Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of ultrashort-wave therapy combined with electroacupuncture on the experimental rabbits with knee osteoarthritis. Methods Ten of fifty-five experimental Japanese big-ear rabbits were randomized into the blank control group, and the other 45 were made knee osteoarthritis models by prolonged fixation of the right posterior knee joint in extension for 6 weeks. The 40 successfully made models were randomized into model control group, electroacupuncture group, ultrashort-wave group, and combined electroacupuncture and ultrashort-wave group, 10 in each. The electroacupuncture group was treated with electroacupuncture at Xuehai (SP 10), Liangqiu (ST 34), Yanglingquan (GB 34), and Zusanli (ST 36) of the right posterior leg, the ultrashort-wave group was treated with ultrashort-wave therapy, and the combined electroacupuncture and ultrashort-wave group was treated with electroacupuncture and ultrashort-wave therapy, each time 25min, once a day. After treatment for 30 days, the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), and nitric oxide (NO) in serum and the movement of affected knee joint were measured respectively in each group. Results Compared with the model control group, there was a significant increase of SOD, decrease of NO and MDA and knee movement improvement in the electroacupuncture, ultrashort-wave, and combined groups (P
4.Attempts of How to Stimulate Students'Interest in Microbiology Teaching
Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Enforcing microbiology teaching and helping students gain comprehensive knowledge on microbiology have always been the goal for the teachers concerned, since microbiology plays an important role both in theory and in practical life.In microbiology teaching, how to stim- ulate students' interest is crucial to the teaching aim. This article mainly argues four items such as encouraging students participate in teach- ing, employing multimedia, optimizing contents of the textbook and integrating theory, and practice in that teaching.

6.Improvement of mouse spermatogonial cells transplantation method
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2010;41(1):165-168
Objective To improve the current method of spermatogonial cells transplantation, and make the new method become more operative and easy to carry out. Methods The spermatogonial cells in rC57BL6/tg14 (act-EGFO-Osb Y01) mice that expresse GFP protein were collected as the donor cells, and by using a modified syringe, and then were injected into the seminiferous tubules of pretreated wild type GFP-null mice through testicular efferent duct. The transplantation outcome was evaluated by trypan blue stainting and fluorescent microscopic examination and pathohistological analysis of transplanted testis. Results The transplanted testis of recipient mice showed green fluorescence signal, and the signal of seminiferous tubules was found significantly higher than that of the surrounding tissues. The transplanted GFP-positive cells generated colonies and spermatogenesis but pretreated wild type GFP-null mice were not found. Conclusion The expressed GFP protein spermatogonial cells in rC57BL6/tg14 mice were successfully transplanted in the wild type GFP-null recipient mice, fourthermore the improved transplantation method simplified the triditional one and achieved the same transplantation results.
7.Experimental study of hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and high-density porous polyethylene used for reconstruction of orbit of rabbits
Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(2):205-207
Objective To compare the biocompatible and osteconduetian behavior of the high-density porous polyethylene and hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. Methods Osteoectomy of the upper orbital rim was performed on 60 adult Japan rabbits. The animals were randomly divided into 3 groups with 20 of each. The hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, high-density porous polyethylene was implanted to the upper orbital defect of the animals in respective group. Animals were sacrificed at the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 8th weeks. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and Osteocalcin (OC)in the HDPE and hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene was also detected. Result During the experimental period of 8 weeks, there was no implants extrusion or displacement. Fibrous tissue and new vessels grew into HDPE were obviously elder than those grew into hydroxyapatite/ultra high molecular weight polyethy-lene. Alkaline phosphatase and osteocalcin contents has great difference, HDPE group is the best, followed by HA combination artificial group (P<0.05). Conclusions High-density porous polyethylene and hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene are both good orbital reconstruction materials, they all have good biocompatiblity and osteoconductian, but high-density porous polyethylene is better than hydroxyapatite/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene in osteoconductian.
8.The influence of the adjuvant treatment of compound glycyrrhizin on T - lymphocyte subsets in herpes zoster
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(z1):17-19
Objective To study the influence on T-lymphocyte subsets in herpes zoster with adjuvant treatment of compound glycyrrhizin. Methods 93 patients with herpes zoster were randomly divided into two groups:control group(46 cases, treated with antiviral drugs) and 1 treatment group(47 cases, treated with compound glycyrrhizin and antiviral drugs). The expression of T-lymphocyte subsets on the T cell surface in patients and control group were determined by flow cytometry. Results The expression of CD3,CD4,CD8,CD4/CD8 ratio was significantly different in the treatment group and control group. Conclusion Compound glycyrrhizic adjuvant therapy could not only shorten check blister, acetanilide, scar tissue and recovery time, reduce the sequela of neuralgia, but also affect the expression state of T lymphocyte subsets with herpes zoster, improve the cellular immune function with herpes zoster.
