Objective To assess the preventive effect of artesunate against reinfection of Schistosoma japonicum. Methods Volunteers were divided into 3 groups,Medication Group Ⅰ took artesunate 6 mg/kg ,once a week for 4 weeks,Medication Group Ⅱ took artesunate 6 mg/kg in the 1st and 3rd week, twice a week, and a control group was given a placebo. The 3 teams took praziquantel 40 mg/kg on the 4th weekend. The effects of artesunate in early treatment were observed at the 8th weekend, and the preventive effects of artesunate against reinfection were assessed at the 12th weekend. The positive rate of fecal examination was used as the indicator. Results In the stage of early treatment, the positive rates of fecal examination in Medication Group Ⅰ ,Ⅱdecreased significantly compared with the data before the study with all P values less than 0.05 ;in the stage of preventing reinfection, compared with the data before the study, the positive rates of the fecal examination declined significantly in Medication Group Ⅰ,Ⅱ ,with all P values less than 0.05.While in the control group, the positive rates of the fecal examination had no significant changes in the two stages. Conclusions Artesunate has a valid effect against schistosome infections in the early treatment and can prevent residents from reinfection, and the suitable dosage is 6 mg/kg,once a week for 4 weeks.

Objective To compare the clinical effects of laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication (LNF)combined with highly selective vagotomy(HSV)(LNFHSV)in treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD),and to provide reference for the clinical application of LNFHSV.Methods 22 patients with a history of GERD unrelieved by medication and underwent LNFHSV were selected. At the same time ,36 patients with GERD underwent LNF were used as control. The mean operation time, hospital stay, incidence of main operative complications,HSS complete remission and Demeester scores of the patients in two groups were retrospectively analyzed. Results The Demeester scores, hospital stay, incidence of main operative complications of the patients in two groups before operation had no significant differences(P>0.05).The mean operation time in LNFHSV group (90 min±35 min) was longer than that in LNF group(65 min± 21 min). The Demeester scores of the patients in two groups after operation had significant difference(P<0.05).The HSS complete remission rate of the patients in LNFHSV group was 91.1%,the part remission rate was 8.9%,and no effectiveness was 0;they were 83.3%,13.8%,and 2.8% in LNF group;there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion LNFHSV has better effectiveness in controlling GERD than LNF procedure.

Objective To investigate the relationship of lacunar infarction (LI) and white matter lesion with cognitive impairment in patients with subcortical ischemic vascular disease (SIVD) Methods Fifty-three patients were diagnosed as SIVD according to the criteria of Erkinjuntti. The symptoms and signs were recorded by an interview and examination, and neuropsychological assessment and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed. A semi-automated MRI quantitative method was used to measure the volume of white matter hyperintensity (WMH) and the number of LI was counted. Correlation and the partial correlation analysis were performed to examine the relationship of general cognitive function with the volume of WMH and the number of LI. Results The pseudobulbar paralysis symptom and the upper motoneuron injury sign were the most common in these patients (18.9% and 37.7%). Correlation analysis showed that there was positive correlation between the volume of WMH and age (r = 0. 518, P < 0. 05), and there was negative correlcction between mini-metal state examination (MMSE) scures and the volume of WMH (r=-0.514, P<0. 05), After controlling confounding factors, only age was positively correlated with the volume of WMH (r=0. 400, P=0. 004). There were negative correlation between the number of LI, the volume of WMH and MMSE scores(r=-0. 456,-0. 514,-0. 385,-0. 382;all P<0. 05), and the years of education was positively correlated with MMSE scores (r= 0. 518, P< 0. 001). Conclusions Age may not be the main risk factor for cognitive impairment in patients with SIVD. The volume of WMH and the number of LI are independent risk factors for cognitive impairment in patients with SIVD. Patients with severer SIVD or more LI show poorer performance on cognitive function.

In this review, the authors summarized the new technologies and methods for identifying traditional Chinese medicinal materials, including molecular identification, chemical identification, morphological identification, microscopic identification and identification based on biological effects. The authors introduced the principle, characteristics, application and prospect on each new technology or method and compared their advantages and disadvantages. In general, new methods make the result more objective and accurate. DNA barcoding technique and spectroscopy identification have their owner obvious strongpoint in universality and digitalization. In the near future, the two techniques are promising to be the main trend for identifying traditional Chinese medicinal materials. The identification techniques based on microscopy, liquid chromatography, PCR, biological effects and DNA chip will be indispensable supplements. However, the bionic identification technology is just placed in the developing stage at present.

Based on the current situation and task of fighting COVID-19, and combined with emergency management mode of public health emergencies and participation of multi-times emergency rescue practices along with the case analysis and literature review and brain-storming, we constructed a basic framework of the emergency command system of public health emergencies in COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control background. The framework contained four modules: the response mechanism, the organizational structure, the emergency capacity, and the supervisory mechanism and the advantages and key points in implementing this emergency command system was discussed.

In the emergency of the outbreak of COVID-19 in December 2019, Shaanxi Provincial Health Committee mobilized several medical teams from major hospitals in the province, and, by relying on Xi’an Chest Hospital, jointly established an anti COVID-19 consortium to control and eradicate the epidemic in a short time. Information support is an important guarantee for winning this battle. In order to realize the efficient cooperation among multiple medical teams, we have carried out some exploratory and innovative information support services on the basis of the original information system of the chest hospital. In this process, we have gone through some detours. Some compromises were made on some problems that could not be solved in the short term. Finally, in an environment full of uncertainty, a set of information support management system with basically smooth operation was built through rapid trial and error adjustment. The system mainly includes the following aspects: support of the organizational structure and operation process of the anti-epidemic consortium, support for medical collaboration related businesses of multiple medical teams, and support for statistical reports and online meetings. Information support has played a very important role in this action, and this practice has also accumulated experience for us to deal with similar situations in the future.
