1.The relationship between implicit memory and auditory evoked potential index under general anesthesia

Objective To investigate the effects of propofol and inhalation anesthetics on the implicit memory under general anesthesia and determine the critical value of auditory evoked potential index (AEI) at which implicit memory no longer exists. Methods Sixty ASA I-II patients of both sexes scheduled for elective abdominal surgery or surgery on lower limb were enrolled in the study. They averaged (41.25?9.25) years and (63.8?9.57) kg. Patients with psychoneural or memory disorders were excluded. The patients were randomly divided into five groups of 12 patients in each group: isoflurane, sevoflurane, desflurane, propofol and control group. Each inhalation anesthetic group was further divided into two subgroups based on their end-tidal concentration: 0.8 or 1 .0 MAC. Propofol group was divided into two groups based on the infusion rate: 8 mg.kg. h-1 or 10mg.kg.h-1 . In control group operation was performed under epidural anesthesia. The patients were unpremedicated. Anesthesia was induced with propofot 1 .5-2.0 mg.kg and vecuronium 0. -0.2mg.kg-1, and maintained with inhalation anesthetic or propofol infusion supplemented with intermittent boluses of fentanyl and vecuronium. AEI was continuously monitored and recorded before anesthesia (T0), when the patient was sleepy (T1 ) and did not respond to verbal command (T2 ), after intubation (T3), after skin incision (T4), when peritoneum was being closed (or 30 min before the surgery) ( T5 ) and during emergence from anesthesia ( T6 ) . Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can infect the roots of Cercidiphyllaceae and form arbuscular mycorrhizae.Infection rate is from 12% to 30%,but infection strength is weak.4 species of Acaulospora and 11 species of Glomus were isolated and identified,including Acaulospora tuberculata,A.spinosa,A.foveata,A.denticulate,Glomus geosporum,G.clarum,G.constrictum,G.monosporum,G.laroideum,G.versifome,G.microcarpum,G.mosseae,G.hoi,G.halonatum and G.reticulatum.Among them,G.cercidiphyllorum is advantage species.So AMF may be a potent resource of biology which can stimulate the growth of Panax notoginseng.
3.A cross-sectional study on prevalence of scoliosis among primary and middle school students in Jiaxing City

Objective:
To investigate the prevalence of scoliosis among primary and middle school students in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, so as to provide insights into scoliosis control among children and adolescents.
Methods:
Grade 4 to 6 primary school students and grade 1 to 3 junior high school students were recruited using a stratified cluster sampling method in Jiaxing City in 2019. Participants' demographic characteristics, dietary habits and nutritional status, physical activity, learning environments, reading and writing habits were collected using questionnaires. Scoliosis was screened through general examinations, forward bend test and scoliometer, and scoliosis was diagnosed with whole-spine X-ray scans in an erect position. The prevalence of scoliosis was descriptively analyzed among primary and middle school students.
Results:
A total of 8 026 primary and middle school students were included, 7 304 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 91.00%. The respondents included 3 667 primary school students (50.21%) and 3 637 junior high school students (49.79%), and included 3 776 boys (51.70%) and 3 528 girls (48.30%). There were 659 participants with initial screening positive for scoliosis (9.02%), and the percentages of positive initial screening of thoracic, thoracolumbar and lumbar scoliosis were 2.93%, 4.56% and 4.56%, respectively. A higher percentage of positive initial screening of scoliosis was diagnosed among participants living in Pinghu City (10.45%), junior high school students (11.74%), girls (11.96%), students with a medical history of anemia (22.44%), students with less than 3 days of moderate-intensity physical activity in the past week (9.46%), students with less than 3 days of walking duration of over 10 minutes in the past week (10.18%), students with daily sitting duration of 5 hours and more in the past week (10.74%), students with their class seats exchanged every semester or month (10.28%), students with daily reading and writing duration of 3 hours and more after school (10.93%) and students with less than 10 cm distance from the chest at reading or writing to the edge of the table (9.67%) (all P<0.05). A total of 218 students received whole-spine X-ray scans in an erect position, 132 participants were definitively diagnosed as scoliosis (60.55%), and the estimated prevalence of scoliosis was 5.46%.
Conclusion
The percentage of positive initial screening of scoliosis was 9.02% among primary and middle school students in Jiaxing City. Gender, stage of learning, nutritional status, exercise frequency and habits of reading and writing may be factors affecting the development of scoliosis.
4.How to improve the survival of the fetal ventral mesencephalic cell transplanted in Parkinson's disease?

