Chronic lung disease (CLD) of prematurity is the major cause of long-term disability of extremely low birth weight ( ELBW ) premature infants, and it is the most cost consumptive disease in neonatal intensive care unit graduates.Vitamin A plays an important role in the development of premature lung. Nevertheless, premature infants are prone to vitamin A deficiency.Oral supplementation of vitamin A does not alter the incidence of CLD in ELBW infants.Intramuscular administration of vitamin A reduced the incidence of CLD.The treatment is considered painful and this way is not routinely practiced.Vitamin A is systemically bioavailable after intratracheal administration with surfactant in an animal model of newborn respiratory distress.

Objective To explore the application of thinprep cytology test thinprep cytologic test ( TCT) and the serum squa-mous cell carcinoma antigen ( SCC-Ag) measurement in the cervical lesions screening .Methods TCT and serum SCC-Ag measure-ment were performed in 58 patients with cervical lesions .Based on pathology diagnosis , specificity and sensitivity of these two screen-ing methods were calculated .Results Sensitivity and specificity of TCT detection were 75%and 65.8%, the sensitivity and specific-ity of SCC-Ag detection was 60%and 86.9%, respectively, and specificity of combined detection were 55%and 89.4%, respective-ly.There was statistical significance in TCT test and SCC-Ag test ( P <0.05 ) , the difference had statistical significance of combined detection of both with a single TCT to detect differences ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusions The combination of TCT and SCC-Ag detection can improve specificity and there was a certain clinical application value in the screening of cervical lesions .

Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic multisystem disorder that has an impact on many organ systems.It is a common neurocutaneous syndrome in children, the main clinical manifestations characterized by impairment of skin and nervous system.The most frequent neurological symptoms are seizures,which occur in up to 90％ of patients and often are intractable,followed by autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disability, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, and sleep, et al.Conventional treatment has frequently proven insufficient for neurological and behavioral symptoms, particularly seizure control.Currently, there are many studies focus on the mechanism-based treatment in TSC.Therefore, this review will focus on the genetic mechanism of TSC, further exploring personalized medicine and prognosis for TSC shows good prospects.

[Summary] With the rapid development of endoscopic thyroidectomy for its advantages of hidden incision and good cosmetic effects, it becomes a significant issue to reduce surgical adverse effects.Recurrent laryngeal nerve ( RLN) injury is among the most important complications and is paid much attention to by clinical researchers.Reasons leading to RLN injury include accidental injury, ligation and intraoperative blood loss. An appropriate way to expose RLN, skilled operation performance, precise anatomy, individualized operation scheme and intraoperative neuromonitoring can prevent RLN injury.

Objective To explore the effect of different arch forms of maxillary models on stress distribution of peri-implant of All-on-4 implants with 3-dimensional finite element, and to provide evidence for the improvement of implant achievement ratio in clinic. Methods 3-dimensional finite element analysis models of Tapered,Square and Ovoid arch form maxillary based on the MBTTM Arch Form Templates were constructed by using Solidworks software.The cortical bone thickness was defined as 2 mm at all points.The implants with 13 mm in length were inserted between the mental foramina.The 2 posterior implants were set at 4 inclination angle,from 0°to 45°.All implants were splinted with superstructure.A 100 N pressure was applied to 2 kinds of loading positions on the superstructure models. The maximum Von-Mises stress on cortical bone around the implants was measured by using Abaqus software.Results The maximum Von-Mises value in maxillary cortical bone with All-on-4 implants in 3 arch forms showed significant differences. In Square model the concentration of stress was advanced with the increasing of implant inclination angle;In Ovoid model, the maximum Von-Mises value was observed at 1 5°in posterior region,and was increased significantly by pasted 15°in anterior region;In Tapered model,the Maximum Von-Mises value was increased greatly at 45°. Conclusion Arch forms have appreciable impact on stress distribution of peri-implant.In Square arch form,the inclination of implant should be avoided;in Ovoid arch form, the inclination angle should be under 15°;in Tapered arch form,the inclination should be under 30°.

