Objective To explore the effect of in-and out-hospital continued nursing care on emotional state and health behavior of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy after radical mastectomy.Methods Forty breast cancer patients undergoing radical chemotherapy in the oncology department of our hospital during March 2012 to February 2014 were put into the study group and another forty patients from the same department during March 2014 to February 2016 into the control group.The control group received traditional nursing care,while the study group in-and out-hospital continued nursing care mode.The health promotion lifestyle assessment scale (HPLP-Ⅱ),self rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self rating depression scale (SDS) were used for the evaluation before intervention and 2 months after the intervention.Results After intervention,there were no significant differences in the total scores on health behaviors and the dimensions,anxiety and depression (P＞0.05).Two moths after intervention,the scores on health behaviors and the dimensions in the study were all significantly higher than those in the control group and the scores on anxiety and depression were significantly lower (P＜0.05).Conclusion The in-and out-hospital continued nursing mode is beneficial for the breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy after radical mastectomy to adjust their emotions and improve their health behaviors.

Objective To summarize the characteristics of prenatal and postnatal ultrasonic image in hemivertebra fetal malformation. Methods The present study enrolled 12 ultrasound diagnosed hemivertebra fetal malformation and confirmed by either magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or X-ray in Guangdong Provincial Maternal and Children's Hospital from January 2012 to May 2013. All the ultrasonic image were collected to summarize their characteristics. Results In the twelve cases of prenatal ultrasonic image of hemivertebrae: (1) Vertebral anomaly patterns: the irregular-shape of bones are smaller than normal vertebral bony hyperechoic which inserted into the normal intervertebral in wedge-shape, scoliosis or angular deformity. (2) Diseased parts:in the 12 fetuses, 5 had single vertebral deformity while the other 7 had multiple vertebral deformities. For the location of the lesion, there were 6 dysmorphia appeared in thoracic, 3 appearedin lumbar, 1 appeared in sacrococcygeal, 1 appeared in both cervical and thoracic, and 1 appeared in both thoracic and lumbar. (3) Associated with other malformations: 4 term delivery fetuses confirmed diagnosis of hemivertebra malformation by MRI (the diagnosis of hemivertebra was confirmed by both the fetal MRI and postnatal X-ray in 2 of them within 3 days);8 fetuses had additional anomalies, including heart malformations. Three of them were induced abortion, the X-ray images of the fetal sample showed hemivertebradysmorphia. Five women chosed induced laborin local hospital, and the X-ray images of the fetal were diagnosed as hemivertebradysmorphia. One of them with rib deletion in thoracic was missed diagnosed. Conclusions Three-dimensional ultrasonicimages can clearly show the degree of scoliosis, locate vertebra. It provides important imaging evidence for the treatment of fetal dysmorphiaafter labor.

Objective To investigate the effect of ketamine on the synaptic long-term potentiation(LTP) in the CA1 area of rat hippocampal slices,and to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the effect of ketamine on memory.Methods Hippocampal slices(400 ?m thick) were obtained from the brains of male Sprague-Dawley rats(2 months old) weighing 200-250 g that were decapitated.The slices were incubated in artificial cerebrospinal fluid(ACSF) at room temperature for at least 120 min before use.Forty-nine slices were randomly divided into 7 groups(n=7):control group,ketamine 1,5,10,30,50 and 100 ?mol?L-1 groups.All the slices in each group were perfused with ACSF,ketamine 1,5,10,30,50 or 100 ?mol?L-1,respectively.The slices in each group were performed to record evoked population spikes(PS) using extracellular microelectrode recording technique.Another forty-nine slices were randomly divided into 7 groups(n=7):LTP group,ketamine-LTP 1,5,10,30,50 and 100 ?mol?L-1 groups.All the slices in each group were perfused with ACSF,ketamine 1,5,10,30,50 or 100 ?mol?L-1,respectively.PSs were recorded for at least 30 min before LTP in each group.For LTP induction,high-frequency stimulation(HFS) conditioning pulses(100 Hz?s-1) were applied to the Schaffer collateral-commissural pathway of hippocampus using a bipolar stimulating electrode.The changes in PS amplitude after HFS were analyzed in each group.Results The PS amplitude of the rat hippocampal slices in ketamine 1,5,and 10 ?mol?L-1 groups had no significant difference compared with control group.The PS amplitude in ketamine 30,50 and 100 ?mol?L-1 groups decreased compared with control group(P

Objective To discuss the effects of sevoflurane on perioperative hemodynamics and serum cardiac troponin I(cTnI) in patients undergoing abdominal surgery,and offer the reference for selecting anesthetic in clinic.Methods Forty patients with ASA Ⅱ—Ⅲ,undergoing radical gastrectomy were randomly allocated into sevoflurane group(group S) and propofol group(group P),with each 20 patients.Systemic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),heart reat(HR) and saturation of oxygen(SPO2) were monitored as routine.The concerntration of cTnI was examined at pre-anesthesia(T1),post-induction(T2),beginning of operation(T3),end of operation(T4),the first day post-operation(T5) and the third day post-operation(T6) with radioimmunoassay.Results SBP,DBP and HR in group P at post-induction were significantly lower than those in group S(P

