Objective To establish a HPLC method to detect the propofol concentration of plasma in children undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass. Methods RP-HPLC with fluorescence detector was used in the study. Plasma samples were precipitated by the thymol-methanol solution, and centrifugated. 20?l of supernatant fluid was injected for analysis and separated by Dikma Diamonsil C18 column. The mobile phase was composed of acetonitril:water =56:44(V/V), flo rate was 1.0ml/min. Fluorescence detective wave lengths were ?ex= 276nm, ?em=312nm. HPLC machine was Agilent1100 series. Main column was Diamonsil C18(150?4.6nm,5um),guard column was Phenomenex Security(4mm?3mm). Results There was a good linear relationship within the range of 0.02～8.0mg/L(r=0.9993, n =9),the limit of detection was 5?g/L,average recovery was 96.99%,intra RSD(relative standard deviation )was between0.810% and 5.73%,inter RSD was between 0.932% and 7.337%. Conclusions The method is sensitive, simple, rapid, good linear relationship and precise. The experiment can be used for determination of propofol concentration in child undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass.

Objective To explore the effect of oxygen inhalation on the retinae of newborn rats and its mechanism. Methods We mimicked the retinopathy of prematurity(ROP) by putting the newborn rats in high concentrated oxygen. One-day-old rats were put into the oxygen box with the oxygen concentration of 80% for continuous 7 days; then in air condition for 7 days. The arterial blood oxygen pressure, retinal superoxide dismutase (SOD), and malondialdehyde (MDA) of the rats (1,2,4,7,8,9,11,14 days old) were examined. The diameter of retinal vessels′ main branch and the coverage rate of peripheral vessels were measured in 7- and 14-day-old rats by ink perfusion. The retinal neovascularization of rats (8,9,11,14 days old) were observed by HE staining. The rats of the same age fed in air condition were in the control group. Results The differential pressures of blood oxygen of rats (1,2,4,7 days old) in study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P0.05). Objective:To establish an algorithm on the turnover ratio of drug inventory. Methods: According to the employed method in the commercial field on calculating the inventory turnover and the requirements in the review of three level hospitals by the National Health and Family Planning Commission, an appropriate method for calculating the turnover rate of drug inventory was de-duced. Meanwhile, a corresponding program was performed for the verification. Results:Only the day turnover could be obtained ac-cording to the algorithms on the inventory turnover in commercial field, and the circumstances of the sales could be replaced by the cur-rent sales to obtain the statistics at any given time, while there was remarkable difference between the calculated results and the actual results of some species. If the time in store was chosen as the statistical index, the problem could be avoided. Conclusion:The meth-od with drug storage time as the statistical index can calculate the inventory turnover ratio at any time precisely, which also can be pro-grammed automatically, and the proportion of available varieties meets the inspection requirements.

Objective To evaluate the right ventricular function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by strain rate imaging. Methods Echocardiography were performed in 41 patients with COPD and 20 controls. Right ventricular frontal thickness (RVFT), right atrial end diastolic diameter(RAEDd) , right ventricular end diastolic diameter (RVEDd), right ventricular end diastolic area (RVEDa) ,right ventricular end systolic area (RVESa) (fraction of right ventricular area change (RVFA) and E/A of tricuspid valve flow were measured in 4-chamber apical view. Tissue velocity imaging (TVI) were accepted in apical four chamber apical views. The indies included peak systolic strain rate (SRs) ,peak early diastolic strain rate (SRe) ,peak late diastolic strain rate (SRa) and SRe/SRa. Results According the pulmonary pressure, the patients with COPD were divided into 2 groups: group PAH (pulmonary artery hypertension) and group NPAH (non-pulmonary artery hypertension). Compared with controls, RVFT, RAEDd and RVEDd of group PAH increased significantly, RVFA and E/A decreased significantly, the upper indices of group NPAH had no significant difference, SRs, SRe and SRe/ SRa of right ventricular free wall and interventricular septal in group PAH and group NPAH decreased significantly, but there was no significant difference of SRa. Compared with group NPAH,SRs,SRe and SRe/SRa of right ventricular free wall and interventricular septal in group PAH decreased significantly,but there was no significant difference of SRa; there was significant positive correlation between SRs of right ventricular free wall and FEV1 /FVC, DLco/VA in patients with COPD,but there was no significant correlation between SRe of right ventricular free wall and RVFA, E/A,FEV1 /FVC and DLco/VA. Conclusions Function of right ventricle in patients with COPD can be damaged with or without pulmonary hypertention; SRI can detect right ventricular function in these patients easily and noninvasive.

