Surgery,hypothermia,blood transfusion,pain,anxiety,the choice of anesthesia drugs and anesthetic techniques can affect the patient's immunolosical function.Especially for cancer patients,inhibition of the perioperative immunolosical function can make the residual tumor cell metastasis and recurrence,affecting long-term prognosis and reducing quality of life.Therefore,clinicians need to evaluate and improve immunolosical function in cancer patients by several aspects.
2.Importance of clinical microbiology laboratory in diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases

Clinical microbiology tests play an important role in the etiological diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, monitoring and alerting of nosocomial infection, rational use of drugs and drug sensitivity monitoring.Microbiology laboratory should strengthen the application and popularization of techniques for rapid diagnosis and point-of-care diagnosis, and intensify the quality control.With patients-oriented principle, microbiology laboratory should enhance the communications with clinicians to better serve the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.
3. Dtermination of tetramethylpyrazine in Curcuma aromatic Salisb at different storage time by HPLC

Objective: To establish a determining method for tetramethylpyrazine in Curcuma aromatic Salisb by high-perfomance liquid chromatography. Methods: Tetramethylpyrazine was extracted from Curcuma aromatic Salisb by methanol. Kromasil C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5μm) was used as stationary phase, methanol: 0.8 % sodium acetate solution (42∶58) was used as mobile phase, the flow rate was 1 ml/min and the wavelength of detection was at 282 nm. Results: The calibration curve showed good linearity within the concentration range of 220 ng, r=0.9999, and the average recovery was 99.56%, RSD=0.65%. Conclusion: The method is simple, quick and suitable for the determination of tetramethylpyrazine in Curcuma aromatic Salisb. No literature home and abroad has yet reported quality control of Curcuma aromatic Salisb by tetramethyl pyrazine.
4. Effect on the treatment of patients with occupational coal worker′s pneumoconiosis using multistep breathing training combined with acupoint plastering

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical effect of multistep breathing training combined with acupoint plastering on the treatment of patients with occupational coal worker's pneumoconiosis(CWP). METHODS: Eighty cases of male occupational CWP patients were selected as the research subject using convenient sampling method. They were divided into control group(40 cases) and treatment group(40 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was given conventional treatment, while the treatment group received multistep respiratory training combined with acupoint plastering for 12 weeks based on conventional symptomatic treatment. Before and after treatment, clinical curative effect, pulmonary function, immune function, the total score of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Assessment Test(CAT) Questionnaire and 6 minutes walk distance(6 MWDS) in two groups were observed. RESULTS: Before treatment, there was no statistical difference on forced vital capacity(FVC), ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV_1)/FVC, lymphocyte cluster of differentiation(CD) 4~+/CD8~+ ratio, percentage of natural killer cells(NK), total CAT scores and 6 MWD(P>0.05). After treatment, the FVC, FEV_1/FVC ratio and lymphocyte CD4~+/CD8~+ ratio increased [median: 78.3% vs 80.7%, 68.7% vs 72.5%, 1.16 vs 2.00, P<0.01], 6 MWD was increased [(430.6±45.9) vs(494.8±58.7) m, P<0.01], and CAT total score was decreased [(18.1±5.6) vs(15.5±5.3) points, P<0.01] in the treatment group compared with the control group. There was no significant difference in NK cell percentage between the two groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Multistep respiratory training combined with acupoint plastering can alleviate the clinical symptoms such as cough, and shortness of breath of patients with CWP, improve their lung function, regulate the function of immunity, as well as improve sports endurance.
5. Research on rationality of salt-processed composition of Buguzhi Pills through efficacy evaluation