Objective To investigate the expressions of CD147 and matrix metalloproteinases-9 (MMP-9)in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC)tissue and their clinical significance.Methods The expressions of CD147 and MMP-9 were analyzed semi-quantitatively by immunohistochemical staining in LSCC and control group tissues.Results ① The positive rate of CD147 was 83.3% (30/36)in LSCC,which was higher than that in laryngeal polyp (33.3%,5/15)and in adjacent normal tissue (16.7%,6/36);it was related to histological grade, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis status (P<0 .0 5 ).② The positive rate of MMP-9 was 7 2 .2% (2 6/3 6 )in LSCC,which was higher than that in laryngeal polyp (13.3%,2/15)and in adjacent normal tissue (5.6%,2/36);it was related to histological grade,T stage,clinical stage and lymph node metastasis status (P<0.05).③ There was a positive correlation between the expressions of CD147 and MMP-9 in LSCC tissue (r=0.721,P=0.000). Conclusion The over-expressions of CD147 and MMP-9 in LSCC may contribute to the development and metastasis of LSCC.

Objective To investigate celecoxib self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (CXB-SMEDDS) that was developed to increase the dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of celecoxib.Methods The formulation of CXB-SMEDDS was optimized by pseudo-ternary phase diagrams analysis.The appearance, morphology, particle size distribution and in vitro drug release behavior of CXB-SMEDDS were investigated after diluted by water.The bioavailability of CXB-SMEDDS was determined by oral administration to rats compared with CXB suspension.Results An optimized formulation was selected: Medium chain triglycerides as oil phase, Tween 20 as surfactant, Transcutol HP as cosurfactant.The ratio of oil phase, surfactant and cosurfactant was 2∶9∶9.Upon mixing with water, CXB-SMEDDS formed a clear and transparent microemulsion solution with homogeneous small spherical under transmission electron microscopy.For particle size of CXB-SMEDDS was found to be (57.6±14.2) nm.The in vitro dissolution test indicated a significant improvement in release characteristics of CXB.The AUC of CXB-SMEDDS and CXB suspension were (5.54±0.94) and (3.32±0.59) mg·L-1·h, respectively.The relative bioavailability was 166.9%.Conclusion The SMEDDS can significantly increase celecoxib dissolution in vitro and bioavailability in vivo.

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture therapy combined with medicine ion ducted by intermediate frequency electricity on vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.Methods60 patients with vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis were divided into the acupuncture combined with medicine ion ducted by intermediate frequency electricity group (group A) and acupuncture group (group B) with 30 cases in each group. The group A was treated by acupuncture combined with medicine ion ducted by intermediate frequency electricity and the group B was treated by acupuncture only.ResultsThe cure rate and the efficiency rate were 70% and 93% in the group A, 33.3% and 90% in thegroup B respectively. The therapeutic effect of the group A was obviously superior to that of the group B ( P<0.05).ConclusionThe treatment of acupuncture combined with medicine ion ducted by intermediate frequency electricity shows an obvious effect on vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.

Objective To investigate whether the implanted spike wave electrical stimulation (ES) can improve survival of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) after transplantation in spinal cord injury (SCI) rats. MethodsIn the study,60 male SD rats were used to prepare the SCI induced by a digital weight drop apparatus.The MSCs from each rat' s femurs were collected and then labeled by Bromodeoxyuridine (Brdu) seven days after SCI.The rats were randomly assigned into four groups,ie,group A (receiving a transplantation of MSCs only),group B (receiving electro-stimulant therapy only),group C ( receiving a transplation of MSCs and electro-stimulant therapy) and the control group ( receiving a single injection of phosphate buffer solution,PBS).Functional status was assessed regularly before and after SCI by using the Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) locomotor rating score and somatosensory evoked potential (SEP).The recovery of spinal cord was checked by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and the survivorship of the labeled MSCs was observed with immunohistochemical method. Results BBB score of group C demonstrated significant difference in comparison with that of the other three groups ( P ＜ 0.05 )and was significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜0.01 ) four weeks after surgery,which indicated an obvious functional improvement of the extremity mobility in group C.At the 8th week postoperatively,SEP study displayed significant difference in group C from the other three groups in terms of latency and wave amplitude (P ＜0.05 ),indicating the fast neurofunctional recovery of the spinal cord in group C.MR images of the spinal cords by DTI showed the same outcome.Immunohistochemistry confirmed a large number of the labeled MSCs positive cells in the lesion site of group C.ConclusionTheimplanted spike wave ES promotes the bioactivity and survival of MSCs and improves the therapeutic effect in combination with MSCs transplantation.
