Objective To analyse the serum levels and clinical significance of interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods 40 cases of patients with a-cute cerebral infarction were enrolled in this study.The degrees of neurological impairment and infarct volumes of these patiens were evaluated,serum levels of IL-8,TNF-αand hs-CRP were detected as well.40 cases of healthy individuals were selected as con-trol.Results The serum levels of IL-8,TNF-αand hs-CRP in patients with acute cerebral infarction were higher than those in the control group,had statistically significant differences(P <0.05).The serum levels of IL-8,TNF-αand hs-CRP in these patients be-gan to rise at the onset of acute cerebral infarction and reached peak in 72 hours,were also correlated with the volumes of infarction and the degrees of neurologic impairment.14 days after onset of acute cerebral infarction,serum levels of these indexes returned to normal.Conclusion The serum levels of IL-8,TNF-α,hs-CRP are significantly elevated in the patients with acute cerebral infarc-tion,which may be correlated with the volumes of infarction and the degree of neurologic impairment,and could be used to guiding clinical treatment and estimating the severity and prognosis of acute cerebral infarction.

Objective To observe the changes of serum 25‐hydroxy vitamin D[25‐(OH)D] level of patients with rheumatoid ar‐thritis(RA) and study its clinical significance .Methods The method of chemiluminescence was adopted to detect peripheral blood serum 25‐(OH) D of 60 cases of RA patients(RA group) and 60 cases of healthy people(control group) .Results The serum 25‐(OH) D level of patients in RA group was(34 .37 ± 8 .87) nmol/L ,while that of the control group was(61 .33 ± 7 .74) nmol/L ;after comparison ,the differences were statistically significant (t= -6 .892 ,P< 0 .05);the serum 25‐(OH) D level of patients in RA group was in negative correlation with RA patient age ,body mass index(BMI) ,time of morning stiffness ,tender joint count(TJC) , swollen joint count(SJC) ,C‐reactive protein(CRP) ,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) ,visual analog scale(VAS) for disease o‐verall pain and health assessment questionnaire (HAQ) and disease activity score (DAS28)(r= -0 .201 ,-0 .255 ,-0 .362 ,-0 .296 ,-0 .273 ,-0 .198 ,-0 .323 ,-0 .356 ,-0 .379 ,-0 .418 ;P<0 .05 in all cases);but had no correlation with course of dis‐ease ,rheumatoid factor (RF) ,anti‐cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibody (anti‐CCP) and antibody concentration (P> 0 .05) . Conclusion The serum 25‐(OH) D level of RA patients is significantly low ,which might be associated with the RA disease activi‐ty .

Objective:To determine the content of methanol, alcohol and isopropanol in flupirtine maleat by headspace gas chro-matography. Methods:The capillary gas chromatography with programming temperature was established with an FID detector and a DB-624(30 m × 0. 53 mm,3. 0 μm) capillary column. The temperature of the injector and the detector was 200℃ and 250℃, respec-tively. The residual organic solvents were determined by an external standard method. Results: Methanol, alcohol and isopropanol showed good linearity within the range of 2. 182~152. 74(r=0. 999 1), 3. 546-248. 22(r=0. 9998)and 4. 082-285. 74 μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 7) with the average recovery of 97. 7%(RSD=1. 5%),99. 0%(RSD=1. 1%)and 98. 8%(RSD=1. 1%)(n=5), respec-tively. Conclusion:The method is simple, sensitive and accurate, and can be used in the residual solvents detection for flupirtine mal-eat.

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of open decompression drainage on acute pulpitis.Methods Totally 180 acute pulpitis patients hospitalized during January 2012 to September 2014 in our department were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group (n=80 each).The control group was treated with pulp inactivating agent and the observation group was given open decompression drainage.The clinical effects,analgesia efficiencies at 7d after treatment,treatment course and the complications were compared between the 2 groups.Results There was significant difference in the effective rate between control and observation groups after treatment [61.3％ (49/80 cases) vs.86.3％ (69/80 cases),P＜0.05].The analgesia efficiencies at 7d after treatment was 46.3％ (37/80 cases) in control group and 73.8％ (59/80 cases)in observation group (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in treatment course between two groups [(7.7±1.4) times vvs.(6.1± 1.2) times,P＞0.05]].6 patients developed periapical periodontitis in control group,and only 4 cases in the observation group (P＞0.05).Conclusions Early open decompression drainage has good clinical effects and analgesia efficiencies in treatment of acute pulpitis,which is worthy of clinical application.

