[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study was to analyze the screened miRNAs related to the chemosensitivity for the TPF regimen of hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma by miRNA array, and provide a set of miRNAs that may be useful for the development of novel diagnostic markers and more effective therapeutic strategies from the screened miRNAs.METHODSA total number of 21 patients who underwent TPF induction chemotherapy for primary hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma were recruited for miRNA array analysis. 12 patients are sensitive to chemotherapy, and 9 patients are not. Moreover, the selected putative regulated miRNAs were also validated by RT-PCR in another 24 patients (14 patients are sensitive to chemotherapy, and others are not).RESULTSThere were 24 miRNA significantly differencial to the sensitivity to chemotherapy, and 6 miRNAs were up-regulated in the TPF group while 18 miRNA were down-regulated (P<0.05). To identify typical miRNA, mirfocus 3.0 database selected four miRNAs hsa-miR-211-3p, hsa-miR-4253, hsa-miR-4443, and hsa-miR-193b-3p, which were significant down-regulated in TPF-sensitive group. QRT-PCR further validated that only three miRNA (hsa-miR-4253、hsa-miR-4443、hsa-miR-193b-3p) were under-expressed in TPF-sensitive group of another 24 tissue samples (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONMiRNA hsa-miR-193b-3p, hsa-miR-4253, hsa-miR-4443 were identified in TPF-sensitive tissues by microarrays, and further validated by RT-PCR. These down-regulated miRNAs may act as novel biomarkers to classify TPF sensitivity of hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma patients and will contribute to the understanding of the molecular basis of the chemosensitivity in the disease.

OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to analyze the screened miRNAs related to tumorigenesis using miRNA array in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), and provide a set of miRNAs that may be useful for the development of novel diagnostic markers and/or more effective therapeutic strategies from the screened miRNAs in LSCC. METHODS A total number of 5 patients who underwent surgery for primary laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma were recruited for miRNA array analysis. LSCC tissues compared with corresponding adjacent non-neoplastic tissues were analyzed by the Affymetrix GeneChip miRNA Array 3.0 to screen effective miRNAs, and the raw dataset had been submitted to Gene Expression Omnibus. Then mirfocus 3.0 database was adopted to analyze putative regulated miRNAs related to MCM4, a gene related to tumorigenesis we had studied previously in LSCC. Moreover, the selected putative regulated miRNAs were also validated by qRT-PCR in another 21 patients diagnosed as LSCC. RESULTS Analyzed by the miRNAs arrays, there were 127 miRNAs significantly related to tumorigenesis, and 78 showed a higher expression in tumor than in non-tumor tissue while 49 presented the contrasting pattern (P<0.01). Then analyzed by mirfocus 3.0 database, there were 2 putative regulated miRNAs, hsa-miR-24-3p and hsa-miR-183-5p, related to the expression of MCM4. Another miRNA we should focus on was hsa-miR-30a-5p, which was down-expressed obviously analyzed by the miRNA array. The expression of the 3 putative regulated miRNAs were also validated by qRT-PCR in another 21 patients, and the result was the same with that in miRNA array (P<0.05). CONCLUSION The 3 putative miRNAs based on miRNA array analysis, hsa-miR-24-3p, hsa-miR-183-5p and hsa-miR-30a-5p, could be considered as potential diagnostic and therapeutic markers in LSCC. The result will contribute to the understanding of the molecular basis of LSCC and help to improve the treatment.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(11):1716-1718
Objective:
To analyze the current situation and needs of primary and secondary school health clinic services, and to provide a reference for strengthening school health service in China.
Methods:
Investigation provinces were selected according to China s three major economic zones, 1 or 2 survey centers were selected from each province, 16 provinces and 26 survey centers were selected. In each survey centers, six schools from primary and secondary schools, junior high schools and high schools in urban and rural areas were randomly selected as research sites. Each research site randomly selected 10 students in each grade(grade three, four, five from primary schools) to fill in the questionnaire anonymously. A total of 4 661 valid questionnaires were collected.
Results:
Among the services provided by the school clinics to students, "trauma treatment" "consulting health problems" "physical examination" accounted for 49.4%, 40.5% and 39.0% respectively. Within the past one year, 45.1% students went to the school clinic for consultation or consultation 1-3 times, 6.4% for 4-5 times, and 3.7% for 6 times or more. When students were sick in school, 65.8%(primary school), 64.0%(junior high school), and 54.4%(high school) of them selected to go to the school clinic. When suddenly suffered trauma in school, 78.2%(primary school), 73.2%(junior high school) and 69.6%(high school) of the students went to the school clinic.
Conclusion
Primary and middle school students have a great demand for school health services, and it is necessary to continue to strengthen the construction of primary and secondary school health clinics.

ObjectiveTo analyze and construct a curriculum framework and content system of the vocational college rehabilitation therapy technology exercise therapy technology course, based on World Health Organization (WHO) International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and rehabilitation competency framework (RCF). MethodsUsing educational psychology and curriculum theory, and applying the ICF and RCF, the curriculum system for rehabilitation therapy technology curriculum system was constructed. A systematic analysis of the existing exercise therapy technology course content was conducted to identify the core elements related to ICF and RCF. Through the design of course modules, these core elements were integrated into theoretical courses, skills training and practical courses to form a comprehensive curriculum structure. ResultsCombining the ICF and RCF, a curriculum system for rehabilitation therapy technology curriculum system was constructed, covering theoretical courses, skills training and practical courses. This system enabled students to systematically master rehabilitation assessment and treatment techniques and develop clinical decision-making abilities and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. The introduction of the ICF framework allowed students to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of exercise therapy technology through the course. Developing competency-oriented courses based on RCF framework helped students develop comprehensive professional competencies through learning. ConclusionBy integrating the ICF and RCF, a curriculum for exercise therapy technology course in vocational colleges has been constructed. Based on the ICF framework, the content of the course has been aligned with the bio-psycho-social theory of functioning and health, covering three levels: body function, activity and participation, and environmental factors. The curriculum content should include the analysis, assessment and intervention of these functioning. RCF provides a theoretical structure and methodology for developing competency-oriented courses. When designing the course modules, teaching objectives have been established based on the core competency framework, aiming to develop students' comprehensive professional competence and professionalism through theoretical courses, practical training and clinical internships.
