Objective To study the prevalence of lower urinary tract dysfunction of patients with basal ganglia hemorrhage and the relationship between the syndrome and the muscle tone. Methods 44 basal ganglia hemorrhage admissions were involved and recording the situations of micturition and nervous system. Then patients were found if having the urinary symptoms and the classification.Results The prevalence of lower urinary tract dysfunction is 61.4%, 43.2% and 27.3% at the time of the 4th week, admission and the 12th week, and the most common symptom was urgency, frequency and nocturia. There was difference between micturitional disturbance and muscle tone(P<0.05). Conclusion Lower urinary tract dysfunction after basal ganglia hemorrhage was common, and urgency, frequency and nocturia were more common. The lower urinary tract dysfunction was lower with the time flying. Patients suffering urgency, frequency and nocturia had high muscle tone.

Objective To explore the relationship between the duration of tone pip with Blackman envelop and morphology or latency of auditory brainstem responses.Methods ABRs were recorded using 0.5,1,2,4 and 8 kHz tone pips with Blackman envelope at different intervals.Results The longer the duration of stimulus was,the better the frequency specificity of stimulus was.However,the ABR morphology were affected and the latencies of wave Ⅲ were prolonged.Conclusion When using tone pips to evokes ABR,stimuli should be well considered in order to produce better frequency specificity and transient state.

Objective To analyze the prevalence of lower urinary tract dysfunction in stroke patients in the convalescent stage,its risk factors and the characteristics of urodynamics.Methods One hundred and thirty-one stroke patients in the convalescent stage were included in this study.Their general information,neurological system reviewing and past history were obtained,especially detailed micturitional histories.In patients with urinary symptoms,diagnosis and classification were made and relevant analysis and urodynamic study were performed.Results The prevalence of lower urinary tract dysfunction is 44.3%.The most common symptom was urinary incontinence(frequency,urgency and nocturia)followed by hesitancy,straining and urinary retention.The incidence of micturitional disturbance is higher 1.8 times in cognitive disfunction group than normal cognitive function group(χ~2=18.683,P=0.000);it was higher 1.2 times in patients with modified Bathel index scale≤20 than those with≥25(χ~2=16.832,P=0.000).Logistic multivariate analyses suggested that age(OR=1.622,95%CI 1.183-2.224),the during of urethral catheterization(OR=3.236,95%CI 1.335-7.840)and single or multiple lesions (OR=1.296.95%CI 1.083-1.550)to be the risk factors of lower urinary tract dysfunction at the convalescent stage in stroke patients.The urodynamics study found detrusor over activity in 78.5% patients,normal in 10.5%and detrusor areflexia in 10.5% patients.There was no detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia.Conclusions Lower urinary tract dysfunction is common after stroke with the storage symptoms to be the most common.Patients with lower urinary tract dysfunction show impaired cognitive function and poor ability in daily life.Age,during of urethral catheterization and single or multiple lesions are among risk factors of lower urinary tract dysfunction.Detruser overactivity is the most common finding in urodynamic study.Because the clinic symptoms are not often in accordance with the findings in urodynamics study,further urodynamics study are needed to benefit the treatment.

Objective To compare the characteristics of the SP-AP compound wave elicited by click and tone pip.Methods The electrocoehleogram was recorded with round window electrode,and waves were elicited by click and tone pips,respectively.Results The SP-AP compound waves were elicited 1,2,3,4 and 8 kHz tone pip and click.The amplitude of SP at each frequency was-13.56±8.7,-16.61±10.53,-10.13±14.75,-3.71±14.49,-2.99±5.4 and -4.44±10.81 μv,respectively.Conclusion Tone pip at 1,2,3,4,8 kHz can elicit SP,and produce frequency specific SP wave.This is helpful to identify the lesion site of auditory neuropathy.

As a kind of abnormal phenomena,mirror movement occurred after both stroke and Parkinson's disease,and influence the rehabilitation prognosis was uncertain.Recently,bilateral training has been used in the stroke patients and showed some effect.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application and the clinical effect of nasal endoscope in styloid process truncating operation. METHOD: Dividing 66 patients into nasal endoscope group and control group randomly, and then observe them. Nasal endoscope group were cured with nasal endoscope during the styloid process truncating operation and the control group were treated with the routine method of intraoral path. All the operations were executed by the same person. Observation index included the following aspects: the length of the truncated styloid process, the operation time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative pain and pain degree, inflammatory reaction of raw surface and rehaemorrhagia. RESULT: Compared with the control group, the length of the truncated styloid process of nasal endoscope group were longer and the operation time had no significant differences. The intraoperative bleeding of intraoperative bleeding group were (85.0 +/- 35.0)ml and in control group were (95.0 +/- 40.0)ml. There are no significant differences between the result. Nasal endoscope group also had the advantages of fewer aches and less inflammatory reaction of raw surface. Both of the team had no rehaemorrhagia. CONCLUSION nasal endoscope can truncate a longer styloid process in styloid process truncating operation and is effective to relieve pain, and ease inflammatory reaction, it's a safe mini-trauma operation.

Low back pain caused by intervertebral disc degeneration is a common clinical chronic disease. The regenerative ability of intervertebral disc tissue is extremely poor. Meanwhile, current treating methods can not fundamentally solve such problems. With the increasing awareness of the mechanism of disc degeneration and the rapid development of the fields of cellular and molecular biology, gene and materials engineering, using stem cells and tissue engineering technology to slow down or reverse the progress of disc degeneration may become possible. The author reviewed the application of stem cells for treating degenerative discs from present researching status and concepts for the future in the combination of researches reported both at home and abroad.

Objective:To report the measures of preventing vein crisis during replantation of finger amputation.Methods:Reverse method of replantation,anastomosis of palm veins of finger,selec- tion the right outing point of Kirsehner wire,anastomosed the vein as many as possible,used drugs properly and putting rubber drain in the wound.Result:The measures were used in 135 fingers of 89 cases,129 fingers survived(95.6%).Vein crisis took place in 9 fingers(6.7%).Conclusion:The rate of vein crisis was 15.6% in replantation of finger amputation before,the rate was 6.7% in this group now.It was demonstrated that all the measures were effective.

Acute ischemic stroke is a common disease serevely threatening the public health. The main management involves intravenous thrombolysis, intra-arterial thrombolysis and mechanical embolectomy. Recently, endovascular mechanical embolectomy is attracted more attention because it provides a good outcome for patients either ineligible not responsible for IV thrombolytic therapy. The article reviews the relative aspects with summerization in this field.