Objective: To investigate the effects of Buguzhi Pills and three kinds of simulative Buguzhi Pills on diarrhea rats with spleen-kidney yang deficiency, and to confirm the rationality of the salt-processed composition of Buguzhi Pills. Methods: SD rats were randomly divided into nine groups: normal group, model group, positive drug group, salt-processed Psoraleae ructus group, raw Psoraleae Fructus group, Buguzhi Pills (salt-processed Psoraleae Fructus + salt-processed Foeniculi Fructus) group and three kinds of simulative Buguzhi Pills groups (salt-processed Psoraleae Fructus + raw Foeniculi Fructus; raw Psoraleae Fructus + salt-processed Foeniculi Fructus; raw Psoraleae Fructus + raw Foeniculi Fructus). A complex method of hydrocortisone and sennae folium was adopted to establish the diarrhea model due to spleen-kidney yang deficiency. After administration, the organ indexes of thymus, spleen, kidney, adrenal gland, and testis were measured; The pathological changes of corresponding organs were observed; The serum levels of motilin and testosterone were detected by ELISA. Results: Compared with the normal group, the food intake and body weight reduced; The organ indexes decreased in varying degrees; The above organs showed obvious pathological changes under the microscope; the level of motilin showed an upward trend, and the level of testosterone decreased significantly in model group. The above symptoms and indicators were improved in varying degrees after administration, and the effect of Buguzhi Pills was better than that of Psoraleae Fructus alone and three kinds of simulative Buguzhi Pills on the whole. Conclusion :The efficacy of Buguzhi Pills on warming kidney-spleen yang and relieving diarrhea was superior to that of Psoraleae Fructus alone, and the antidiarrheal effect can be enhanced by salt-processing.
6. Evaluation of different types of bitterness masking on inhibition of bitterness efficiency and law of four Chinese materia medicine decoctions of Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma, Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, Andrographis Herba, and Nelumbinis Plumula

Objective To investigate the effects and the law of anti bitterness efficiency of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) and other different types bitterness masking at different concentrations on the bitterness decoction of Chinese materia medica (BDCMM) by using the traditional human taste panel method (THTPM) and Electronic tongue (E-tongue). Methods Based on THTPM, the bitterness reduction value (ΔI), the correction rate of bitterness suppression (CRBS), and the correction rate of bitterness suppression potency index (PI50) were used as indicators to evaluate the bitterness suppression effect of four bitterness masking at different concentrations on BDCMM such as Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (SFR), and the relationship model between the concentrations of ΔI and bitterness masking was established to explore the bitterness suppression rule of bitterness masking on different BDCMM. Based on the E-tongue method, the E-tongue taste response information values of HP-β-CD and Acesulfame K to BDCMM such as SFR were measured at different concentrations, and the electronic tongue bitterness reduction value (ΔIe) was used as an index to explore the change rule of ΔIe with bitterness masking concentration. THTPM and E-tongue was combined to establish a prediction model of the effect of bitterness suppression. Results The ΔI, CRBS, and PI50 of four kinds of BDCMM with different concentrations of bitterness masking were measured, which can be used to compare the bitterness suppression effect of bitterness masking; The relation between ΔI and bitterness masking concentration accorded with Weibull curve model; Based on E-tongue, ΔIe was obtained, and the model of the relationship between ΔIe and bitterness masking concentration was established. The relationship between ΔIe and ΔI was established. The model determination coefficients of HP-β-CD for the two types of ΔIe of the two BDCMM were 0.986 1, 0.977 9, 0.989 0, and 0.982 0 respectively (P < 0.01, n = 6). Acesulfame had no response to the sensor and did not establish a model of bitterness suppression law. Conclusion Based on THTPM and E-tongue, a method for evaluating the bitterness suppression effect of bitterness masking on BDCMM was established. The bitterness suppression effect of bitterness masking on BDCMM such as SFR was studied by molecular inclusion, high-efficiency sweetening, and other bitterness suppression mechanisms were inverstigated.
7. Lignans from seeds of Lepidium apetalum

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the seeds of Lepidium apetalum. Methods Compounds were isolated from the water extract from the seeds of L. apetalum by using Diaion HP-20, Toyopearl HW-40, MCI Gel CHP-20, ODS, Silica gel chromatography and semi-preparative-HPLC. Results Nine compounds were isolated and identified as lepidiumlignan A (1), lepidiumlignan B (2), erythro-1-(4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3-methoxyphenyl)-2-[4-(3-hydroxypropyl)-2,6-dimethoxyphenoxy]-1,3- propanediol (3), (7R,7’E,8S)-4,9-dihydroxy-3,3’,5-trimethoxy-4’,7-epoxy-8,5’-neolign-7’-en-9’-oic acid (4), spicatolignan B (5), (-)-pinoresinol-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6), (-)-isolariciresinol (7), aegineoside (8), and (+)-syringaresinol-O-β-D-glucopyra- noside (9). Conclusion Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, named as lepidiumlignan A and lepidiumlignan B. Compounds 3-9 are isolated from the plants for the first time.
8. Analysis of transcriptome of Dioscorea zingiberensis and excavation of key enzyme genes of saponin biosynthesis

