Objective To study the clinical value of detection of peripheral blood natural killer(NK) cells subsets in patients with malignant hematological diseases.Methods A total of 100 patients with malignant blood disease were enrolled from March 2014 to April 2016 as the observation group,including 50 cases in acute stage and 50 cases in mild stage.At the same time,100 health subjects were enrolled as the control group.The number of NK cells in peripheral blood and the changes of subgroups were compared.Results The number of NK cells in the different groups were compared,the absolute numbers and relative numbers of NK cells in the acute phase of leukemia and lymphoma were much lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).While the absolute number and relative number of NK cells in mild stage of leukemia and lymphoma were higher than that in acute phase(P<0.05).After treatment,the absolute number and relative number of NK cells in patients with leukemia and lymphoma were higher than before treatment(P<0.05).Before treatment,levels of CD56bright and CD56dim in patients with leukemia and lymphoma were statistically different with those of control group(P<0.05).After treatment,CD56bright and CD56dim levels were significantly improved in both groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The number of peripheral blood NK cells in patients with hematological malignancies could be reduced,and the cells function might be compromised.Detection of NK cell subsets could be with guiding significance in the treatment of malignant hematologic disease.

Purpose To investigate the expression and clinical significance of the cell cycle inhibitors p16 protein and specific recogni-tion of viral replication intermediate TLR3 in the cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ( CIN) and cervical invasive carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical stain was used to detect the expressions of p16 and TLR3 in 19 cases of normal cervical epithelium ( NCE) , 62 cases of CIN, and 17 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Results The positive rates of p16 protein were 0, 72. 5%and 100% in NCE, CIN and SCC respectively in which the difference among those groups were statistically significant ( P<0. 01 ) . Similarly, the positive rates of TLR3 protein were 26. 3%, 87% and 100% in NCE, CIN and SCC respectively and the difference a-mong those groups was significant (P<0. 01). Furthermore, there was a significant and positive correlation between the expression of p16 and TLR3 (rs =0. 538, P<0. 01). Conclusion Increased expression is observed in CIN and SCC compared with NCE and the expression of p16 and TLR3 is associated with level of CIN. Those could provide certain experiment basis for the pathologica diagnosis of early cervical cancer.

ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of superficial surround needling plus quadriceps femoris training in treating knee osteoarthritis and observe electromyographic amplitude variations by knee osteoarthritis.MethodNinety patients diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 45 cases each. The treatment group received superficial surround needling plus quadriceps femoris training and the control group, acupuncture alone. Both groups were treated for two weeks. Pre-treatment and post-treatment knee joint functions were scored and compared using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), the Lysholm Knee Score Scale and the electromyographic integral value. Meanwhile, electromyography was performed and electromyographic amplitude variations by knee osteoarthritis were compared between the two groups of patients.ResultThe total efficacy rate was 88.9% in the treatment group and 60.0% in the control group. It was higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS score, the Lysholm score and the electromyographic integral value were significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionSuperficial surround needling plus quadriceps femoris training has a marked therapeutic effect on knee osteoarthritis.

Objective:To study the anti-inflammatory effect of immune milk. Method:Twenty four strains of pathogenic bacteria (including 12 strains of pathogenic E.coli, 8 strains of Salmonella, 3 strains of Shigella and 1 strain of Yersinia enterocolitica) originated from human intestinal tract were selected as antigens, and dairy cows were immunized. Results:Vaccination could not increase the concentration of IgG in the immune milk, but significantly highten the specificity of milk antibodies. The antibody titers against 24 pathogenic bacteria in immune milk was 128, 64 folds of control regular milk. Conclusion:Feeding of immune milk could inhibit edema of rat footpad induced by carrageenin and formaldehyde and the formation of acestoma of mice caused by cotton embedded hypophloedally. Meanwhile, the PGE2 level in inflammatory footpad of rat fed with immune milk was remarkably lower than that of rat fed with regular milk. These results indicate that immune milk has anti-inflammatory property.

