Objective The polysaccharides sulfate were extracted from three kinds of algae in-cluding porphyra tenera , Laminaria ja ponica and Sargassum fusi forme ( Harv. )Setch . in order to screen antioxidant with exploiting potential. Methods Using the assay system of DP-PH,the antioxidative activities of various extracts were studied. Results Three kinds of algae polysaccharides sulfate had different antioxidative activities. Moreover, polysaccharide extracted with different solvents had different intensities of antioxidative activity. Conclusion Polysacchride sulfate extracted with water has stronger antioxidative activity than that with others.keywolds antioxidation; porphyra tenera kjellm. ; Laminaria japonica; Sargassum fusi -forme ( Harv. )Setch.Studies on the extraction of polysaccharides sulfate from three algae and their scavenging activity on free radicalsHAN Hua,ZHOU Hai Yan,LIU Cheng-Chu,WANG Chun-bo(1.Bromatology Institute of Shanhai Aquatic University , Shanghai 200090, China; 2. Objective The antioxidative activities of extracts from Undaria pinnatifida in vitrowere tested. Methods Using the assay system of peroxide value (POV), diphenyl picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH), the antioxidative activities of various extracts were studied and comparedwith VE and VC. Results Different extracts from Undaria pinnatifida showed antioxidativeactivities, and petroleum ether extract showed the highest free radical scavenging efficiency. Conclusion petroleum ether extract has stronger antioxidative effect than others.

Objective To observe the effect of multiple interventions on secondary epilepsy patients. Methods 114 secondary epilepsy patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and control group with 57 cases in each group. The cases in the intervention group received multiple interventions including heath education, psychological treatment, safety nursing, overdose administration, early rehabilitation, discharge guide and so on besides usual nursing. While, the cases in the control group received usual nursing. The follow-up was performed for 6 months and the therapeutic efficacy of two groups was compared. Results After multiple interventions, the seizure frequency and trauma incidence rate decreased, compliance and quality of life increased in patients of the intervention group, and there was a significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Multiple interventions can decrease seizure frequency and increase compliance of treatment and quality of life of secondary epilepsy patients.

Objective To study the new triterpene glycosides from sea cucumber Holothuria scabra with cytotoxic activity. Methods Triterpene glycosides from H.scabra were separated and purified by chromatography on DA-101,silica gel,and reversed-phase silica gel column,as well as RP-HPLC.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data and chemical evidence. Results Three triterpene glycosides were identified as scabraside D (1),fuscocineroside C (2),and 24-dehydroechinoside A (3).Their inhibition on P-388,A549,MKN-28,HCT116,and MCF-7 cells were significant. Conclusion Scabraside D (1) is a new triterpene glycoside, and compounds 2 and 3 are isolated from H.scabra for the first time. The glycosides 1-3 show the in vitro cytotoxicity against five human tumor cell lines in comparison to 10-hydroxycamptothecin.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of clinical pathway teaching methord in nursing practice teaching. Methods80 junior college nursing students were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. Traditional clinical teaching method was given to control group, while the clinical pathway teaching method was given to observation group. Scores of comprehensive quality after departmental rotation and satisfaction rates of nursing students to teaching method in these two groups were evaluated. ResultsThe experimental group was significantly better than the control group ( P<0.05 ), and the difference was statistically significant. ConclusionThe clinical pathway can significantly improve the quality of nursing practice teaching.
