Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the significance of the expression CDK4 and CyclinD1 in renal carcinoma. Methods Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method was used to detect the expression level of CDK4 and CyclinD1 in 30 specimens of renal carcinoma tissue and 30 specimens of carcinoma-adjacent renal tissue. Results The expression level of CyclinD1 and CDK4 gene in renal carcinoma tissue was higher than that in carcinoma-adjacent renal tissues (P

China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the economic effectiveness of three angiotension-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI) in treating patients with essential hypertension.METHODS:186 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into three groups receiving enalapril, fosinopril and perindopril respectively. The results were evaluated with pharmacoeconomic analysis.RESULTS:In treatment of hypertension, enalapril was minimal in cost.CONCLUSION:Therapeutic effect will be improved and cost decreased when pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis is used.

BACKGROUND:Surface marker molecules and differential ability of human adipose tissues-derived mesenchymal stem cells can change with the prolonged culture time.OBJECTIVE:To analyze the morphological characteristics and colony forming capacity of early cultured rabbit adipose tissues-derived mesenchymal stem cells in vitro.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The cytological in vitro study was performed at the Institute of Ophthalmology, and Central Laboratory,Eye and ENT Hospital,Fudan University from January to March 2008.MATERIALS:Nine female New Zealand rabbits aged three months were obtained from the Shanghai Yingenyang Rabbit Room.METHODS:Adipose tissue was harvested from the nape fat pad of the New Zealand rabbits following anesthesia.Primary cultured cells were established using type I collagenase and cell cultures were maintained with DMEM containing 0.1 volume fraction of fetal bovine serum.Cells were passaged when 80% was confluent. The second, third and fourth passages of cells were utilized for the study.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The morphology of adipose tissues-derived mesenchymal stem cells was observed using inverted microscope.Cell phenotype was detected utilizing flow cytometry. The cloning capacity was determined.RESULTS:Adipose tissues-derived mesenchymal stem cells were fibroblast-like and proliferated rapidly in vitro at the second, third and fourth passage.Flow cytometry showed that adipose tissues-derived mesenchymal stem cells expressed CD29 and PCNA.The colony-forming rates were respectively(8.0?0.6)%,(6.7?0.4)% and(4.6?0.5)%(F=12.18,P

OBJECTIVETo explore the curative effect and safety of acupuncture for mild cognitive disorders after stroke.
METHODSRandomized controlled trial was adopted and one hundred cases conforming to criteria were divided into a combined acupuncture and medication group (group A) and a medication group (group B), 50 cases in each group. The basic treatment of cerebrovascular disease was applied in two groups. The group A treated was with acupuncture at Baihui (GV 20), Shenting (GV 24) and Qucha (BL 4) etc. and oral administration of Nimodipine. In group B, Nimodipine was taken orally. The treatment lasted for 3 months, the scores of Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), modified Hasegawa Dementia Scale (HDS-R) and Barthel Index (BI) were observed before and after treatment in two groups.
RESULTSThe total effective rate in group A was 66.7% (32/48), which was superior to 30.4% (14/46) in group B (P < 0.05). The scores of MMSE, HDS-R and BI after treatment were apparently improved as compared with those before treatment in two groups (all P < 0.01). The improvements in group A were superior to those in group B (all P < 0.05). There was no adverse event reported during the treatment in two groups.
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture can improve activity of daily living and has significant effect in treating mild cognition disorders after stroke without adverse reactions.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the influential factors to the prognosis of senile patients with bladder cancer. Methods One hundred and forty-five senile patients with bladder cancer confirmed by pathology from 1998 to 2008 were clinically investigated and analyzed using measuring scales of Functional Living Index-Cancer (FLIC), Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G) and Cancer Rehabilitation Evaluation System short form (CARES-SF). The factors influencing the prognosis were selected and quantified, and the relationship between the factors and prognosis was statistically analyzed. Results By retrospective analysis of clinical data, it was revealed that, suppose every 5 years from 65 were as an age grade, the age-gradient was positively correlated with the survival rates (r=0.687, P

Objective To investigate the influence of hepatectomy combined with splenectomy on curative effect of primary hepatocellular carcinoma patients associated with hypersplenism. Methods Twenty three cases of primary hepatocellular carcinoma associated with hypersplenism were analyzed retrospectively and divided into hepatectomy combined with splenectomy group (n=10) and hepatectomy combined with ligation of splenic artery (n=13). Peripheral blood samples were collected 1 week before operation and 3 monthes after operation respectively. The levels of CD4, CD8, CD16, CD4/CD8, WBC and PLT in the blood were detected. Survival rate between the two groups was compared. Results There were not significant differences in the expressional levels of CD4, CD8, CD16, CD4/CD8,WBC and PLT before operation, bleeding quantity during the operation and rate of severe complications after operation in the two groups. The expressional levels of CD4, CD16, CD4/CD8, WBC and PLT of hepatectomy combined with splenectomy group were much higher in 3 months after operation than those in 1 week before operation and in hepatectomy combined with ligation of splenic artery group (P
