1.Clinical features and related factors for Kawasaki disease with liver damage

Objective To study the features of Kawasaki disease (KD)with liver damage and investigate the possible related factors,and to improve the understanding of liver damage in KD patients.Methods The clinical data of 75 KD patients admitted from 2008 to 2013 were collected to retrospectively analyze the clinical features of liver damage,as well as routine blood test,C-reactive protein (CRP),erythro-cyte sedimentation rate (ESR),liver function,and abdominal ultrasound.Categorical data were analyzed by chi-square test;continuous data were expressed as mean ±standard deviation;comparison between groups was made by t test and multivariate stepwise regression analy-sis.Results The incidence of abnormal alanine aminotransferase (ALT)level in 75 cases was 32%,and 79.2% of these patients had a serum ALT level of less than 200 IU/L,including 3 patients with hepatomegaly,1 patient with jaundice,and 1 patient with splenomegaly, which accounted for 12.5%,4.2%,and 4.2%,respectively,of patients with liver damage.CRP and ESR were not found to be related to liver damage (t=1.560,P=0.123;t=1.291,P=0.201).There was significant difference in platelet count between patients with liver damage and controls (t=-3.228,P=0.003).No significant difference in white blood cell (WBC)count increase was found between the liver damage group and control group,but simultaneous increase in WBC count and platelet count was significantly associated with an in-creased risk of liver damage (P<0.05).Conclusion CRP and ESR are not found to be significantly related to the development of liver damage,but there is a close relationship between liver damage and abnormal platelet count.WBC count shows a certain relationship with liv-er damage.Clinicians should pay attention to these factors and take timely measures for intervention.

3.Expressions of CD147 and MUC5ac in peripheral non-small cell lung cancer and their correlation with CT signs

Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of CD147 and MUC5ac in peripheral small cell lung cancer and the computed tomography (CT) signs.Methods Forty two cases of peripheral non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) confirmed by operation and pathology were examined by CT.The positive expression of CD147 and MUC5ac was detected by immunohistochemical staining and the relationship between the expression of CD147 and MUC5ac was analyzed.Results CD147 and MUC5ac were closely related to the lymphatic metastasis of peripheral non-small cell lung cancer (P < 0.05).The positive expression of CD147 is significantly related to tumor size,deep lobulation,spinous process and lymphadenopathy (P < 0.05).MUC5ac is significantly related to tumor size,deep lobulation,spiculation,vascular convergence sign,extrapleural fat Line disappearance,and mediastinal lymphadenopathy (P <0.05).Conclusions These results indicate that CD147 and MUC5ac play an important role in the invasion and metastasis of peripheral lung cancer.
4.Study on status and influencing factors of anxiety and depression of adolescent students in Weifang city

Objective To investigate the prevalence of anxiety and depression in adolescent children, and to explore influencing factors of anxiety and depression. Methods From May 2016 to September, 435 students at the age of 10~18 were randomly selected from primary school, middle school, high school in Weifang city. The Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders (SCARED) and Depression Self-rating Scale for Children (DSRSC) were used to evaluate the Clinical manifestation of students with anxiety and depression. A survey on the factors influencing anxiety and depression in adolescence was used to evaluate the related factors of students with anxiety and depression. Results The incidence rate of the anxious and depression of adolescent children in Weifang City was 20.6% and the average age was (12.38±3.58). The occurrence rate of anxious and depression was higher in girls than in boys (26.5%vs. 15.7%, P<0.05). Personal unhealthy (OR=0.387, P=0.001), lack of parental accompaniment (OR=0.671, P=0.020), low parental educational levels(OR father=0.338, P=0.001; OR mather=0.262, P=0.001), poor parental relationship (OR=1.049, P=0.008), bad parenting styles (OR=0.471, P=0.016) were risk factors of anxious and depression in adolescent children (P<0.05). Conclusion Adolescent girls are the high incidence population of emotional disorder, especially in early adolescence. Lack of parental accompaniment, low parental educational levels, poor parental rela-tionship, bad parenting styles are closely related to anxiety and depression.
5.Endoscope-assisted transsphenoidal approach for middle and lower clival extension of pituitary adenomas

Objective To explore the microsurgical skills and clinical value of endoscope-assisted transsphenoidal approach for middle and lower clival extension of pituitary adenomas. Methods The sublabial transseptal,transsphenoidal approach assisted by endoscope were applied in 16 cases which invasive middle and lower clivus.CT or/and MRI and pituitary hormones were detected after microsurgery. Results The tumor was achieved approximately total removal in 13 cases and subtotal removal in 3 cases.There were 8 functioning pituitary adenomas and the pituitary hormones decreased to normal level in 3 cases.PRL level decreased more than 80% in 4 cases and less than 80% in 1 cases. Conclusion Endoscope-assisted transsphenoidal approach for middle and lower clival extension of pituitary adenomas can achieve satisfactory effect.
6.Evaluation of intravenous and intraperitoneal chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer

Purpose:To evaluate the immediate therapeutic effects and toxicities of intraperitoneal versus intravenous chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer.Methods:Sixty one patients were treated with intravenous chemotherapy of leucovorin (CF) , fluorouracil ( 5 Fu) etoposide (Vp16) and intraperitoneal chemotherapy of cis platinum (DDP) in advanced gastric cancer. The short term effects and toxicities were observed.Results:The overall response rate was 57.4% and the complete response rate was 9.8% of the 61 patients .Leukopenia was observed in 95.1%, thrombocy topentia were observed in 27.8% of patients . Other side effects were uncommon.Conclusions:Intravenous chemotherapy of ELF and intraperitoneal chemotherapy of DDP were effective for advanced gastric cancer and are worthy to be further studied.
7.Efficacy of coenzyme Q10 in preventing propofol infusion syndrome in rats

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of coenzyme Q10 in preventing propofol infusion syndrome in rats.Methods Thirty pathogen-free healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 8-10 weeks,weighing 250-280 g,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=10 each) using a random number table:control group (group C),propofol group (group P) and coenzyme Q10 group (group CoQ10).Normal saline was infused intravenously in group C.In group P,1% propofol in medium-and long-chain triglyceride emulsion injection was infused intravenously.In group CoQ10,CoQ10 100 mg/kg was administrated by intragastric gavage,and 1 h later propofol was infused intravenously.The infusion rate was 20mg·kg-1 ·h-1 within the first6hand40mg· kg-1 · h-1fortherest6h,and the total time was 12hin the three groups.Immediately after the start of administration (To),and at 6 and 12 h after the start of administration (T1,2),blood samples 2 ml were taken from the common carotid artery,with 0.5 ml for blood gas analysis and 1.5 ml for determination of the levels of serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),creatine kinase (CK),creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB (CK-MB),cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr).After blood sampling,the rats were sacrificed,and myocardial tissues were obtained for pathological examination.Results Compared with group C,the serum AST,ALT,CK,CK-MB and cTnⅠ levels were significantly increased at T1,2 (P<0.05),no significant changes were found in serum BUN and Cr levels (P>0.05),the pathological changes of myocardium were aggravated in P and CoQ10 groups.Compared with group P,the serum AST,ALT,CK,CK-MB and cTnⅠ levels were significantly decreased at T1,2 (P<0.05),no significant changes were found in serum BUN and Cr levels (P>0.05),and the pathological changes of myocardium were significantly attenuated in group CoQ10.Conclusion Coenzyme Q10 can effectively prevent the development of propofol infusion syndrome in rats.

9.Effects of intra-articular injection of ropivacaine plus compound betamethasone after arthroscopic debridement for knee osteoarthritis

Objective To investigate the effects of intra-articular injection of ropivacaine plus compound betamethasone after arthroscopic debridement for knee osteoarthritis.Methods A total of 164 patients with knee osteoarthritis after arthroscopic debridement were randomly divided into three groups:combination group (n=62) treated by 2 ml sodium hyaluronate and 0.75% ropivacaine of 5 ml plus 1 ml compound betamethasone,compound betamethasone group (n=54) by 2 ml sodium hyaluronate and 1 ml compound betamethasone,control group (n=48) by simply sodium hyaluronate.The Lequesne Index was used to evaluate the clinical effects before and 1 week,6 weeks and 12 weeks after operation.All patients received at least 12 weeks follow-up Results According to Lequesne Index score criteria,a significant decrease was found in all groups before versus after operation(P<0.05).The clinical effects in combination group and compound betamethasone group were more improved as compared with control group at 1,6 and 12 weeks after operation (P<0.05).The effect in combination group was better than compound betamethasone group at 1 and 6 weeks after operation,but not at 12 weeks (P>0.05).Conclusions The intra-articular injection of ropivacaine plus compound betamethasone after arthroscopic debridement is a good method for relieving pain and improving the knee function.
10.Efficacy of radiofrequency thermocoagulation in relieving refractory pain of knee osteoarthritis in midde and older patients

Objective To investigate the effects of radiofrequency thermocoagulation in relieving refractory pain of knee osteoarthritis in older patients.Methods A total of 18 patients with refractory pain of knee osteoarthritis were under treatment of radiofrequency thermocoagulation to denervation and compared to 20 patients with refractory pain of knee osteoarthritis which were under treatment of arthroscopy combined with compound betamethasone (control group).The Oxford knee score and visual analogue scale were used to evaluate the clinical effects before operation,at 1 week,4 weeks and 12 weeks after operation.Results There were significant decreases in both groups after operation than before operation(Foxford =4.12,3.98,FVAS =3.98,4.11,both P<0.05),but there were no statistics differences between radiofrequency thermocoagulation group and control group at 1 week,4 weeks and 12 weeks after operation(toxford = 1.215,1.426; tVAS=1.319,1.123,0.867,P>0.05).Conclusions The treatment of radiofrequency thermocoagulation is a minimally invasive method,which can relieve refractory pain of knee osteoarthritis in middle and older patients and recover knee function effectively.
