Case report form (CRF) is a key document for data collection in clinical trials. A well-designed CRF is required for database construction, data accuracy, data query/cleaning, CRF completion and statistical analysis. A well-defined process or SOP should be in place for CRF design. Data collection should fully meet the demand of study protocol. The layout of CRF should be clear with well-structured fields and standard coding for fields.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value and technique advantage of 16-slice CT angiography(16SCTA) in aortic dissection.Methods 39 cases of aortic dissection underwent 16SCTA.The data were reconstructed by multiplanar reconstruction(MPR),curved planar reconstruction(CPR),volume rendering(VR),maximum intensity projection(MIP),virtual endoscopy(VE),and generally analyzed in combination with original axial images.Results According to DeBakey's classification,DeBakey's type Ⅰ in 5 cases,type Ⅱ in one case and type Ⅲ in 33 cases were founed in the 39 cases.16SCTA clearly showed that including the ture and false lumen(39 cases,100%),intimal flaps(39 cases,100%),intimal tear(25 cases,64.1%),and thrombus inside the false lumen(17 cases,43.6%).Conclusion 16SCTA may be as the first choice method in diagnosis of aoric dissection,and which is considered as having great value.

Objective To investigate the effects of 5-Aza-2′-deoxycytidine (5-Aza-Cde)on DNA methylation and expression of hMLH1 and MGMT gene in the human lung cancer cell line A549/DDP.Methods A549/DDP cells were cultured with RPMI 1 640 medium and were treated with 5 μmol/L DNA methyhransferase inhibitor 5-Aza-Cde.Methylation-specific pol-ymerase chain reaetioll (MSP)was used to detect the promoter methylation state of the hMLH1 and MGMT gene.RT-PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression of hMLH1 and MGMT before and after treatment with 5-Aza-Cde,respectively. Results Before treatment with 5-Aza-Cde,hMLH1 and MGMT expressions were absent,and promoter hypermethylation of the hMLH1 and MGMT gene were detected in A549 cells.After treatment with 5-Aza-Cde,the promoter region of the hM-LH1 and MGMT gene exhibited a demethylation state,and their mRNA expressions were increased.Conclusion Promoter hypermethyhtion is amajor mechanism of hMLH1 and MGMT gene silencing in human lung cancer cells,and can be reversed by the demethylating agent 5-Aza-Cde,which can regulate the expressions of the hMLH1 and MGMT gene.

Objective To explore the feasibility of team-based learning (TBL) for practice teaching of the aerospace nutrition and food hygiene.Methods A total of 90 students were investigated,and were divided into the TBL group (n=46) and the TL group (n=44) by simple random sampling.After the experiment teaching,a test and questionnaire were used to compare the teaching effect of TBL group and TL group.SPSS 18.0 was used for date and the data was analyzed by Independent-Samples t test and Chi-square test.Results Students in TBL group achieved higher mean test scores (85.70 ± 3.47) compared with students (74.10±2.41) in TL group and the difference was statistically significant (t=8.703,P=0.000).The results of the questionnaire showed that,compared with the TL group,TBL group students more agreed with the positive impact of the teaching methods on their team work ability,interpersonal skills,communication ability,problem-solving and self-learning and other aspects,and the differences between two groups were statistically significant (P＜0.05).In addition,the majority of the respondents in TBL group [93.5％ (43/46)] were satisfied with TBL.Conclusions TBL teaching is better than the TL teaching,and it can significantly improve students' comprehension of knowledge and enhance their learning effect.

Objective To detect the expression of p16 and discuss the significance in genesis and development of cervical cancer. Methods FQ-PCR method was used to detect the expression levels of p16 mRNA in cervical cancer(CC),cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),and normal tissues.And in situ hybridization was used to detect HR-HPV in these tissues.Results The expres-sion levels of p16 were 0.79±0.34,0.70±0.36,0.26±0.21 in CC,CIN and normal cervical tissues,respectively.The difference was significant (P <0.05).The expression level of p16 was significantly associated with FIGO stage (P <0.05),but it showed no significant relationship with age,tumor size,cell differential degree and lymphoid node metastasis (P >0.05).The expression level of p16 in HR-HPV positive cases was significantly higher than that in HR-HPV negative cases (P <0.05).Conclusion p16 shows high expression level in cervical cancer,which is closely related to the infection of HR-HPV infection.It suggests that the high ex-pression of p16 play an important role in genesis and development of cervical cancer.

