Objective To study somatic cell embryogenesis of Acanthopanax senticosus induced by different concentration of 2,4D and type of explants, which provides theoretic evidence in protection of A.senticosus resources and genetic engineering. Methods Using 3-week seedlings and zygotic embryos(cotyledon, hypocotyls, and roots) of stratificated seeds as explants researches the effect of different hormones on somatic cell embryogenesis of A.senticosus. Results Explants of zygotic embryos of stratificated seeds cultured on MS and 1/2MS media containing 0.5 mg/L 2,4-D generated the highest frequency(57.1%) and the most number(3.3) of somatic cell embryos, which can develop into maturation in the initial medium. But it is more beneficial to generate new somatic cell embryos and to develop primary somatic cell embryos into maturation when transferred into 2,4-D of decreased concentration. And the deve-(lopment) process of somatic cell embryos of A.senticosus is similar to that of zygotic embryos. Conclusion(Somatic) embryogenesis of A.senticosus is realized by culturing explants of zygotic embryos and the inductive rate of somatic cell embryos is related to the concentration of 2,4-D and developmental stage of explants.

This study was aimed to design the distal radial anatomic splint which was more in line with the human anatomy and treatment characteristics using the computer design software 3D-MAX. According to ergonomic design principles, the forearm and wrist plaster splint were selected from volunteer models. Then, data of the plaster was measured and input into the computer for the design of the three-dimensional model of distal radial anatomic splint with 3D-MAX software. Finally, the blueprint was drawn for the factory to make the distal radial anatomic splint. The results showed that the distal radial anatomic splint was more in line with human anatomy, which did not require shaping in clinical using. It did not affect the biomechanical properties. And the patients never complain the squeez-ing discomfort of the splint. It was concluded that the three-dimensional model of the distal radial anatomic splint, which designed with 3D-MAX software, provided key parameters of the important part of the distal radial anatomic splint. Therefore, the produced splint was more in accordance with the human anatomy and the clinic treatment re-quirements. It avoided the loss of biomechanical properties after shaping, which was more convenient and effective in the clinical using. Its clinical promotion has a broad prospect.

Objective To evaluate the expression of miR-196b in newly diagnosed pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and its clinical signiifcance. Methods Fifty-two AML children were enrolled in this study and 30 non-leukemia com-pared children were selected as controls. The expressions of miR-196b were detected in bone marrow samples by real-time quan-titative PCR (q-RT-PCR) and the results were expressed in 2-??Ct. Results miR-196b expressions were signiifcantly higher in M4-5 and lower in non-M4-5 of AML children than those in control (P<0.01), with a lowest level in t (15;17) and a highest level in MLL subtypes (P<0.01). The miR-196b expressions were signiifcantly different among different prognosis groups (P<0.01) and the level in the favorable prognostic group was lower than in poor prognosis group. It was also found that miR-196b expres-sion was lower in remission group than that in no-remission group after the ifrst induction remission therapy (P<0.05). Mean-while, the expression of miR-196b in the children with WBC≥100×109/L were statistically higher than that in the children with WBC<100×109/L (P<0.01), and miR-196b level was positively correlated with the platelet counts (r=0.302, P=0.030). Conclu-sions miR-196b expression is increased in poor prognosis group of AML children, and high expression of miR-196b is related with low response rate and poor prognosis. miR-1966 is expected to become a new target for the treatment of AML.

Thirty-three patients with severe extracranial neuralgia after craniotomy(21 male, 12 female), aged 20-59 yr, in whom drug treatment was ineffective, 27 patients with headache following a-cute craniotomy(within 3 months)and 6 patients with headache after long-time craniotomy(more than 3 months)underwent neural blockade from January 2010 to March 2017 in Pain Clinic at our hospital. Their treatment and outcomes were analyzed retrospectively. The solution for neural blockade contained triamcin-olone acetonide 10 ml and 0.4% lidocaine solution and was injected into each puncture site(1-3 ml). Pain scores were decreased after the initial neural blockade when compared with that before therapy. Among the 27 patients with headache after acute craniotomy, there were 26 patients(96%)in whom complete pain relief was achieved only after one block and 1 patient(4%)after 2 times of block. Among the 6 pa-tients with headache after long-time craniotomy, there were 3 patients(50%)in whom complete pain re-lief was achieved after 2 times of block, 2 patients(33%)after 3 times and 1 patient(17%)after 4 times. The average time of achieving complete pain relief was 5(1-30)days. No recurrence was found during one-month follow-up period. No infection at the puncture site, injection pain or related adverse reac-tions after application of steroid hormones was observed. Neural blockade can be safely and effectively used to treat severe extracranial neuralgia after craniotomy.