Objective To evaluate the value of strain rate imaging(SRl) in quantitatively detecting regional right ventricular function in hypertension(HBP) patients with different mode of left ventricle.Methods Thirty-eight patients with HBP were divided into left ventricular nermal (LVN) and left ventricular remodeling(LVR) groups according to left ventricular mass index(LVMI) and relative wall thickness(RWT).Twenty-three controls were performed echocradiography examination.Tissue velocity imagings of all the patients and controls were accepted in apical four chamber views.The indies included:peak systolic velocity(Vs),peak early diastolic velocity(Ve),peak late diastolic velocity(Va) and Ve/Va of triscular annulus,peak systolic strain rate(SRs),peak early diastolic strain rate (SRe),peak late diastolic strain rate(SRa) and SRe/SRa of right ventricular free wall.Results Compared with controls,Ve/Va of LVN group decreased significantly,but there were no difference in Vs and Ve.Compared with LVN group and controls,Ve and Ve/Va of LVR group decreased significantly,but there were no significantly difference in Vs.Compared with controls,Ss,SRe and SRe/SRa of LVN and LVR group decreased significantly,but there was no significantly difference in SRs;compared with LVN group,Ss,SRe and SRe/SRa of LVR group decreased significantly,but there was no significantly difference in SRs.Conclusions The systolic and diastolic function of RV in patients with HBP damaged with or without left ventricular remodeling.SRI can evaluated regional right ventricular funciton in these patients accurately.

Objective To upgrade No.1 Military Medial Project database from Oracle8.17 to Oracle10g. Methods Through the establishment of database link, the database migration was realized based on full test's foundation. Results The database was upgraded and the system's operation speed was enhanced greatly. Conclusion Under the existing technology, it is feasible to upgrade Oracle database from Oracle8.17 in 32 bits to Oracle10g in 64 bits, and the benefit is remarkable.

BACKGROUND: As a group of primary cells,stem cells have the potentials of self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation, and can replace the damaged cardiomyocytes to construct new vessels, and enable the asthenic heart to obtain the blood pumping function again.This study summarized the progress of stem cell transplantation in treating cardiovascular diseasesDATA SOURCES:A computer-based online search of Pubmed database was undertaken to identify English articles published from January 2000 to December 2005, the keywords were "stem cell transplantation, cardiovascular diseases".STUDY SELECTION: The articles were primarily checked, and the references of each literature were looked up. Inclusive criteria:articles correlated with the classification and the transplanted pathways of stem cells,the present status,problems and prospect of its basic and clinical application in treating cardiovascular diseases. Exclusive criteria: repetitive study or Meta analysis.DATA EXTRACTION:Totally 50 relative literatures were collected, and 31 of them accorded with the inclusive criteria,and the other 19 were excluded due to the old or repetitive contents. Of the 31 involved literatures, 19 were about the classification of stem cells used in cardiovascular system, 1 about the transplanted pathways of stem cells, 8 about the application of stem cells in treating cardiovascular diseases, and 3 about the existing problems and prospect.DATA SYNTHESIS:With the continuous improvement of living level and aging, cardiovascular diseases have become the main causes for death and disability in modern society.Stem cells have the potentials of multi-directional differentiation, and have become the main seed cells for cell replacement therapy, and provided important investigative and applicating field for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. At present, there are many stem cells to be used in cardiovascular system, including embryonic stem cells, umbilical cord blood stem cells, peripheral blood stem cells, bone marrow stem cells, skeletal muscle satellite cells, myocardial stem cells, adipose tissue-derived stem cells, etc. The common pathways for stem cell transplantation are direct injection into myocardium,intracoronary artery injection and intravenous injection.Stem cell transplantation can treat cardiovascular diseases by promoting angiogenesis and myocardial regeneration, decreasing myocardial apoptosis and reducing myocardial collagen, then ameliorate the cardiac function, and breakthrough and progress have been made in both animal models and clinical studies. However, problems sill exist to be solved, and there is agreat distance to the routine clinical application.CONCLUSION: Stem cells are the important fields of the basic research and clinical application for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases,thus it will provide powerful theoretical and practical supports for the more effective prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases to solving the key points and difficulties in cardiovascular diseases.

