Objective To study the influence of aldehydes and tannic acid on soft capsules, approach how to prevent soft capsules from delayed disintegration. Methods Add aldehydes and tannic acid to soft capsules material ingredient, to proceed accelerating stability trial and test the disintegration time. Result Little increase of aldehydes amount had great effect on the disintegration time of soft capsules, different aldehydes and tannic acid had different effect on the disintegration time, adding some organic acid such as fumaric acid to the material would improve disintegrating property. Conclusion The amount of aldehydes and tannic acid contained in the material and ingredient should be controlled strictly when prepare soft capsules so that the disintegration time of capsules could be complying with the Pharmacopeia.

To observe the germistatic and germicidal effects of origanum volatile oil (OVI) on the dysentery bacteria, the abdominal cavity of mice was infected with Shigella sonne (Sh. sonnei) and Shigella flexneri (Sh. flexneri) F2a. After OVI was given to the mice via gastric lavage, the effects of OVI on the infected mice were observed. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) for dysentery bacteria were determined in vitro. The results showed that origanum volatile oil showed obvious protective effect on mice infected with Sh. sonnei and Sh. flexneri F2a and it had germistatic and germicidal effects on dysentry bacteria. We are led to conclude that origanum volatile oil is an effective medicine against the infection of dysentery bacteria.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(15):2035-2036
Objective To study the clinical features of aged patients with sudden cardiac death(SCD) for improving the resuscitation rate. Methods Hie usual etiology of SCD,electrocardiogram(ECG),echocardiography, dynamic electrocardiography(DCG), X-ray and electrolytes were analyzed. Results Most sudden death had inducement. Electrolytes disorder, ventricular ectopic beats, high grade atrioventricular block, auxocardia, left ventricular hypertrophy, cardiac insufficiency and myocardial ischemia could cause serious arrhythmias (.all P <0.05). Conclusion It could be related to heart functional class, left ventricular enlargement, myocardial ischemia, hypokalemia in aged patients with SCD.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(11):2395-2399
To optimize the extraction technology of the total saponins in Dipsaci Radix, the extraction efficiency of total saponins was investigated with respecting to three variables including time, ethanol concentration and liquid-to-solid ratio. On the basis of a series of one-factor-at-a-time experiments, a polynomial regression model equation was fitted by the combined use of central composite experimental design and regression analysis. By analyzing the regression model using response surface analysis, the optimum extraction conditions of total saponins from Dipsaci Radix were identified as follows: 7 times of 55% alcohol, refluxing 3 times, 2.8 hours every time, and the extraction efficiency of total saponins was up to 0.201 1 g·g-1 and the asperosaponin Ⅵ was up to 0.015 4 g·g-1 under the optimized conditions. Confirmatory experiment indicated the good prediction ability of the established model and provided the basis for further development and utilization of Dipsaci Radix.

China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(01):-
Objective: To obtain the optimum prescription of the rhubarb lactobacillin dispersible tablets. Methods: The kind and amount of the excipient were investigated by using the disintegrating time to establish the optimum prescription and preparation process. Results: The tablets were prepared by compressing moist granulation with the PVPP and CMS-Na as the disintegrant,MCC as diluent, sodium alginate as sweller, magnesium stearate as lubricant and 80% alcohol as adhesive agent. The preparation complied with the requirement of Pharmacopeia of the People's Republic of China(2005edition).Conclusion: This prescription of the tablet is reasonable and the preparation process is feasible.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Levofloxacin and triamcinolone acetonide double-loaded ophthalmic gel. METHODS:Us-ing levofloxacin hydrochloride and triamcinolone acetonide as main components,carbopol-940P as base material,HPMC K4M as tackifier,Levofloxacin and triamcinolone acetonide double-loaded ophthalmic gel was prepared. Using dissolution time as index, the contents of carbopol-940P and HPMC K4M were determined by single factor test, and dissolution time, viscosity and the con-tents of 2 main components were also determined. RESULTS:The concentrations of carbopol-940P and HPMC K4M were 0.4%and 1.2%,separately. The dissolution time was more than 24 h and viscosity was 1 142.67 Pa·s. The content of levofloxacin hydro-chloride was 97.3% of labelled amount (RSD=0.84%,n=3),and that of triamcinolone acetonide was 92.97% of labelled amount(RSD=1.32%,n=3). CONCLUSIONS:Levofloxacin and triamcinolone acetonide double-loaded ophthalmic gel has been prepared successfully.

Objective To optimize spray drying process of Anshen bumian granules. Methods By using orthogonal design method, moisture content, powder rate and berberine hydrochloride content were indexes, and optimum technological conditions were determined. Results Proportion of microcrystalline cellulose, lactose and maltodextrin was 2??1??2. The extract was fed in at 6%. Optimum feeding in/out temperature for spray drying is 145 ℃ /85 ℃, liquid velocity was 30 mL??min-1 , and relative density of extract was 1. 15. Conclusion The process is reasonable and practical, has strong stability and good controllability, and it provides a basis for industrialized production.