Forty-eight male Wistar rats,weighing 280 to 320 g,were selected and prepared by fasting but free drinking for 12 hours before the experiment.They were randomly divided into four groups by random number table (12 rats in each group):control group,ischemic group,reperfusion group and propofol group.Control group:normal saline infusion[10 ml /(kg?h)]for 1 h in caudal vein without any other treatment.Ischemic group:on the basis of control group,supply with 20 mmHg(1 mmHg =0.133 kPa)pneumoperitoneum pressure for 1 h. Reperfusion group:on the basis of ischemic group,keep pneumoperitoneum pressure open for 30 min.Propo-fol group:infusion propofol in caudal vein [10 ml /(kg?h),saline 10-fold dilution],given 20 mmHg pneu-moperitoneum pressure for 1 h,then kept this pressure open for 30 min.The expression changes of blood urea nitrogen(BUN),creatinine(Cr),superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)and nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)were detected individually.Results The levels of BUN,Cr and MDA gradually increased,while the level of SOD decreased in control group,ischemic group and reperfusion group (P ﹤0.05,respectively).Compared with ischemic group and reperfusion group,the levels of BUN,Cr and MDA decreased significantly,and the level of SOD increased markedly in propofol group(P ﹤0.05,respectively). The expression of Nrf2 protein and mRNA gradually increased in the control group,ischemia group,reperfu-sion group and propofol group (P ﹤0.05).Conclusion Carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum can cause renal IRI in rats.Propofol has a protective effect of IRI by regulating the expression of Nrf2 protein.

Objective To obtain sufficient recombinant multiepitope peptide of ESAT-6.Methods DNA encoding ESAT-6 peptide was amplified by PCR using a pair of primers which were designed in accordance with the reported ESAT-6 gene sequence.The ESAT-6P gene was inserted into the prokaryotic expression vector pET-30a with the N-terminal 6His-tag.The recombinant peptide vector pET30a-ESAT-6P was transformed into E.coli BL21(DE3) via chemical transformation.The positive clone was screened by means of PCR.The target peptide was expressed in E.coli after induction with IPTG and analyzed by SDS-PAGE.The immunogenicity of the peptide was evaluated by dot immunobinding assay.Results The target peptide was successfully expressed and purified.The solubility analysis showed that the recombinant peptide existed as inclusion body in the E.coli.DIBA indicated that the ESAT-6P was specifically reactive to sera from TB patients.Conclusions The recombinant multiepitope peptide of ESAT-6 engineering bacteria has been obtained,which will be quite helpful to develop novel specific diagnostic reagents and effective vaccine.

Objective To explore the value of three-dimensional interactive localization of the anterior ethmoidal canals(AECs)in minimally invasive nasal surgery.Methods Thin-section three-dimensional CT images of the paranasal sinus in 80 patients(160 sides)were analyzed by using interactive localization system.The length and angulation of the AECs were recorded.The relationship between the positions of the AECs and anatomical landmarks were viewed in coronal and sagittal planes.Results The length and angulation of the AECs were(6.9?1.8)mm and(126.6?16.0)?,respectively.The distance between the anterior ethmoidal foramen and the anterior ethmoidal canal to the roof was(7.0?2.2)mm and(2.8 ? 2.0)mm,respectively.The AEC was identified as a suspending separate canal in 35.0%(56/160)sides.In the AECs plane on coronal images,the sagittal part of middle turbinate was found as 74.4%(119/160),the basal lamella of middle turbinate was 25.0%(40/160),and the superior turbinate was 0.6%(1/160).While on the sagittal planes,the position of AECs located on the basal lamella of ethmoida,on the basal lamella of middle turbinate,between the basal lamella of uncinate process and the basal lamella of ethmoida,between the basal lamella of ethmoida,and the basal lamella of middle turbinate were found in 23.8%(38/160),45.0%(72/160),1.2%(2/160)and 30.0%(48/160)of the cases,respectively.Conclusion AECs can be measured and located correctly by three-dimensional interactive system.

The effects of D-polymannuronic sulfate (DPS) on the norepinephrine (NA) or potassium chloride (KCL)-induced contraction of rat aortic rings were studied in this paper. The results showed that DPS at the final concentration of Img ? L-1 inhibited the contraction of aortic rings e-voked by NA or KCL and shift doseresponse curves for NA or KCL to the right in a non-parallel fa-sion and depressed their maximal response, implicating that DPS afforded the noncompetitive antagonism on contraction of rat aortic rings induced by NA or KCL. This finding suggested that DPS exerted an inhibitory action of potential-dependent calcium channel and that of receptor-operated calcium channel in vascular smooth muscle.

Objective To study the relationship between serum insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-Ⅰ) levels and prostatic cancer. Methods The levels of IGF-Ⅰwas measured with immunoradiometric assay(IRMA) in 37 cases of prostatic cancer,35 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and in 20 healthy subjects as controls.The serum IGF-I levels were compared to the clinical and pathological grading of the prostatic cancer.8 cases of prostatic cancer after operation have been followed up. Results The mean levels of serum IGF-I in prostatic cancer (325.6?100.8 ng/ml) were significantly higher than those in BPH (201.6?53.8 ng/ml) and healthy subjects (179.0?57.2 ng/ml) (P0.05).Statistical difference was noted before ( 315.8?87.0 ng/ml) and after (224.8? 88.4 ng/ml) PCa operation(P0.05). Conclusions The levels of serum IGF-I may be a new marker to prognose and for early diagnosis of PCa in high risk population.
