1.Heat Transfer Boundary Condition Calculation Model of a Fighter Plane Cockpit
Space Medicine & Medical Engineering 2006;0(06):-
Objective To establish a complete heat transfer boundary condition model in a cockpit including the inner wall heat transfer boundary condition and the air supply heat transfer boundary condition of the air distribution system. Methods The temperature field in the cockpit was carried out unmerical caculation with above model and the traditional method which was assumed uniform heat flux through walls and flow flux out of each air supply hole individually. An experiment was carried out to prove the caculation accuracy of both methods. Results The comparison between calculation and experiment results shows that the temperature field calculation accuracy of this model was much higher than traditional method’s.This model could indicate the unevenness and the asymmetry of the heat transfer through walls and the air temperature out of air supply holes of air distribution system. Conclusion This model is reasonable and has a good engineering application value.

Both the sleep apnea scale of sleep disorders questionnaire (SA-SDQ) and the Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS) were used to evaluate 25 patients with snoring and 125 patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome ( OSAHS), and scores were calculated and compared to the results of polysomnography ( PSG). Results showed that there was significant difference in scores of ESS and SA-SDQ, apnea hyponea index (AHI) and the minimal saturation of blood oxygen (LSpO2) at night between patients with OSAHS and those with snoring (P < 0.05). Score of both ESS and SA-SDQ significantly correlated with AHI ( r = 0. 78 and r = 0. 66, respectively, P < 0. 01 ) , i. e. , more severe of the condition, higher the scores. Score of ESS is highly consistent with clinical presentations in patients with OSAHS and can be used as preliminary screening for its diagnosis, however, use of SA-SDQ score is limited in diagnosing OSAHS due to its lower consistency.

OBJECTIVE:To improve rational drug use and reduce potentially inappropriate medication (PIM). METHODS:PIM of 700 elderly inpatients in internal medicine department of our hospital was evaluated by Beers criteria(2012 edition)and STOPP/START criteria. RESULTS:700 inpatients whose mean ages were (76.3 ± 7.2) years old took (12.1 ± 4.9) kinds of drugs per patient. 144 cases involved PIM(20.6%). The number of PIM was 220 in total, among which there were 117 cases/times relat-ed to drugs and 22 cases/times related to disease in according to Beers criteria,9 cases/times of STOPP and 72 cases/times of START. Drug with most frequency of PIM in accordance with Beers was benzodiazepines and most frequency in STOPP was thia-zides that used by patients with gout histonry. The most omission frequency of START prescription were absence of metformin thera-py for type 2 diabetes and absence of antiplatelet therapy for diabetes complicated with cardiovascular risk. CONCLUSIONS:A high prevalence of PIM in elderly inpatients in our hospital requires various measures to prevent its occurrence.

Objective: To explore the anti-proliferation and apoptosis-inducing effects of decitabine combined with paclitaxel on paclitaxel-resistant MCF-7 cells. Methods:Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assays were used to determine the proliferation inhibition of drugs at different concentrations in 24, 48 and 72h. The group was treated with decitabine, paclitaxel and the combination of the two drugs, respectively. The cell apoptosis rate was determined by flow cytometry after the treatment with the drugs at different concentra-tions in 48h. Results:The results of CCK-8 showed the combination group significantly inhibited the cell proliferation when compared with the single drug use group(P<0. 05), and the anti-proliferation value was in a dose-dependent manner in all groups. The apopto-sis values after the treatment with decitabine, paclitaxel and the combination in 48h was(20. 4 ± 1. 98)%,(21. 8 ± 3. 34)% and(70. 8 ± 8. 23)%,respectively. Conclusion:The proliferation inhibition and apoptosis induction are both increased significantly in the com-bination group. Synergistic effect of decitabine and paclitaxel is found in multidrug resistant breast cancer cell line MCF-7 in vitro.

Epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) targeted treatment has been a standard therapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but it is not tolerated well by all patients. In China, some studies have reported that traditional Chinese medicinal herbs (TCMHs) may increase efficacy and reduce toxicity when combined with EGFR-TKI, but outside of China few studies of this kind have been attempted.
