Aim: To investigate the chemical components in Zhizidahuang decoction( ZZDHD) to reveal the possible material therapeutic basis. Methods: High performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detector and tandem mass spectrometry ( HPLC-PDA-MS/MS) was applied to simultaneously characterize the chemical components and their structures in ZZDHD. The analysis was preformed on a Lichrospher C_(18) column using a binary eluent of 0. 1% acetic acid( A) and methanol( B) mixed under the gradient mode; UV spectra were scaned from 210 nm to 480 nm; negative ESI experiments in data-dependent scan mode were performed. Results: HPLC-PDA-MS/MS chromatogram of ZZDHD was achieved. Based on UV spectral data, information of molecular weight and mass fragmentation behaviors connected with extracted ion current( EIC) chromatogram, twenty kinds of components were detected and identified, including flavonoids, anthraquinones, iridoids and other constituents. Conclusion: The method presented in this study, which combined HPLC with UV and MS, allowes the characterization of compounds in the complex herbal system even without the reference standards.

Objective To evaluate the treament of central retinal artery occlusion by thrombolysis infusion via super selective ophthalmic artery catheterization.Design Retrospective,observational case series.Participants 21 eyes of 21 patients with CRAO. Methods 21 patients with CRAO were diagnosed by stereoscopic color fundus photography and flouorescein fundus angiography, and were treated by urokinase infusion via super select ophthalmic artery catheterization seldinger technique.Main Outcome Measures Visual acuity and the postoperative complications.Results In the 21 patients,10 had showed the occlusion of ophthalmic arterial trunk by super selective internal carotid artery angiography,the others can be found the appearance of ophthalmic arterial trunk and all patients had undergone thrombolysis therapy successfully.Imaging times of central retinal artery before and after thrombolysis infusion treatment are 38.18?10.86 seconds,12.65?3.30 seconds(t=-11.89,P=0.000).Mean foflow-up time is 3.23?1.26 months.After the treatment,the visual acuity was more than 0.25 in 4 patients,improved to different extent in 9 and remained unchanged in 8. Conclusions Super selective arterial catheterization with thrombolysis for CRAO can improve the visual acuity of the patients,a speedy execution of all internal,neurological,and ophthalmology diagnostic measures;and a prompt therapy are necessary.

Background Aheration of eyeball wall caused by ocular axial extension is associated with multiple complications of high myopia.However,the study on quantitative analysis of choroidal thickness and axial length in adult high myopic patients is less.Objective This study was to investigate the choroidal thickness in high myopic eyes of adult patients and estimate the correlation of choroidal thickness with axial length,age,and spherical equivalent(SE).Methods A prospective cohort study was designed.Seventy-five eyes of 75 adult patients with high myopia were entrolled from December 2012 to May 2013,and 70 eyes of 70 age-and gendermatched healthy volunteers were included in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University.Enhanced depth imaging (EDI)on Cirrus spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) was used to measure the choroidal thickness from the outer border of the retinal pigment epithelium through the inner scleral boarder among the 11 meridians in a 500 μm intervals and range of 2 500 μm for each from fovea toward temporal and nasal lateral.The differences of choroidal thickness and axial length were compared between the high myopia group and normal control group,and the correlation of choroidal thickness with axial length,age,SE were analyzed.Results The subfoveal and mean choroidal thickness values were (146±52) μm and (142±63) μm in the high myopia group,and those in the normal control group were (306±60) μm and (271 ±71) μm,with significant differences between the two groups (t =-17.130,P=0.000; t=-15.890,P=0.000).Choroid was thickest in the temporal and then was subfovea and nasal in the high myopia group,but in the normal control group,it was subfovea,temporal and nasal in turn,and the choroidal thicknesses in various areas were thinner in the high myopia group than those in the normal control group.A negative correlation was found between the choroidal thickness and axial length in high myopia group(r =-0.580,P =0.000),and the regression equation determined a decrease of 17.943 μm per millimeter of axial length.Conclusions SD-OCT determines that choroidal thickness is decreased in highly myopic eyes compared with normal eyes.Choroidal thickness varies with the change of axial length in adult high myopia patient.These findings indicate that abnormalities of the choroids may play a role in the pathogenesis of complication of high myopia.

Objective The correlation and agreement of mycophenolic acid (MPA) plasma concentrations that detected by enzyme extended immunoassay (EMIT) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) were studied using Pearson's correlation and Bland-Altman plots.METHODS 435 plasma samples were collected from 95 renal transplant patients who were treated with MPA from October 2014 to December 2015.The MPA plasma concentrations were simultaneously measured by EMIT and HPLC respectively,and the results were divided into two levels.Paired t test and Pearson's correlation were performed using SPSS13.0 to evaluate the relationships between the results in each level.The Bland-Altman plot was used to assess the agreement of the results of two methods.Results Higher concentrations were obtained with EMIT,there was a significant positive bias of EMIT for MPA(20.94％ ±14.42 ％,P＜0.001).Pearson's correlation analysis and Bland-Altman analysis showed that the results from different methods presented good correlation (r＞0.98) and agreement.Conclusion The results of EMIT were higher than that of HPLC.There were good correlation and agreement between the two methods.The differences between EMIT and HPLC suggest that different therapeutic window should be set up when the two methods are used for MPA therapeutic drug monitoring.

Objective To analyze the chromosome karyotypes,prenatal diagnosis indications and pregnancy outcomes of high-risk pregnant women in Guangzhou.Methods 2 475 cases pregnant women with screening high risk were operated amniocen-tesis or cordocentesis from January 2010 to September 2012,then amniotic fluids and cord bloods were cultured and the cell were collected for chromosome preparation,G banding,karyotype analysis.We completed follow-up works lastly.Results 38 cases were detected chromosomal abnormality(including 12 cases Down′s syndrome,9 cases sex chromosome abnormality,7 cases transloca-tion,5 cases Edwards′syndrome,2 cases inversion,2 cases deletion,1 cases triploid),the abnormal rate was 1.54%.132 cases were detected chromosomal polymorphism(60 cases 1,9,16qh+ ,30 cases inv(9),25 cases D/Gs+ ,17 cases Y polymorphism).Research on prenatal diagnosis indications,there were 449 cases advanced age,668 cases Down′s screening with high risk,158 cases with ab-normal B ultrasound screening,38 cases with adverse pregnancy history.Conclusion The highest percentage abnormal karyotype is Down′s syndrome.Down′s screening high risk is the main reason for prenatal diagnosis.It is very important to do prenatal diagnos-tic and system B ultrasound for the high-risk pregnant women.

To study the related substances in nicergoline, electrospray positive ionization high resolution TOF/MS was used for the determination of the accurate mass and elemental composition of the related substances. Triple quadrupoles tandem MS/MS was employed for the determination of the fragmentations of the parent ions. 16 related substances were detected and identified to be eight synthetic by-products and eight degradation products, by using impurity references matching, product mass spectra fragmentations elucidation, and verified further according to synthetic processes and stress testing results. The results obtained are valuable for nicergoline manufacturing process control and quality assurance.
