Objective To understand the diagnostic value of blink reflex (BR) in central neuropathy by observing the variations of blink reflex in diabetic patients. Methods Electrical pulse was used to stimulate the supraorbital nerve at the supraorbital notch. The responses of bilateral orbicular muscles of the eye were recorded, the variations of the latency and amplitude of R 1 and R 2 recorded on the side of stimulation and of R′ 2 recorded on the contralateral side were measured. Results There was significant prolongation in the latency and lowering of the amplitude of R 1, R 2 and R′ 2 in the diabetic patients compared with the control group. The abnormality rate of BR increased gradually with the prolongation of diabetic duration. Conclusion BR examination might provide an objective index for nervous damage in diabetic patients and it is helpful in early diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy.

Objective To study the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms of MMP1 gene (-1607) and cyclosporine-induced gingival overgrowth ( CsA-GO ) . Methods Polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) were used to detect 42 cases of cyclosporine-induced gingival hyperplasia patients and 118 normal controls. MMP1 (-1607) 1G/2G gene polymorphism type were detected and analysised;Logistic regres-sion model was used to calculate the different genotypes and the risk of cyclosporine-induced gingival hyperplasia re-lationship. Results Cyclosporine-induced MMP1 (-1607) 3 genotype frequency distribution of gingival hyperplasiacase group had no significant difference (P=0.37) with the control group. Patients who carry MMP1 (-1607) 2G genotype occurred cyclosporine-induced gingival hyperplasia have 1.37 times risk than 1G genotype (95%CI=0.81-2.36, P=0.24), and 1G genotype and cyclosporine-inducedgingival hyperplasiaun related torisk. Conclusion MMP1 gene promoter region (-1607) 1G/2G single nucleotide polymorphism of cyclosporine -induced gingival hyperplasia may not a genetic susceptibility factor, patients who carry 2G genotype has an increased risk of CsA-GO.

Objective:
To understand the neglect status among preschool non-only-child in Nantong, and to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and intervention of non-only child neglect.
Methods:
Using the method of random cluster sampling, a total of 1 141 parents of children from 9 kindergartens in the main urban area of Nantong were investigated with National Neglect Norm Scale for Children aged 3 to 6 years.
Results:
The neglect rate of preschool children in Nantong City was 28.6%, with neglect score being (40.21±6.67). The neglect rate of non-only-child was 32.6%, with neglect score being (41.14±6.73). The total and physical neglect rate of non-only-child were higher than that of only child, and the total neglect score and physical, emotional, educational, safety, medical neglect dimensional scores were higher than that of only-child, the difference were all statistically significant ( χ 2/ t = 6.21, 17.57; 3.95, 4.98, 3.45, 2.70, 2.01, 3.11, P <0.05). In non-only-child, univariate analysis showed that there were no significant differences in neglect rate and scores among children by gender and family types ( P >0.05); There was no significant difference in the child neglect rate between different age groups and children in different families ( χ 2 =3.59, 2.99, P >0.05), but there was a statistically significant difference in the degree of neglect ( t=2.79, 3.04, P <0.05). The neglect rate and score of non-only-child with high level of family income, parental education and parental relationship was relatively low, while the neglect rate and score in non-only-child whose grandparents serving as primary caregiver were higher ( P <0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that family monthly income less than 5 000 yuan was associated with 2.73 times higher risk of neglect compared to children with family monthly income more than 12 000 yuan. The risk of neglect among children whose grandparents serving as caregivers was associated with 2.17 times higher than children with parental care. The risk of neglect of children with poor parental relationship was 2.29 times higher than that of children with good parental relationship ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
The neglect among preschool non-only-child in Nantong City is common. Improvement in family economic status, parental care and parent relationship might help reduce neglect among preschool non-only-child.

Objective To apply the World Health Organization(WHO)International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Health(ICF)to a comprehensive analysis of the functional characteristics of children with attention deficit hyper-activity disorder(ADHD)and to develop a functionally oriented, individualized exercise rehabilitation protocol. Methods International Classification of Diseases(ICD-11)and ICF were utilized to systematically analyze the body structure, physical function, activities and participation, and environmental factors of children with ADHD.Based on the ICF's bio-psycho-social model of function, disability and health, combined with the theory of somat-ic and mental interaction, and referring to the WHO 2020 Guidelines on Physical Activity and Sedentary Behav-iour,particularly the sections relevant to disabled adolescents,a function-oriented exercise rehabilitation protocol suitable for children with ADHD was formulated. Results The dysfunctions of children with ADHD were mainly manifested in the area of mental functions(b1),which was highlighted by attention functions(b140),energy and drive functions(b130)and higher-level cognitive func-tions(b164).In terms of activities and participation, limitations were primarily observed in learning and applying knowledge(d1),general tasks and demands(d2),communication(d3),and interpersonal interactions and relation-ships(d7).In addition, environmental factors such as products and technology(e1),support and relationships(e3),and attitudes(e4)affected the progression of the disorder.According to the guidelines, physical activity could be categorised into motor skill-based activities,fitness-based activities and sport-based activities.Children with ADHD were recommended to perform at least 60 minutes of moderate to high intensity fitness activities(e.g.,aerobic exercise)and motor skill activities(e.g.,basic movement exercises)a day,and at least three times a week of high intensity activities such as strength/resistance training and athletic competitions. The protocol should also ensure an accessible environment and adaptive assistive technology to promote the overall functional rehabilitation of children with ADHD. Conclusion Based on the ICF theoretical framework, combined with the theory of mind-body interaction, and with refer-ence to the WHO 2020 Guidelines on Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour,a functionally oriented exercise rehabilitation protocol was constructed, focusing on the children's attentional function, learning and mental func-tions.