Objective To explore the clinical application value of whole-brain CTA-CTP imaging in cerebral arteriovenous malformation (cAVM).Methods Fifteen patients diagnosed with cAVM by CTA-CTP imaging were included in this retrospective analysis study. The angioarchitecture of cAVM lesions were recorded from 4D-CTA images.Using DSA as the golden standard,the diagnostic accuracy of 4D-CTA was evaluated in 13 cases.The perfusion patterns of vessel nidus and peritumoral tissues were analyzed from the CTP images.Bleeding ratios of patients with different angioarchitecture and perfusion patterns were compared.Results 4D-CTA could dynamically display the angioarchitecture details of cAVM lesions and show the whole process of the contrast agent in and out of the vessel nidus.Although the result of 4D-CTA was consistent with that of DSA in most cases,a few fine feeding arteries and draining veins were missed.The nidus in thirteen cases was with high perfusion and the peritumoral tissues were with low perfusion.Another two cases were with low perfusion due to the presence of hematoma.Nine cAVMs suffered from small size,single feeding artery,deep venous drainage and vessel nidus with increased MTT,peritumoral tissues with decreased MTT were more likely to suffer a hemorrhage (P<0.05).Conclusion Whole-brain CTA-CTP imaging could be a valuable adjunct in noninvasive diagnosis of cAVM and predicting the bleeding risk factors.

Objective]To summarize and promote Professor Zhou Enchao’s experience in the treatment of chronic renal failure especially the usage of herbal pairs.[Methods] Illustrate Professor’s medication experience in the treatment of chronic renal failure and summarize the herbal pairs that he commonly used by the methods of learning from his daily treatment in inpatient and outpatient department, arranging medical cases records of chronic renal failure, reading relative books and articles, recognition from the study of ancient classics, modern phamocological research and Professor’s own academic opinion etc. [Results]In Professor’s treatment of chronic renal failure, besides protecting the Zheng Qi(anti-pathogenic Qi), he emphasizes the methods of detoxification and promotion of the discharging of toxin which is in feature of the treatment by herbal pairs. In his experience, there are coincidence, supplement and prevention in the function between the pairs of herbs when using them together. The commonly used herbal pairs include the pair of Su Ye and Huang Lian with the function of resolving dampness and detoxificaion, the pair of Ban Zhilian and BaiHua She She Cao with the function of clearing away heat and detoxification, the pair of Tu Fu Ling and Liu YueXue with the function of reducing and discharging the turbid fluid and toxin, the pair of TuBie Chong and Tao Ren with the function of breaking the hard blood stasis and detoxification, the pair of Mu Li and Da Huang with the function of resolving the phlegm and activating and discharging blood stasis, the pair of Hei Da Dou and Wan Can Sha with the function of detoxifying the wind-toxin, the pair of Yin Chen and Shi Xiao San with the function of resolving damping, clearing away heat. Objective: To observe the effect of Wei Chang An recipe on the survival and metastasis rate of the gastric cancer patients during post-operative period. Methods: A prospective randomized, controlled study was conducted by dividing the 95 patients with advanced gastric cancer into three groups: TCM group, western medicine group, and combined therapy group. The survival and the metastasis rate of the patients were observed. Results: The 3-and 5-year survival rate was 75.9% and 62.8% in the combined therapy group, respectively. They were significantly higher than those in the western medicine group (52.8% and 26.4%, P < 0. 05). The 5-year metastasis rate was 27.78% and 29.41% in the TCM group and the combined therapy group, which were significantly lower than that in the Western medicine group (56%, P <0.05). The 5-year metastasis rate had no significant difference between the TCM group and combined therapy group (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The Wei Chang An recipe combined with western medicine significantly increased the survival rate of gastric cancer patients during post-operative period. Wei Chang An recipe remarkably decreases the postoperative metastasis rate.