Objective To observe the effects of Huangqi Sanxian Decoction,an invigorating kidney and activating blood Chinese medicine,on ultramicrostructure of brain immunocyte of ovariectomized rats.Methods Fifty female rats were randomized into five groups:sham operated group,model group,high-dosage treatment group,low-dosage treatment group and Naofukang control group.The rats models in these groups were established by excising two ovary from dorsal incision,and the same size of fat was excised in the sham operated group.The treatment groups were administrated Huangqi Sanxian Decoction by gastric gavage,the period of treatment for 4 weeks.The status of hippocampal artrocytes,the level of interleukin-6 and serum estradiol were observed after treatment for 4 weeks.Results Ovariectomy can induce hyperplasia of hippocampal artrocytes in the central nervous system,while Huangqi Sanxian Decoction can reduce the artrocyte number,increase the estradiol level and decrease the interleukin-6 level in a dose-dependent manner.Naofukang control group showed no influence on estradiol level.Conclusion Huangqi Sanxian Decoction can inhibit the artrocyte hyperplasia and inflammatory responses in the hippocampas of central nervous system.It exerts protective effects by increasing the estradiol level probably.

To determine the differences in analgesic, hemodynamic and ventilatory effects between epidural and intravenous midazolam (MID), 44 adult patients, ASA grade Ⅰ to Ⅱ, scheduled for elective upper abdominal surgery. were randomly allocated to receiving epidural MID 0.05 mg/kg (group E_1) or 0.1 mg/kg (group E_2). or intravenous MID 0.05 mg/kg (group V_1) or 0.1 mg/kg (group V_2), respectively, The analegic effect was evaluated by pin-prink test, following MID administration. The hemodynamie and ventilatory values were measured by impedance cardiogra phy and side stream spirometry, before and 1.3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 mins after MID administration. Tbe results showed that the segmental spinal analgesia occured with MID in group E_1 and E_2, but no analgesia was produced with WID in group V_1 and V_2. Following MID administration in four groups, HR increased during first 5 mins (P0.05); CI, SI. LVWI, MAP, RPP and indices of myocardial eonstraction, cardiae peak flow and blood ejection velocity decreased slightly(P0.05). After MID administration, SpO_2 and VT were reduced (P0.05), and the inspiratory end-tidal oxygen content difference was elevated transiently (P0.05) and went down in group E_2 and V2(P0.05).

Objective To adopt the network meta analysis method to compare the incidence difference of cutaneous squamous-cell carcinoma(SCC)and rash in 5 kinds of targeted drugs regimen for treating malignant melanoma.Methods PubMed and Cochrane Library databases were retrieved by computer.The retrieval range was from their establishment to November 2015.The network meta analysis pooled the evidences of direct and indirect comparison for evaluating the pooled odds ratio(OR)and cumulative probability of cutaneous complications occurrence difference in 5 kinds of targeted drugs regimen for treating malignant melanoma.Results Six randomized controlled trials(RCTs)conforming to the inclusion criteria were included.The meta analysis results revealed that compared with Dabrafenib+Trametinib,the cutaneous SCC occurrence rate of Vemurafenib was higher(OR=9.20,95％CI=1.26-52.53),while the rash occurrence rate of Vemurafenib+Cobimetinib was higher(OR=6.81,95％CI=1.01-41.87).The surface under the cumulative ranking curves(SUCRA)value showed that adopting Trametinib had the lowest occurrence rate for SCC,and adopting Dabrafenib+Trametinib had the lowest occurrence rate of rash.Conclusion Dabrafenib+Trametinibis generate the lowest complication incidence rate of malignant melanoma.