Objective To study the effects of unilateral graded facetectomy on lumbar spinal stability in biomechanics and to investigate the biomechanical characteristics of articular process and the safety of decompression produre for lumbar disc herniation.Methods The vertebral column L4/5 function spinal unit(FSU) of 5 adult cadavers was used and graded facetectomy was performed on left articular process of L4/5 resulting in 0,1/4,1/2,3/4,4/4 facetectomy of lateral small vertebral joints.The stability of each model was determined using three-dimension movement test machine of vertebral column.Results When more than 1/2 facetectomy of lateral small vertebral joints was carried out,the circuitation stability of left,right lateral flexion and the left,right axial direction of vertebral column and that of normal vertebral column had significant difference(P

Objective To analyze the diagnosis and therapy of pemphigus and pemphigoid.Methods Clinical data were retrospectively analysed for 648 patients with pemphigus or pemphigoid admitted in Huashan Hospital,Fudan University from 2003 to 2007.Results The mean age of onset of pemphigus was younger than that of pemphigoid(47.0±16.9 years vs 65.1±13.9 years.P＜0.001).Of 175 patients with pemphigus confirmed by direct immunoflorescence(DIF),100%were positive for IgG,and 92.0%for C3,while out of 223 patients with pemphigoid,51.12%were positive for IgG,99.1%for C3.For pemphigus,the consistency reached 68.8%among clinical diagnosis.pathological diagnosis and immunological(DIF)diagnosis,80.7%between pathological and immunological diagnosis.In the case of pemphigoid,the consistency was 62.8%among clinical,pathological and immunological diagnosis,and 78.1%between pathological and immunological diagnosis.Corticosteroids were primary treatment strategy for both pemphigus and pemphigoid.and prednisone of 0.5-1.5 mg per kilogram bodyweight per day could control the condition of most patients.Conclusions DIF could be used as an important diagnostic means for patients with pemphigus or pemphigoid which can not be confirmed by clinical manifestation or pathology.In primary hospitals,IgG and C3 are recommended for DIF testing when pemphigus is suspected,and C3 is recommended for suspected pemphigoid.

Purpose To study the expression of TMPRSS2, ERG and ETV1 in prostatic cancer and their clinical pathologic signifi-cance. Methods Tissue microarray and immunohistochemistry (MaxVision) were used to detect TMPRSS2, ERG and ETV1 expres-sion in 70 prostatic cancer tissues, 10 prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia tissues and 18 benign prostate tissues. Results There was no statistical significance on positive rate of the expression of TMPRSS2 among prostatic cancer tissues, prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia tissues and benign prostate tissues (P>0. 05). The positive rate (81. 4%) of ERG in prostatic cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia tissues ( 30. 0%) and benign prostate tissues ( 0. 0 ) ( P <0. 05 ) . The positive rate (68. 6%) of ETV1 in prostatic cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia tissues (50. 0%) and benign prostate tissues (22. 2%) (P<0. 05). There was no correlation among the positive rates of TMPRSS2, ERG and ETV1 in prostatic cancer tissues and age (P>0. 05). The expression of TMPRSS2, ERG and ETV1 was positively correlated to Gleason score and clinical stage (P<0. 05). TMPRSS2 had positive correlation with ERG (rs =0. 465, P<0. 01). TMPRSS2 had positive correla-tion with ETV1 (rs =0. 590, P<0. 01). ERG had no positive correlation with ETV1 (rs =0. 151, P>0. 05). Conclusion ERG and ETV1 are expected to become therapeutic targets for prostate cancer. Detecting TMPRSS2, ERG and ETV1 at the same time is helpful to diagnosis and differential diagnosis of prostatic cancer, which might be new molecule markers of prostate cancer.
