OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the cost-effectiveness of insulin degludec(IDeg)in the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). METHODS:A systematic review of literatures was conducted via PubMed,EMBase,The Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,IDF,ISPOR,ADA and EASD from the inception to Janu-ary 2016,to identify pharmacoeconomics evaluation literatures and non-economic studies related to IDeg in the treatment of T1DM and T2DM,compared with other basic insulin [insulin glargine(IGlar),insulin detemir(IDet),neutral protamine hagedom insulin (NPH)]. RESULTS:A total of 8 studies were included and all of them were carried out in European countries. In the short-term (one year),IDeg was more economical when compared with other basic insulin in patients with T1DM. The studies related to the long-term treatment of T1DM demonstrated different conclusions, but most of studies came to a conclusion that IDeg had good cost-effectiveness. For patients with T2DM,all of the studies demonstrated that IDeg was cost-effectiveness compared with IGlar. CONCLUSIONS:Compared with other basic insulin,IDeg can improve therapeutic efficacy and the quality of life,as well as re-duce the cost of ADR as hypoglycaemia. IDeg is a dominant or cost-effective treatment opinion.

Diabetes mellitus is a typical metabolic disease. Its complications cause the main damage and lead to high mortality and disability eventually. The exact mechanism of diabetes is still unknown at present, and no radical cure of it is available. Therefore, the prevention of diabetes has become a priority.Metabolomics as a new technology can identify and measure the entire metabolic changes in the organism, and therefore has been widely applied to diabetes related studies with its enormous potential.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate(PDS)hollow suppository and establish a method for its quality control.METHODS:The PDS hollow suppository was prepared with semisynthesis fatty acid glyceride as ground substances and PEG300 or 1,2 propylene glycol as disperse medium. The content of PDS was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry at a detection wavelength of 251nm.RESULTS:The linear concentration range of PDS was 6.0~50.0?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9,n=5).The two kinds of PDS hollow suppository were all up to the quality standard.CONCLUSION:This method is reasonable in design and feasible in technology.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(7):992-994
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for drug use labeling for pregnant and lactating women. METHODS:The drug package inserts were collected from Linxi Hospital of Kailuan General Hospital during Jul. 2013-Dec. 2015. The information about drug use labeling for pregnant and lactating women was analyzed statistically. RESULTS:Among 762 drug package inserts,pack-age inserts which were not labeled with or labeled with indefinite drug use information for pregnant and lactating women accounted for 31.89% and 52.76% respectively. Among package inserts of 361 domestic chemical drugs and biological products,339 Chinese patent medicine and 62 imported drug, package inserts which were not labeled or labeled with indefinite drug use information for pregnant and lactating women accounted for 22.99% and 25.21%,44.54% and 88.50%,14.52% and 17.74%,respectively. CON-CLUSIONS:Except for poor drug use labeling for pregnant and lactating women in package inserts package, there still are other problems, such as items listed dispersedly, presentation content not consistent. Compared with imported drugs, the missing informa-tion for pregnant and lactating women are obvious in drug package inserts of domestic chemical drugs and biological products, and severe in those of Chinese patent medicine. It is recommended that drug manufacturers should strengthen drug tracing and monitor-ing after listed, and update and revise related content of package inserts timely;drug administration department should strengthen drug package inserts supervision, and unify and standardize labeled content management of drug use.

Objective To observe the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of the water extract of Glycosmis citrifolia (Willd.) Lindl.on mice and explore the mechanism. Methods The analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects were evaluated by 0.7% acetic acid-induced writhing test, the hot plate test, tests of dimethylbenzene-induced ear swelling,1% carrageenan-induced paw edema, determination of PGE2 in inflammatory feet,0.6% acetic acid-induced increase in peritoneal capillary permeability and cotton ball granuloma. Results The water extract of Glycosmis citrifolia (Willd.) Lindl.at low, medium and high doses can reduce the acetic acid-induced writhing times (P<0.01 or P<0.05),increase the pain threshold of mice (P<0.01 or P<0.05), inhibit dimethylbenzene-induced ear swelling (P<0.01 or P<0.05),1% carrageenan-induced paw edema (P<0.01 or P<0.05) and PGE2 production (P<0.01),0.6% acetic acid-induced increase of peritoneal capillary permeability (P<0.05),and the de-velopment of cotton ball granuloma (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion The water extract of Glycosmis citrifolia (Willd.) Lindl.shows analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects on mice.

Aim To explore the effects of Nrf2-ARE signal path on levrtiracetam anti-epileptic and levrtiracetam on learning and memorizing ability. Methods Thirty-six SD rats were divided into normal saline group, levrtiracetam group, model group and treatment group. Each group recruited nine rats.Tests of Morries water maze were given to the rats to evaluate their learning and memorizing ability. The protein expression of nuclear factor (erythroid-derived2)-like2 (Nrf2), heme oxygenase 1(HO-1) and NAD(P)H quinone oxidoreductase(NQO1) were examined by Western blot. Results Compared with model group, levrtiracetam could shorten the plateau period in epileptic rats (P<0.05), and increase the expression of Nrf2 protein, HO-1 protein and NQO1 protein in hippocampus(P<0.05).Conclusions Levrtiracetam could improve the learning and memorizing ability in epileptic rats.Levrtiracetam may increase the expression of HO-1 protein and NQO1 protein through the Nrf2-ARE pathway and play a part in antiepileptic effects.