Objective To compare and analyze the transcriptome of rhizome and leaves of Dioscorea zingiberensis, and excavate the key enzyme genes related to the saponin biosynthetic pathway in D. zingiberensis. Methods The transcriptome of rhizome and leaves of D. zingiberensis were sequenced by Illumina HiSeq2000 high-throughput sequencing technique. According to sequence annotate results to find the differentially expressed genes. Then the key enzyme genes related to the biosynthesis of diosgenin were identified according to the content of saponins in rhizomes and leaves of D. zingiberensis. The expression levels of some candidate genes were analyzed by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR). Results A total of 81 660 Unigenes were gained and 64.33% of them were annotated in NT, NR, Swiss-Prot, KOG, GO, and KEGG databases. Based on their expression and KEGG annotation, totally 227 catalytic enzyme genes of 29 kinds that may participate in D. zingiberensis saponin biosynthetic pathway were screened. The expression pattern of some catalytic enzymes was correlated with the content of saponin. Also were found five D. zingiberensis endophyte genes. Conclusion This experiment obtained candidate key enzyme genes tentatively that involved in the biosynthesis of saponin. Some candidate enzyme genes may participate in the post-modification process of steroidal saponins in D. zingiberensis. In additon, it was found that D. zingiberensis endotrophic bacteria may be involved in the saponin biosynthesis. The results laid a foundation to further elucidate the molecular mechanism of sapogenin synthesis pathway.
9. Modern study on theory of "salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian"

"Salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian" is one of the basic theories to guide the processing of Chinese materia medica (CMM). In recent years, scholars have done a lot of research work on salt-processing, which has effectively promoted the scientific explanation of the theory. In this paper, recent researches of salt-processed CMM from the perspective of "salt-processing enhancing drug into kidney meridian" were reviewed. Based on the analysis of the existing problems, this review provides a new idea for the mechanism study of salt-processing.
10. Application of electronic tongue in pattern study about bitterness inhibition by hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin

Objective To study the bitterness inhibition law of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) concentration (C) on the bitter compounds and bitter Chinese herbal medicine, and to explore the application of electronic tongue in this study. Methods Berberine, oxymatrine, Sophora flavescens, and Andrographis paniculata decoction were used as bitterness vectors to establish two models of bitterness inhibition law about ΔI-C and ΔIe-C, and to explore the prediction model of bitterness inhibition effect about ΔI-ΔIe, based on the oral taste evaluation results (ΔI) and electronic tongue information (ΔIe). Then, fitting precision and fitting goodness of the prediction model were evaluated with cross-validation and residual analysis. Results In this study, good Weibull model of bitterness inhibition pattern about ΔI-C were established for all the four bitterness vectors, the decision coefficient R2 are as followed: 0.999 6, 0.987 9, 0.996 4, and 0.998 4 (P < 0.01); The decision coefficient R2 of six (two sensors per vector) models of bitterness inhibition law about ΔIe-C of berberine, S. flavescens, and A. paniculata decoctions were as followed: 0.996 5, 0.991 6, 0.997 3, 0.989 3, 0.999 6, and 0.999 1 (P < 0.01); The decision coefficient R2 of six corresponding linear prediction models of bitterness inhibition effect about ΔI-ΔIe were as followed: 0.989 1, 0.968 3, 0.989 0, 0.982 0, 0.977 9, and 0.986 1 (P < 0.01); The correlation coefficient R calculated by correlation coefficient of six prediction models above were as followed: 0.986 0, 0.997 3, 0.988 4, 0.960 8, 0.980 2, and 0.983 9 (P < 0.01); No model was established for oxymatrine within the range of tested concentration in this research, as it didn’t respond to the four sensors with varied concentration. Conclusion Based on this method, the bitterness inhibition law of HP-β-CD with changed concentration was obtained. Prediction models based on HP-β-CD concentration or electronic tongue data were also established, they can be used to predict the relative bitterness inhibition effect. Part of the bitter compounds didn't response to the electronic tongue regularly, remain further research and development of electronic tongue technology.
