college students ( β=4.25, 95%CI=3.81-4.68, P <0.05). Family support, including mild impairment ( β=-2.71, 95%CI =-3.36 to -2.06, P <0.05) and severe impairment in the domain ( β=-1.64, 95%CI =-2.27 to -1.01, P <0.05), were associated with increased fear. The random forest model further revealed that cognitive emotion regulation strategies, family support index, and academic ranking were the main factors affecting the fear of negative evaluation among college students.
Conclusions
Cognitive emotion regulation strategies are key factors influencing fear of negative evaluation among college students. Universities should provide enhanced mental health resources, offer training to strengthen cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and offer additional support to students with low family support.

OBJECTIVETo explore the therapeutic effect and the hemorrheology change of berberine in new diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes combining nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
METHODSixty patients, in our department from March 2009 to March 2010, with type 2 diabetes and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease were randomly divided into two groups. One group was given berberine, another group was given Xuezhikang, both for 12 weeks. The indicators, include B-ultrasound of liver, triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspertate aminotransferase (AST), hemorrheology, were detected before and after treatment.
RESULTAfter treatment by berberine, B-ultrasound of liver were better than before, the effective rate was 70%, vs 73.3% after treatment by Xuezhikang. ALT, AST, TC, TG, LDL-L, hemorrheology (including the whole blood viscosity, whole blood viscosity, high cutting reduction of whole blood viscosity, plasma cutting reductive low viscosity, blood sedimentation, RBC deposited, fibrinogen) were significantly lower than before, however, HDL-L significantly increased (P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of xuezhikang was the same as berberine. The distance between the indicators of the two groups was no different.
CONCLUSIONBerberine can obviously improve the conditions of new diagnostic T2DM patients with nonalcoholic liver lesions, effectively reduce hemorrheology indicators, and has good application prospect.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(6):882-885
Objective:
To investigats the specific changes of brain neuron oscillation in non-clinical high-trait anxiety college students by recording the resting state EEG of high and low trait anxiety subjects.
Methods:
College students in a university were administered by using the S-TA Inventory, 27% of the number of people before and after the selection were divided into low-specific focus group (15) and high-trait anxiety group(15), based on the STAT score. After pre-processing, the data was divided into five frequency bands of δ(1-<4), θ(4-<8), α(8-<13), β(13-<30), γ(30-100)Hz and every electrode power value of those was calculated respectively. Correlation between power spectrum and trait anxiety scores was investigated.
Results:
The high-trait anxiety group were in the frontal and central regions (t=3.47, 2.62) of the δ band, the frontal region (t=2.22) of the θ band, the frontal, central, right temporal, and posterior regions (t=2.77, 2.23, 3.65, 2.35) of the β band, the frontal, left temporal, central, right temporal, and posterior regions (t=2.83, 2.22, 2.64, 2.43, 2.09) of the γ band, than that in the low trait anxiety group. Furthermore, in central regions of the δ band; the frontal region of the θ band; the frontal, the central, and posterior regions of the β band; the frontal, left temporal, central, and posterior regions(r=-0.63, -0.51, -0.62, -0.53, -0.54, -0.59, -0.56, -0.55, -0.49) of the γ band, the correlation between trait anxiety scores and the power value were obvious negatively.
Conclusion
High trait anxiety college students have lower power spectrum than low trait anxiety college students. The degree of trait anxiety is related to the power spectrum. The changes of brain resting-state electrical signals in high-trait anxiety individuals may be related to the influence of trait anxiety on college students’ attention and working memory.
