1.A New Method for the Extraction of Tea-Polyphenols
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(03):-
A new method for the extraction of tea-polypbenols (TP ) from tea using AlCl3 as precipitating agents was proposed. Compared with tbe traditional extraction method using organic solvents, it is shown that the new method is simple and can be operated easily. The extraction rate of TP by the new method could reach 10.5% and the content of the effective ingredients of TP could reach over 99.5%
2.EFFECTS OF GINSENOSIDES AND PANTOCRINE ON THE FUNCTION OF REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM IN MALE RATS
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
In vitro experiment, results showed the that the LH secretion of adenohypophysis incubated with Ginsenosides ( G ) and Pantoc-rine ( P ) was significantly increased, similar to the exciting effect of LRH which stimulats LH secretion. By addition of G or P and Indomethacin (an inhibitor of PGs synthesis) at the same time, however, the LH secretion was significantly decreased. It appears that PGs may be involved in the regulation of the exciting effect of G and P on LH secretion. The experiment in vivo also demonstrated that in healthy young male rats injected with P by S.c.,thetestosterone content in plasma had significant increase, that the binding capacity of testicular tissue to 125I-HCG (receptor function) did not change clearly.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2005;3(6):8-10
After 160 cases of chronic type Ⅲ prostatitis were divided into the treatment group (n= 80) and control group (n = 80), in the treatment group, first Zhibian (BL 54) was punctured toward Shuidao (ST 28) and then Qihai (CV 6), Guanyuan (CV 4), Shuidao (ST 28)Baihui (GV 20), Fengchi (GB 20), Sishencong (Ex-HN 1), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Taichong (LR 3) were punctured, and at the same time, digital computerized microwave apparatus was inserted into the anus for microwave treatment. Afterward, moritatherapy was applied for psychological consultation for the patients. In the control group, compound sinomin and Phenoxybenzamine Hydrochloride Tablets were used orally. The results showed that the therapeutic effects were respectively 92.5% and 68.8% in two groups, with statistic significance (P < 0.01).

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(07):-
Objective To study the influence and mechanism of seawater immersion on endothelial cell injury sustained by burn firearm combined injury to improve the early therapeutic efficacy. Methods The dogs with burn firearm combined injury were randomly divided into two groups: immersion group and control group. In immersion group, the dogs were immersed in seawater for 4 hours, then taken out from seawater. Blood samples were collected from central vein at 4 h, 7 h, 10 h, 20 h and 28 h following wound for the detection of changes of the circulating endothelial cells (CEC) and von Willebrand Factor (vWF). The same procedures except immersion were performed in the control group. Results The levels of CEC and vWF elevated at 4 h and 7 h following wound in control group( P

Objective To investigate the effect of seawater immersion on the hemostatic function of endothelial cells in dogs sustained burn firearm combined injury and the mechanisms. Methods Dogs with burn firearm combined injury were randomly divided into two groups: immersion group and control group. Dogs in immersion group were immersed in seawater for 4 h, and then taken out from seawater. Blood samples were collected from central vein before wound, immediately after immersion, at 4, 7, 10, 20, and 28 h after immersion to detect the changes in circulating endothelial cells (CEC), tissue type plasminogen activator (t PA), plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI), and thromboxane B 2/6 keto prostaglandin F 1? (TXB 2/6 K PGF 1? ). Dogs were sacrificed at 28 h after wound for the purpose of pathological examination of the lung tissue. The indices detected except seawater immersion in the control group were the same as those in the immersion group. Results In the control group, the levels of CEC, PAI 1, and TXB 2/6 K PGF 1? increased, but the level of t PA decreased at 4 and 7 h after wound. However, in immersion group, the levels of CEC, PAI 1 and TXB2/6 K PGF1? kept increasing, but the level of t PA kept decreasing at 4, 7, 10, 20, and 28 h. Each index in immersion group from 4 h to 28 h after wound was significantly different from that in the control group ( P
8.Effect of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy on cervical carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(23):3175-3177
Objective To study the value of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of cervical carcinoma. MethodsA clinical prospective study was carried out from Jan.1997 to Dec.2003,118 patients with cervical carcinoma were given two cycles of combined chemotherapy before operation(neoadjuvant chemotherapy group, group A).102 patients accepted surgery alone in our hospital from Jan.1997 to Dec.2003 were chosen as the comparison group(group B).Survival rate and complications were observed and analysed. Results5 year survival rate in group A was significantly higher than that in group B(P<0.01),The 5 year survival rate was significantly higher in group A than in group B,despite of different pathological types, with or without radiochemotherapy(P<0.05).The recurrent rate was lower in group A than that in group B,which show significant difference in the 5 year recurrent rate(P<0.05). ConclusionNeoadjuvant chemotherapy is an effective method for the treatment of cervical carcinoma in early stage.Because of satisfactory short-term control rate, excision rate,long-term survival rate and low recurrent and metastatic rate, neoadjuvant chemotherapy is worth popularizing in clinical treatment.
9.Preparation and Antibacterial Effect of Polyamine Cotton Fiber Loaded with Cu~(2+)
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To study the method for preparing the polyamine cotton fiber loaded with Cu2+ and to test the antibacterial effect of the cotton fiber. Methods The natural cotton fiber was treated through basification, epoxygenation, alkene amination and Cu2+ adsorption. 8 kinds of microorganisms were used for the bacteriostasis test. Results The modified fibers showed a good antimicrobial effect to gram-negative bacteria and the bacteriostasis value achieved 6. The minimal sterilization concentrations of the Cu2+-diethylene triamine cotton fiber, Cu2+-triethylene tetramine cotton fiber and Cu2+-tetraethylene pentamine cotton fiber were 12 mg/ml, 14 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml respectively. The antibacterial process of the cotton fiber included two parts, adsorption and sterilization. The acting site was on the cell membrane. A positive relationship was seen between the concentration of antibacterial cotton fiber and the dissolved rate of bacteria. Conclusion The metal ion fiber shows an excellent performance of broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, especially to gram-negative bacteria and may be the "contact killing" is the acting manner of the antibacterial cotton fiber.

Objective To evaluate the effects of percutanenous intrapulmonary injecti0n 0f IL-2 plus radiotherapy for lung cancer. Methods Twenty-two patients with inoperable non small cell lung cancer received percutanenous intrapulmonary injection of 100U ? 6 in 6 weeks; and radiation dose was 60 Gy/6wks. Results The total effective response rate (CR+PR) was 95. 4 % with the complete response rate (CR) of 40. 9 %. Couclusion Percutanenous intrapulmomary injection of IL-2 plus radiotherapy could improve the control rate of the patients with lung cancer.
