1.Analysis of related factors for infections in children with leukemia after chemotherapy

Objective To explore the factors associated with infections in children with leukemia after chem-otherapy. Methods Clinical data of fifty-six children with leukemia, who infected after chemotherapy were reviewed with infection characteristics and some related factors. Results The infection rates were 27% in upper airway,37% in lower upper airway,12% in oral cavity,5% in gastrointestinal tract,3% in perianal abscess,7% in urinary sys-tem,5% in scpficaemia and 2% in ofitis media. Most infection happened from five to ten days after chemotherapy,and the infection rates varied with chemotherapy scheme. The persistence time of infection were (8.5±2.2) days in the children with the numbers of neutrophil below 0.5×109/L and (3.5±1.4) days in those above 0.5×109/L with significant difference(P <0.01). Conclusions After chemotherapy,the children had more chances to be infected. To be more exact, the /nfection was more common observed in respiratory tract, next in gastrointestinal tract. And the stronger the medicine used the number of heterophil granulocyte dropped much more ,the infection happened more easily.
2.The effect of TGF-?_1 on expression of paxillin in human renal proximal tubular epithelial cell line

Objective To explore the effect of transforming growth factor ?_1 (TGF-?_1) on expression of paxillin(Pax) in human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HKC cells) in different phases. Methods HKC cells cultured in vitro were divided into four groups at random. Control group(C group): HKC cells were cultured with serum free medium (FSM), and TGF-?_1-treated groups (T1, T2, T3 group): HKC cells were cultured with FSM containing 10ng/ml TGF-?_1. In the latter groups, duration of treatment varied as follows: T1 group for 24h, T2 group for 48h, T3 group for 72h. The proliferation of HKC cells induced by TGF-?_1 was assessed by MTT and the expression of Pax was determined. The gene expression of Pax was determined by reverse transcripton polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and the protein expression of Pax was assessed by immunohistochemical staining and Western blot. Results TGF-?_1 could induce the proliferation of HKC cells in a time-dependent manner. In C group there was expression of Pax mRNA and protein in HKC cells. Objective To investigate the expression of Paxillin (Pax) in human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HKC) induced by transforming growth factor ?1(TGF?1). 5.Introduction of New-Type Intravenous Indwelling Needle

Objective To design an intravenous indwelling needle in battle field aid.Methods Several concavity were made on the hollow tube inner surface posterior puncture needle case,and some corresponding convexity uplifted peripheral needle handle pistons posterior puncture needle core.Revolution could be avoided because the needle handle pistons were just embedded in hollow tube concavity.It was convenient to operate and decreased the operator's orientation transformation by the needle's handhold vane adopting rectangle instead of butterfly shape.Results The improved puncture needle was stable and the rate of success of intravenous puncture was increased.Conclusion The improved venous retaining needle can be applied in battle field aid.
6.Clinical Effect of Pijiling Liniment for Seborrheic Dermatosis

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Pijiling Liniment for seborrheic dermatosis on 327 cases. Methods:327 patients with seborrheic dermatosis were treated with Pijiling Liniment. The clinical effects were compared with that of the control group(Co.Resorcinol Ointment, 76 cases). Results:The total effective rate and curative rate of the treatment group for seborrheic dermatitis were 93.5% and 33.3%, respectively. The effective rate for acne was 80.6% and for dermatomycosis microsporina was 7.5%. The total effective rate and curative rate of the control group were 92.1% and 2.6 %, respectively. Conclusions:There is a significant difference in the curative rate between two groups( P 0.05) through x 2 test.
7.Effect of Guizhi Fuling pills on levels of serum MAPK, ERK and VEGF in patients with endometriosis

Objective To investigate the effect of Guizhi Fuling pills on levels of serum MAPK, ERK and VEGF in patients with endometriosis. Methods 60 patients with endometriosis were selected and according to the random control table were divided into the experiment group and the control group, 30 cases each.The control group were treated with conventional acetate goserelin sustained-release implantation agent subcutaneous injection, the experiment group were treated by Guizhi Fuling pill treatment.After treatment, the clinical efficacy, serum MAPK, ERK-5, VEGF, ERK, T-cad and VE-cad levels of the patients were compared.Results Compared with the control group, the clinical total effective rate was higher in the experiment group (P<0.05);MAPK and ERK-5 levels in serum were lower (P<0.05), ERK level in serum was lower(P<0.05);T-cad and VE-cad levels in serum were lower(P<0.05);VEGF level in serum was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Guizhi Fuling pill can block the cell signal transduction pathway through inhibition of MEK and ERK activity, thereby inhibit abnormal endometrial proliferation and cell division cycle, can effectively inhibit the proliferation and differentiation of the tumor.
8.Semi-quantitative analysis of MCT1 and MCT2 genes mRNA expression in human hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective To study the mRNA expression of MCT1 and MCT2 genes in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and paracarcinoma liver tissue (PCLT). Methods The semi-quantitative analysis of MCT1 and MCT2 genes mRNA expression in human HCC and PCLT was conducted by RT-PCR method and electrophoresis band opacity density (OD) comparison analysis method in 25 patients with HCC. Results The mRNA expression of MCT1 was significantly higher than MCT2 in HCC and PCLT, in HCC the mRNA expression of MCT1 and MCT2 genes were significant higher than that in PCLT. Conclusions The high expression of mRNA of MCT1 and MCT2 genes in HCC indicates that these genes may take a significant role on lactate and other monocarboxylate transmembrane transportation and on pH regulation in tumor cells.
9.Suppression mechanism of Maytansine in proliferation, migration and invasion of NPC cell lines: a bioinformatics analysis

Objective To investigate the suppressive effects of Maytansine on the proliferation,migration and invasion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) cells.Methods MTT assay was employed to study the effect of Maytansine on the viability of 5-8F and SUNE1 cell lines.Wound healing assays and transwell were used to assess the effects of Maytansine on the migration and invasion capacities of NPC cells.Furthermore,an integrated bioinformatics analysis was conducted to clarify the potential mechanisms of Maytansine.Results Time course analysis of Maytansine treated NPC cells indicated significant decrease in cell viability,assessed by MTT.Furthermore,we identified that Maytansine reduced the migration and invasion capacities of NPC cells.Moreover,bioinformatics analysis showed that Maytansine suppressed the proliferation,migration and invasion via the upregulation of CDKN1B,BMP2,HBEGF,SMAD6,ADM,VEGFA,CTGF and IL6 in NPC cells.Conclusion Maytansine plays a significant suppressive role in the proliferation,migration and invasion of NPC cells and may be explored further for its potential therapeutic effects on NPC in humans.

The involvement of oxidization of peroxid in the antigen-antibody reaction makes the cell membrane permeability enhanced, so the fluorescence-labeled antibody stain can infiltrate into the cell easily and contact the antigen rapidly and diffusely, and then the antigen-antibody crosslinking can be formed efficiently. With the enhanced staining efficiency, shortened test duration, simplified operation, increased positive detection rate and accuracy, the new technology lays a foundation of clinical definite, curative effect view and prognosis.
