Background: Primary duodenal lymphoma (PDL) is a rare extranodal malignant lymphoma. Till now, there are insufficient data regarding its clinical characteristics and prognosis. Aims: To analyze the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors of PDL based on SEER database. Methods: Patients diagnosed as PDL between 1975 and 2015 were evaluated via data collected from the SEER database. The demographic, clinical, pathological features and survival time were reviewed. Survival analysis was conducted by using Kaplan-Meier method. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were applied to identify the survival predictors. Results: A total of 1 659 patients with PDL were enrolled in the study. The median age was 64 years, and the median survival time was 40 months. The overwhelming majority of PDLs were B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas (B-NHL), of which, follicular lymphoma (36.0%) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL; 30.5%) accounting for approximately two thirds of the PDL patients. The 1-, 3-, 5-, and 10-year overall survival rates were 49.2%, 39.0%, 31.4%, and 13.8%, respectively. The prognosis of T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (T-NHL) had a worse survival than B-NHL, and the prognosis of DLBCL was the worst in B-NHL. In multivariate Cox regression analysis, male gender, old age (>65 years), divorced/widowed or unmarried, T-NHL, and advanced clinical stage were identified as the independent risk factors for poor overall and tumor-specific survival in PDL patients, while diagnosed after 1997 (rituximab launch date) was an independent protective factor (all P<0.05). Conclusions: The prognosis of PDL patients is independently correlated with the gender, age, marital status, time of diagnosis, as well as the tumor pathological type and clinical stage. Early diagnosis of DLBCL and T-NHL may prolong the survival time. Immunotherapy such as rituximab may also improve the survival.

Objective To investigate the status of dental caries of deciduous teeth among preschool children from private kin-dergarten in Chongqing city. Methods According to the criteria recommended by The Third National Oral Health Investigation, the deciduous caries of 2 713 preschool children aged 3 to 6 years from 40 private kindergartens in Yuzhong district were examined. The prevalence of dental caries and the mean dmft were calculated. The results were analyzed using SPSS21.0 software package. Results The prevalence of dental caries was 61.04%.The mean dmft score was 3.12,the filling rate was 0.4%.The caries preva-lence of 3-,4-,5-,6-year-old children were found to be 42.51%,59.53%,67.76% and 74.85%,and the mean dmft score were 2. 71,3.68,3.96 and 4.09.The prevalence of dental caries and mean dmft increased gradually as the children was statistically signifi-cant(P <0.05).The caries prevalence of male and female children were 61.65% and 60.41%,the mean dmft were 3.11 and 3.13, the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05).Conclusion Deciduous dental caries of preschool children from private kindergartens was an important problem in Chongqing city, and the filling rate was very low.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the status of deciduous dental caries among preschool children in Chongqing city and to compare the oral health status of preschoolers from public and private kindergarten.
METHODSAccording to the criteria recommended by The Third National Oral Health Investigation, the deciduous caries of 5 030 preschool children aged 3 to 6 years old from 40 private kindergartens and 16 public kindergartens in Yuzhong district of Chongqing were examined. The prevalence of dental caries and the mean dmft and filling rate were calculated. The results were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 software package.
RESULTSMaxillary deciduous central incisors and mandibular deciduous molar were most prone to decay in 5,030 children. The prevalence of dental caries was 54.08% (2,720/5,030). The mean dmft score was 2.58 and the filling rate was 0.98% (127/12,993). The prevalence of dental caries and mean dmft increased gradually as the children were growing up (P < 0.05). The rate of filling teeth of the 6 year old group was higher than other groups (P < 0.05). No significant difference between males and females were noted (P > 0.05). The prevalence rate of deciduous dental caries among private kindergartens was 61.04% (1,656/2,713), with a mean dmft of 3.12 and filling rate of 0.35% (30/8,465). The prevalence rate of deciduous dental caries among public kindergartens was 45.92% (1,064/2,317), with a mean dmft of 1.95 and filling rate of 2.14% (97/4,528). Statistical analysis revealed significant differences in the prevalence rate, mean dmft, and filling rate between two kinds of kindergarten (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONDeciduous dental caries of preschool children is an important problem in Chongqing city and the children from private kindergarten had very low filling rate.

D (A:the amount of water added. B: the alcohol concentration in the fluidextract of herbs. C: decoction time, D: decoction times). The optimum decoction condition obtained was: adding water (12 times as much as medicine), decocting twice 1.5 hours each time, merging the filtrate, concentrating the merged filtrate into extract with a relative density of 1.20 (measured at 85℃), then adding alcohol slowly, and making the concentration of alcohol in the fluidextract come to 80%. Conclusion: The optimized process is stable and feasible.

Objective To investigate the mental health status and its influencing factors among elderly hypertensive patients from Rural Areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan. Methods Multi-stage random sampling method was adopted to select elderly hypertensive patients from rural Yi ethnic areas in Yunnan.Questionnaires were used to collect their basic information and mental health status.Multivariate logistic regression was performed to explore the influencing factors of mental health among the elderly hypertensives. Results 21.82%(209/958)of elderly people with hypertension have poor mental health status in Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture,Yunnan.Age of 80-89 years(OR = 2.395,P<0.05)and over 90 years(OR = 3.293,P<0.05),as well as physical disability(OR = 2.037,P<0.05),were risk factors for poor mental health.Compared with those who rated their economic situation as very difficult, rating as somewhat difficult(OR = 0.490,P<0.05),moderate(OR = 0.632,P<0.05)and relatively affluent(OR = 0.344,P<0.05),having a spouse(OR = 0.655,P<0.05),received full concern from the offspring(OR = 0.411,P<0.05)and maintain good relationships with offspring(OR = 0.339,P<0.05)were protective factors. Conclusions The mental health status of elderly people with hypertension is relatively poor in rural areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province.Special attention should be paid to the mental health of older and physically disabled elderly hypertensives.Economic and mental support from children was crucially important in improving the mental health of elderly hypertensive patients in rural areas of Chuxiong and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province.
