International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(23):3447-3448
Objective To analyse status of peripheral blood leukemic cells detected by flow cytometry in patients with acute leu‐kemia(AL) ,and to provide references for evaluating clinical efficacy and prognosis of AL .Methods The peripheral blood specimens of 87 cases of patients with AL ,including 53 cases of patients with acute myelocytic leukemia and 34 cases of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia ,were detected by using flow cytometry ,morphological changes in bone marrow cells were detected ,as well . Results The sensitivity ,specificity and positive predictive value in determination of acute myelocytic leukemia was 95 .6% ,34 .5%and 81 .3% respectively ,and those in acute lymphoblastic leukemia was 87 .3% ,45 .6% and 68 .9% respectively ,statistically signif‐icant differences were found in sensitivity ,specificity and positive predictive value (P<0 .05) .A total of 19 cases with negative mini‐mal residual disease had recurrence(26 .31% ) after 24 months ,and 68 cases with positive minimal residual disease had recurrence (86 .76% ) after 24 months ,and the recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Among all pa‐tients with positive minimal residual disease ,the recurrence rate in patients with high expression level of minimal residual disease (88 .23% ) was higher than that in patients with low expression level of minimal residual disease (47 .09% ) ,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Flow cytometric analysis of peripheral blood leukemic cells may has significance for diagnosing relapse of AL and guiding clinical medication .
2.Association of lipoprotein particles with cardiovascular risk in diabetes
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(9):820-823
Type 2 diabetic patients are usually accompanied by dyslipidemia. The cardiovascular residual risk is still high in these patients, even with glycemia, blood pressure, and plasma lipids well controlled. In this review, the relationship of plasma lipids and changes in lipoprotein particles with cardiovascular risk is discussed.

In the teaching reform of genetics,we took the exploration of teaching reform mode in association with constructivism theory."One-center,both-balance,four-strategy combined"and combination of popularized education with elite education were the traits. The effects were favorable through the reform carried out both in theory teaching and experimental teaching.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 2021;24(5):387-390
Antenatal corticosteroid administration to women at risk of preterm delivery within 34 gestational weeks can effectively reduce the incidence of respiratory distress syndrome, intraventricular hemorrhage, and necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm infants. Due to concerns that antenatal corticosteroids may impair the development of the newborn's nervous system, there is a controversy regarding the use of antenatal corticosteroids in pregnant women ≥34 gestational weeks and those with complications. This article reviews the short- and long-term effects of antenatal corticosteroid administration on the nervous system of neonates born to women at different gestational ages and with comorbidities. More and higher-quality evidence is required for routine application of antenatal corticosteroids in pregnant women ≥34 gestational weeks.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of differentiating human umbilical cord blood stem cells into hepatocytes. Methods Thirty-six BALB/c nude mice were randomly divided into experimental group and control group(18 in each of the group), and experimental group was again randomly divided into group A, B and C (six in each of the group). The mice in experimental group and control group were exposed to 350 cGy radiation produced by 60Co. After 3 h, karyocytes at different concentrations in the fresh human umbilical cord blood were injected into the mice in experimental group A, B, C via their tail veins, and the equal volume of normal sodium (NS) was also injected into control group via tail veins. After one month, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) was injected into experimental group A, B and control group via abdominal cavity, and the equal volume of normal sodium was injected into experimental group C. After two months, immunohistochemistry and reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to detect the expressions of human cytokeratin-18 (CK18), cytokeratin-19 (CK19) and albumin (ALB) in liver tissues of all mice. Results The expressions of CK18, CK19 and ALB in injured liver tissues were all positive, and the expressions of experimental group B were higher than those of experimental group A (P

BACKGROUND:Adipose-derived stem cels under osteogenic induction can be combined with biodegradable silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite scaffold, which is expected to develop a new biocompatible and osteogenic bone fusion material. OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite composite on the viability and osteogenic properties of adipose-derived stem cels after osteogenic induction. METHODS:Adipose-derived stem cels were obtained from rat’s fat tissue, then adherently cultured, proliferated and passaged in vitro. Passage 3 cels were cultured in conditioned medium for osteogenic induction, and then seeded onto silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite scaffold as experimental group. Adipose-derived stem cels cultured on the cover glasses at the same condition acted as control group. The celular morphology, proliferation and differentiation were assessed respectively by means of phase contrast microscope, MTT assay and alkaline phosphatase activity measurement. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After osteogenic induction, adipose-derived stem cels could adhere to the scaffold material and proliferate on the surface of silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite scaffold normaly. No significant difference was found in cel proliferation and alkaline phosphatase activity between the experimental and control groups (P > 0.05), suggesting the celular activity and function were not affected by the material. These findings indicate that silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite composite material has good cytocompatibility. Objective To investigate the clinical significance of changes in lipids and apolipoproteins (Apo) in type 2 diabetic patients and their normoglycemic first-degree relatives (NFDR). Methods Triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), ApoAⅠ, ApoB_ 100 , ApoCⅢ and ApoE were determined in 62 type 2 diabetic patients and 67 NFDR from 29 Chinese type 2 diabetic pedigrees as well as 45 normoglycemic controls without family history of diabetes (NC) in Chengdu city, China. Results (1)TG level was higher in type 2 diabetic patients 〔(1.85?1.31)mmol/L〕 as compared with those in NFDR 〔(1.39?0.91)mmol/L〕 and NC 〔(0.92?0.45)mmol/L〕, and TG level in NFDR was higher as compared with that in NC (all P

Objective To explore the effect of surgical treatment of metastatic hepatic cancer. Methods Two hundred and eight patients with metastatic hepatic cancer received surgical treatment in our department during the past seven years, and their information were analyzed retrospectively in this paper. The ages of these patients ranged from 19 years to 82 years, and 133 of them were male, 75 of them were female. Two of them were complicated with hepatocirrhosis, and 5 with polycystic liver. The metastatic cancer originated from gastrointestinal tract in 121 cases (58.2%), and from other parts of the body in 87 cases (41.8%). One hundred and sixteen of the patients received resection treatment (resection group), and 92 of them received non-resecton treatment (non-resection group). The survival rates of the two groups were compared through Chi square test. Results The 1-, 3- and 5-year survival rates for all patients were 56.3%,23.1% and 13.0%, respectively. The 1-, 3- and 5-year survival rates were 74.1 %,39.7% and 23.3% in the resection group respectively and 33.7%, 2.2% and 0 in the non-resection group, respectively. Resection group had a higher survival rate than that of the non-resection group ( P
