Objective To explore the clinical significance of changes of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH).Methods The MCP-1 levels of urine and blood were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 96 patients with PIH and 49 normal pregnant women.Results The MCP-1 levels in blood and urine in patients with PIH were significantly higher than those in normal pregnant women,and were associated with the severity of the disease.The urine MCP-1 level was positively correlated with the levels of ?_2-microglobulin(?_2-MG),N-acety1-?-D-glucosaminidase(NAG),interleukin-6(IL-6) and retinal-binding protein(RBP),and was negatively correlated with creatinine clearance rate(Ccr).Conclusion The detection of MCP-1 is useful for examining the severity of PIH and the degree of renal injury.

Objective The CYP19 gene product enzyme aromatase mediates the conversion of the androgen testosterone to es -tradiol.The aim of this study is to investigate whether the CYP19A1 gene single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is associated with the susceptibility to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and serum hormone levels. Methods We conducted a case-controlled study, which included 373 PCOS patients and 313 healthy controls.We genotyped SNP rs2899470 in the subjects using the polymerase chain re-action-restriction fragment length polymorphism ( PCR-RFLP) method and analyzed the frequencies of genotypes and alleles as well as the association of different genotypes with age , menarchal age, body mass index (BMI), and serum levels of hormones. Results The gen-otypic distributions of rs2899470 GG, TG, and TT in the PCOS women were 44.5%, 49.6%, and 5.9%, respectively, significantly dif-ferent from 39.3%, 48.6%, and 12.1%in the healthy controls (P=0.013).The frequency of the G allele was 69.3%in the former, remarkably higher than 63.6%in the latter (P=0.025).The rs2899470 genotypic frequencies were associated with the serum E 2/T lev-els in the PCOS patients. Conclusion SNP rs2899470 in the CYP19A1 gene is associated with the susceptibility to PCOS , and so is the genotype of rs2899470 with serum E2/T levels, which may be attributed mainly to the reduced activity of aromatase .

Objective To evaluate of the clinical efficacy of two kinds of methods extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy in treatment of ureteral calculi. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 108 patients with acute renal colic and ureteral stones (calculi diameter<2 cm) from March 2011 to April 2013. The patients were divided into two groups. 69 cases in A group underwent emergency positioning urography ureteral catheterization combined extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, 39 cases in B group underwent emergency extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. Results A group:lithotripsy was successful in 63 cases among 69 cases at the first time,the first success rate was 91.33% (63/69), the second success rate was 94.2%(65/69),2 cases of retrograde ureteroscopy failed, 2 cases of self-discharge after intubation stones, the recurrent renal colic rate was 14.3%(9/63),the use of analgesic drugs rate was 11.1%(7/63) . B group:the first success rate of stone clearance rate was 74.4%(25/39),the second success rate of stone clearance rate was 87.2%(34/39),5 cases underwent ureteroscopy lithotripsy, the renal colic recurrence rate was 20.5% (8/39), the use rate of analgesic drugs was 15.4% (6/39) . Conclusion Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy assisted by urography through retrograde ureteral catheterization has satisfying therapeutic effect in treatment of patients with ureteral calculi.

Objective In this article Response Surface Analysis(RSA)was applied to optimize the formulation of doxycycline hydrochloride sustained release tablet.Methods Single factor exploration was used to determine the three factors which have the greatest impact on the release rate.The three factors were the dosage of the HPMC in the total weight of the tablet,the concentration of PVP-K30,and the ratio of lactose to microcrystalline cellulose,respectively.The composite score of the release behaviour was taken as the response value.The dosage of the ingredients were determined by Box-Benhnke design principles and 3 factors and 3 levels.Results The optimized formulation and process are as follows:the dosage of the HPMC in the total weight of the tablet was 30%;the concentration of PVP-K30 was 10%,and the ratio of lactose to microcrystalline cellulose was 13.The release behavior in vitro is ideal.Conclusion The optimized preparation process of doxycycline hydrochloride sustained release tablet is stable,highly efficient and suitable for industrial production.

Objective:To establish the quality control of Zhiqikang capsules. Methods:TLC was used to identify Gastrodia tuder halimasch, rhubarb and Astragalus mongholicus in the preparations. A spectrophotometry method with 3, 5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) was used to measure the polysaccharide content in Zhiqikang capsules. A spectrophotometry method with Forint phenol method ( Low-ry) was used to measure the peptide content in the capsules. Results:The linear range of polysaccharide was obtained between 6. 412 and 32. 060μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 5), the average recovery was 95. 86% and RSD was 0. 86%. The linear range of peptide was ob-tained between 0.059 7 and 0.298 4 mg·ml-1(r=0.999 0), the average recovery was 100.3% and RSD was 1.88%(n=6). Conclusion:The assay method is simple and accurate in the quality control of the preparations.