AIM: To investigate the changes of the L-type calcium channel subunit expression and calcium currents (I_~Ca -L) in cultured rat ventricular myocytes infected by coxsackie virus B_3 (CVB_3). METHODS: Primary cultured neonatal rat ventricular myocytes were infected with CVB_3. The changes of L-type calcium channel subunits mRNA in normal and infected myocytes were measured by semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. I_~Ca -L was recorded in two groups respectively using whole cell patch-clamp techniques. RESULTS: The expression of ?_1 and ? subunits of L-type calcium channel mRNA increased in the infected group compared with the normal one (4.00?0.07 vs 2.21?0.41, P0.05). Objective To explore the correlations of adult attachment with interpersonal conflict resolu-tions styles and differences between soldiers and employees. Methods Relationship questionnaire (RQ),experi-ence in close relationships (ECR),and Rahim handling interpersonal conflict inventory (ROCI-II) were adminis-tered to 543 employees from different enterprises in Beijing and Liaoning province and 701 soldiers. Results The results suggested the distribution of adult attachment style between soldiers and employees were significantly differ-ent. Compared with employees, there were higher dismissing hat lower secure rate in soldier sample. On handling interpersonal conflict strategy indices, such as integrating, avoiding, dominating and obliging but not compromising (t_((1120))=1.97, P<0.05), there were no significant differences between soldiers and employees. Only on in-tegrating, there were significant ditterenees among four adult attachment styles (F_((3,1009))=10.18, P<0.001).Attachment avoidance had a significantly negative correlation with integrating, obliging and compromising (r=-0.31,-0.11,-0.13 respectively), while attachment anxiety had moderate but significant correlations with a-voiding, dominating and obliging and compromising (r=0. 16,0.35, 0.35, 0.39, 0.30 respectively). Conclu-sion Adult attachment is closely related to handling interpersonal conflict strategies, and there was difference on compromising between soldiers and employees.

The effects of epidermal growth factor (EGF) on proliferation of G15 glioma cells and the possible mechanisms were investigated. GFAP and EGFR expression was detected by immunohistochemical method. After the cells were treated with EGF at different concentrations, cell count method was used to determine the proliferation of glioma cells, cell cycle and apoptosis were analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM), and laser scan confocal microscope (LSCM) was used to measure the cytoplasmic free calcium. The results showed that GFAP was diffusedly expressed in GL15 cells and EGFR was over-expressed. EGF at doses of < or =1 ng/mL could significantly stimulate cell proliferation, cells in phase G0/G1 decreased, and those in phase S increased. EGF at doses of 10 and 100 ng/ml could inhibit the cell proliferation significantly, and the apoptosis ratio in high dose of EGF group was higher than in control group. EGF could significantly induce a quick rise of intracellular free calcium, but the peak value of intracellular free calcium activated by high dose of EGF was higher than by low dose of EGF. It was suggested that EGF had a dual effect on gliomas: low dose of EGF could stimulate the cell proliferation of gliomas, but high dose of EGF could induce the cell apoptosis and inhibit the proliferation of gliomas, which might be contributed to the difference of intracellular free calcium.

C mutation. All 8 samples displayed the B(A) phenotype. Their real genotypes were B(A)/O. Conclusion Three B(A) alleles in the Chinese Han population were detected. Two alleles,B(A)700,B(A)640 were reported previously. One novel allele B(A)641, was first identified in this study.

Objective To investigate the expression of unfolded protein response (UPR) gene glucose regulated protein 78(GRP78) and X-box binding protein 1(XBP1) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, its effect on activation of the endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) and its mechanism in the growth of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods The expressions of GRP78 and XBP1 were detected by immunohistochemistry in 30 samples of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 30 samples of normal esophageal squamous epithelium. The correlation between expressions of both proteins and prognosis was analyzed. Results GRP78 positive rate was 83.3 %(25/30) in esophageal carcinoma, while the proportion was 20.0 %(6/30) in normal esophageal (χ2=25.833, P<0.05). XBP1 positive rate was 70.0 % (21/30) in esophageal carcinoma, while the proportion was 26.7%(8/30) in normal esophageal(χ2=20.872, P<0.05). The positive rates of GRP78 and XBP1 in invasive muscular layer of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were significantly higher than those in invasive mucous layer. Conclusion GRP78 and XBP1 are highly expressed in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, which may involve the occurrence and development of the esophageal carcinoma.