It has been extensively confirmed that fetal ventral mesencephalic cell (VMC) transplantation can ameliorate the symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD). But there are still several problems to be resolved before the extensive clinical application of this technology. The major limitations are the poor survival of grafted dopamine (DA) neurons and restricted dopaminergic reinnervation of host striatum. Some attempts have been made to solve these problems including use of some trophic factor and co-transplantation with neural/paraneural origins. The purpose of this review is to overview advances of the means improving the survival of grafts and their current limitations.

5.Effect of AAVC-I on the migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of component I from agkistrodon acutus venomon (AAVC-I) the migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), and to elucidate the possible anti-angiogenic mechanism of AAVC-I.
METHODSThe effect of AAVC-I on the migration of HUVECs which was cultivated in vitro and treated with AAVC-1 at four concentrations: 0, 20, 40, 80 microg/ml, was observed by methods of scratch wound-healing and Transwell assay. The expression level of mRNA and protein of P-selectin and intercellular cell adhension molecule-I (ICAM-1) were examined by RT-PCR and Western blot assay.
RESULTSCompared with the blank group, the migration ability of HUVECs in each AAVE-I treated group was reduced in a dose-dependent manner, and the expression level of the mRNA and protein of P-selectin and ICAM-1 were decreased.
CONCLUSIONAAVC-I inhibits the migration of endothelial cell, which is acted by down-regulation of the expression content of mRNA and protein of P-selectin and ICAM-1.

6.Study on preparation of salvianolic acid phospholipid compound.

To prepare salvianolic acid phospholipid compound. With the compound of salvianolic acids and soybean phospholipid as the index, mono-factor experiment and orthogonal design experiment were conducted to screen its technical parameters. According to the results, the optimal preparation conditions of salvianolic acid phospholipid compound were that THF were taken as the reaction solvent, the concentration time was 3 h, the reactant concentration was 5 g x L(-1), the mass ratio of salvianolic acids and phospholipid was 1: 1.5, and the reaction temperature was 40 degrees C. The oil/water partition coefficient of the prepared salvianolic acid phospholipid compound significant increased in water and buffers with different pH values. The results of phase analysis such as DSC, XRD and FTIR indicated that salvianolic acids existed in phospholipid in an amorphous state.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between odor and contents of the chemical compounds in Lonicera japonica, including chlorogenic acid, galuteolin and polyphenols. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was applied to determine the contents of chlorogenic acid and galuteolin in L. japonica. The ponptent of polyphenols was determined by UV-Vis Spectrophotometry. Electronic nose was used to extract and measure the odor of L. japonica. Then SPSS 17.0 software was employed for data processing. There is a significant positive correlation between the comprehensive index value of aroma and the contents of chlorogenic acid and polyphenols. The regression equations have been established. However, the relationship between the comprehensive index value and the content of galuteolin is not obvious. This is proof that the odor of L. japonica has close connection with the chemical compounds. Therefore, this research offered a new method for initially determine or predict the content of the chemical composition in L. japonica,

10.Investigation of BAALC gene expression in patients with de novo acute myeloid leukemia by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction and its clinical significance

Objective To investigate BAALC(brain and acute leukemia cytoplasmic)gene expression in patients with de novo acute myeloid leukemia(AML)and its clinical significance. Methods BAALC expression was determined by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RQ-PCR) in 63 de novo AML patients.The association between BAALC expression and therapeutic effect was analyzed.Results The correlation coefficiencies were over 0.99 for standard curves of RQ-PCR method. BAALC expression was detected in 49(78%)AML patients.The peripheral WBC counts,hemoglobin, platelet counts and the bone mahow blast cell percentage at onset in 31 AML patients with high BAALC expression were(26.3?18.1)?10~9/L,(78.3?21.8)g/L,(76.9?64.5)?10~9/L and(61.2?22.3)% and those of 32 AML patients with low BAALC expression were(30.2?21.7)?10~9/L,(81.6?30.9)g/L, (73.9?57.2)?10~9/L,(54.3?16.3)%,respectively.No statistic differences were found between these two groups.The AML patients with normal chromosome karyotypes are more likely to have a high BAALC expression(68%)compared with those with abnormal chromosome karyotypes(23%,?~2=12.093,P= 0.001).AML patients with normal cytogenetics and high BAALC expression shows significant lower CR rate (65%)compared with those with low BAALC expression(84%,?~2=6.573,P=0.013). Conclusion High BAALC expression may define an important risk factor in AML with normal cytogenetics and predicts an adverse prognosis.