Objective To study the diversities of imaging, symptoms, electrophysiology and clinical value of the stereoelectroencephalography(SEEG) in patients with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy.Methods Eight patients with intractable epilepsy in Epilepsy Center of Yuquan Hospital of Tsinghua University who underwent mesial temporal lobectomy were recruited in this study, and their epileptic foci could not be accurately positioned.Therefore stereotactic brain electrodes were implanted, and their usual attack originated from mesial temporal lobe structure were confirmed.There was no seizure in the one year follow-up.Results Symptoms of the eight patients behaved differently, and the onset of the seizures in scalp electroencephalograph or SEEG showed diversities.Epileptic discharges were found originated from the mesial temporal lobe after implanting electrodes: in the early stage of discharges, four cases had the conduction to insular lobe structure;two cases had the conduction to contralateral mesial temporal lobe;one case had the conduction to retrosplenial cortex;one case had the conduction to parietal lobe;one case had the conduction to frontal lobe and rapid generalization (one case had the conduction to insular lobe and contralateral mesial temporal lobe meanwhile).Conclusions There is difference in clinic, imaging and electrophysiology of the patients with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy The non-specificity can be explained by the evolution of the intracranial electroencephalography, which can help us know its network conduction pattern Insular lobe is the most common conduction approach of mesial temporal lobe epilepsy in early stage SEEG can be used as a microinvasive, accurate preoperative localization method, which can help us to locate accurately and understand the discharges and conduction mode.

Objective To explore the effects of different extracts of modified Siwu Siteng Decoction (TFT-Ⅰ, TFT-Ⅱ) on rat models with hyperuricemia. Methods Rat model with hyperuricemia was induced by hypoxanthine and oxonic acid potassium salt. Seventy rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:normal group, model group, allopurinol group, TFT-Ⅰ high and low dose groups, TFT-Ⅱhigh and low dose groups. Each dose group was given lavage with related medicine, and blank group and model group were given lavage with distilled water for one week, respectively. Uric acid in serum (SUA) was measured through fully automatic biochemical analyzer, and xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity in serum and liver tissue was measured through colorimetric method. Results Compared with model group, TFT-Ⅰ and TFT-Ⅱ high dose groups significantly reduced the level of SUA, serum and liver XOD activity (P<0.05), with significant statistical difference between the two groups (P<0.05). TFT-Ⅰ and TFT-Ⅱ low dose groups had no significant effects on SUA, and XOD activity in serum and liver (P>0.05). Conclusion Alcohol soluble ingredients of astragalus membranaceus and Siwu decoction in modified Siwu Siteng Decoction can effectively reduce the level of blood uric acid.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of CBLB 502 on radiation pneumonitis and pulmonary fibrosis for confirming the feasibility of CBLB502 as a clinical anti-radiation drug release.Methods With a single 20 Gy irradia-tion, C57BL/6J mice was sacrificed on 24 h, 1 month, 3 months and 5 months and lung tissue was assayed by TUNEL method for apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells and endothelial cells , HE staining showing fibrosis changes , immunohisto-chemistry detecting the expression of specific indicators , as well as pathological changes of the fur and skin radiated site . Results CBLB502 inhibits apoptosis in mice alveolar epithelial cells and vascular endothelial cells after irradiation , slowing the process of pulmonary fibrosis , while reducing the expression of laminin and maintaining the expression of surfac-tant protein B, and the skin inflammation also significantly reduced .Conclusion CBLB502 could alleviate the occurrence of radiation pneumonitis and pulmonary fibrosis as well as radiation-induced skin injury .

Objective To explore the safety and feasibility of single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy without using titanium-clips. Methods Data of 1016 patients(group A) undergoing single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy without using titanium-clips were compared to that of 874 patients(group B)undergoing two-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy without using titanium-clips by t test and chi square test for operating time,operative hemorrhage,the length of postoperative hospital stay and postoperative pain.Results In group A,1001 cases were successfully operated on with single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy,with conversion to classic four-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 15 cases,while 874 cases in group B were operated on with two-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy.There were no bile leakage,biliary tract injury or death in both groups.There were no difference in operating time[(34.5 ±5.2) min vs (32.0±7.4)min,t=0.063,P=0.526],the length of postoperative hospital stay[(3.1±0.8)d vs(3.2±0.7)d,t=1.073,P=0.326]and operative hemorrhage[(56.5±17.8)ml vs (55.2±15.9)ml,t=0.812,P=0.425](P>0.05) between the two groups,but the postoperative pain was less severe in Group A than that in group B (P=0.000<0.05). Conclusions The single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy is feasible,safe,less traumatic and more cosmetic.
