Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(1):77-80
Pulmonary valve stenosis (PS) is a relatively common congenital heart disease, and there are 2 treatment methods of surgical operation and intervention.Percutaneous balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty (PBPV) was applied successfully in children with PS for the first time by Kan.For more than 30 years, with the update of intervention equipment, improvement of operation method and accumulation of clinical experience, the application of PBPV continuously has made new progress. Most of the previous reports of the PBPV were for the immediate and short-term efficacy, while long-term follow-up data and some special types of PS review research were less. Now,combined with PBPV clinical data and long-term follow-up study in recent years,an overview of the application progress of PBPV including indications, methods, curative effect and follow-up,prevention and cure of complications and some special type of PS are provided.

5. Detection and identification of high producing huperzine A by an endophytic fungus from Huperzia serrata
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2016;43(6):1112-1116
Objective To screen endophytic fungal strains isolated from wild Huperzia serrata which can highly produce huperzine A. Methods The strain producing huperzine A was identified through thin layer chromatography (TLC) and high- performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) with authentic huperzine A. The fungus was identified according to its morphological characteristics and nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS sequence. Results The strain was identified as Fusarium oxysporum NSG-1 according to its morphological characteristics and nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS sequence. The amount of huperzine A produced by the fermentation liquor of this endophytic fungus was quantified to be 1.11 mg/100 ml by HPLC, which was higher than that of previously reported endophytic fungi. Conclusion Endophytic fungus producing high huperzine A can be obtained from H. serrata. The production of huperzine A based on mutagenesis and transformation of the obtained strain may adapt to the industry production.
6. Preparation of sinomenine hydrochloride loaded nano flexible liposomes and their characteristics
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2011;42(4):671-675
Objective: To study the preparation of sinomenine hydrochloride (SH) loaded nano flexible liposomes and investigate the mechanism of the flexible liposomes for enhanced in vitro transdermal drug delivery. Methods: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes were prepared by film dispersion method, and the effects of concentration of phosphatidylcholine (PSC), cholesterol (CH), and propyleneglycol (PG) on the entrapment efficiency of SH were also investigated. The SH content was determined by HPLC. The physical property was evaluated by the atomic force microscope (AFM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and photon correlation spectrometer (PCS). The side-by-side diffusion cells were used to evaluate transdermal delivery of SH by nano flexible liposomes. At the end of the transdermal experiment, the treated skin was carefully observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes were prepared by film dispersion method with the PSC (3%), CH (0.02%), and PG (25%); The SH entrapment efficiency was (66±2.3)%. The prepared nano flexible liposomes had a closed spherical or elliptical shape showed by AFM images, the TEM images appeared as multi-lamellar vesicles. The calculated mean size was (170±26) nm, the zeta potential values of -(43±3.4) mV. The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes caused the structure of stratum corneum (SC) layer disturbed and disordered the intercorneocyte domain wider, this increased the skin permeability of drug. Conclusion: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes are obviously resulted in a remarkable enhancement of the SH transdermal drug delivery, which could act as a new nanodimensional vehicle for transdermal delivery of SH.

Artificial intelligence has been widely used in diabetes care. This article reviews summarizes the research of artificial intelligence in diabetes care from the theoretical basis of artificial intelligence intervention, intervention mode and influence on patients in order to provide reference for future clinical research in diabetes care.
8. Emerging and re-emerging zoonoses is a persistent challenges for human health
China Tropical Medicine 2022;22(10):895-
Zoonoses are a class of infectious diseases that are transmitted from animals to humans. More than 200 known types of zoonoses have been reported across the world until now. Among 1 400 pathogens of human infectious diseases, approximately 61% are zoonotic origin, and 75% human emerging infectious diseases are zoonoses. These zoonoses pose a great threat to human and animal health and decrease livestock production. To effectively tackle the persistent challenges resulting from zoonoses, WHO collaborates with member governments, academia, non-governmental and charitable organizations, and regional and international partners to prevent and manage zoonotic threats and their public health, social and economic impacts. Although great success has been achieved in the management of zoonoses, there are still multiple challenges for zoonoses control in China due to environmental, climate, socioeconomic factors and antimicrobial resistance. Based on the One Health concept, the integration of modern biological, information, artificial intelligent and big data tools through multidisciplinary and multi-sectorial collaborations may facilitate the containment and elimination of zoonoses.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2012;11(8):603-604
We sought to determine the efficacy of ramosetron in the prevention of nausea and vomiting during emergency cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia with strict controls of causative factors.A total of 206 parturients participated in a randomized,single-blind and placebo-controlled trial. They received an intravenous injection of either ramosetron 0.3 mg or normal saline immediately after cord clamping. The primary outcome was the presence of postdelivery nausea and vomiting.Secondary outcomes included the need for rescue antiemetic, hypotension, pain and adverse effects. The incidence of postdelivery nausea and vomiting was 10.7% in the ramosetron group vs.28.2% in the control group (P < 0.01 ).The incidence of intraoperative hypotension and postdelivery was similar in both groups. The incidence of postdelivery pain and the requirement for rescue antiemetic were similar in both groups.Ramosetron 0.3 mg is effective in the prevention of postdelivery nausea and vomiting during cesarean delivery.

Acta Laboratorium Animalis Scientia Sinica 2009;17(6):415-418
Objective To study the effect of restraint and watered stress of different durations on the gastric empting in rats. Methods 48 male SD rats (weight ±150 g) were divided randomly into 6 groups with 8 in each. The experimental rats were restrained and watered in 23℃ water box for 1 h/d, while the controls were free. The body weight, general conditions and behavioral indexes of the rats were observed and recorded. The gastric empting rate was measured in rats with semi-solid diet after 3 d,7 d and 28 d during the statistically significant differences among different groups of different stress groups, and between the 3 d test group and 3 d control group. The gastric empting rate was higer in the 7-day test than in 7 d controlled group, lower in the 28 d test group than 28 d control group. Conclusion Different chronic stress can cause changes of gastric empting rate. With the prolonging of stress time, the empting rate is rising and then decending.
