Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Cypermethrine(CP) is a kind of pryethoids which is widely used in these years. As the increase of use quantity and use time of cypermethrine, more attention has been paid to the study on the toxicity. Interestingly, on different animals and by different routes of exposure, cypermethrine will show the different toxic effects. The current researches on the acute and chronic toxicity of cypermethrine to human beings and animals, as well as the mechanism of the toxicity were reviewed in the present paper.
2.Early changes of plasma levels of angiopoietin-2 in multiple trauma patients and the relationship between endothelial injury, prognosis
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2011;20(6):579-582
Objective To investigate the early changes of plasma levels of angiopoietin2 in patients with multiple trauma and the relationship between plasma levels of angiopoietin2 (Ang2) and endothelial injury as well as prognosis of patients in order to determine their clinical significance. Methods Patients with multiple trauma admitted to emergency department from January 2008 to January 2010 were enrolled. A total of 59 casualties met the criteria(admission within 1 h after trauma and age > 18 years), and were eligible for enrollment. Patients with heart, brain, liver, kidney and other organic diseases, diabetes, hypertension, tumor, acute and chronic infectious diseases , severe brain injury (CCS < 12 points) , anticoagulant and thrombolytic medicine used two weeks before trauma were excluded. Among 59 patients, 36 were males and 23 females. The average age was(32.3 ±11.5) years. Patients were divided into severe trauma group (ISS ≥16 points,n =29) , moderate trauma group (ISS < 16 points, n =30 ) judged by using injury severity score (1SS). Thirty healthy subjects were selected as controls, 19 male and 11 female, with age > 18 years and an average age of(33.5 ±10.6) years. All groups had comparable gender proportion and average age. The 10 mL peripheral blood sanple was collected within 10 minutes after arrival of patients to emergency department and the plasma was separated from blood. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the plasma levels of angiopoietin2, and the plasma levels of von Willebrand factor (vWF) and thrombomodulin (TM) were also detected. Data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation and were statistically analyzed by using SPSS version 13.0 statistical software. The differences in plasma levels of angiopoietin2 of patients in each group were analyzed by ANOVA and Newman-Keuls test. Levels of angiopoietin2 in fatal patients and survival patients were also compared by using t test. The relationships between angiopoietin2 and plasma levels of vWF as well as levels of TM were analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. Changes were considered as statistically significant if P value was less than 0.05. Results The plasma levels of angiopoietin2 in severe trauma group (ISS scored 16 points) were significantly higher than those in moderate trauma group (ISS < 16 points) ( P < 0.05 ), and those in trauma patients of the two groups were both significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). The plasma levels of angiopoietin2 in fatal patients were significantly higher than those in survivors (P < 0.05). Plasma levels of angiopoietin2 were significantly correlated with plasma levels of vWF and TM (P < 0.05). Conclusions The plasma levels of angiopoietin-2 significantly increase after multiple trauma, and correlate with the degree of trauma severity. The plasma levels of angiopoietin2 correlate with endothelial injury after multiple trauma, having important prognosis value in patients with multiple trauma.
3.Interventional therapy of complications after liver transplantation: hepatic artery thombosis
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(09):-
Resolution of the complications after liver transplantation is one of the important factors related to prognosis. Hepatic artery thombosis (HAT) after liver transplantation can lead directly to trans- planted liver undergone necrosis, biloma formation and liver functional exhaustion. The early diagnosis with Color Doppler which should be the first method of choice, CTA, MRA and angiography could lead to exact demonstration, and proper treatment can result in better prognosis. The microinvasive techniques such as local thrombolysis, balloon dilatation and stent placement are safe and effective for treatment of hepatic artery thombosis. The vascular reconstruction and oxygen hyperbaric are effective therapeutic methods. Repeat liver transplantation is still the last important choice for survival.
4.Paracrine effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on biological function of osteoblasts
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(10):1477-1483
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the paracrine effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on osteoblast biological function. METHODS:Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were isolated using standard Ficol-Paquedensity gradient centrifugation. Mesenchymal stem cellconditioned medium was prepared to cultivate osteoblasts, MG63. Proliferation of MG63 cells was analyzed by cellcounting kit-8. Migration of MG63 cells was analyzed by cellscratch method. Alkaline phosphatase activity of MG63 cells was analyzed by microplate test kit. Real-time PCR was performed to evaluate osteoblast differentiation markers, alkaline phosphatase, col agen type I and osteocalcin. Alizarin red staining was performed to evaluate osteoblast mineralization. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The cells were strongly positive for CD44, CD73 and CD90, but negative for CD34. MG63 cells cultured in the conditioned medium showed better proliferation and migration than those cultured in the Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium. The activity and mRNA expression of alkaline phosphatase were much higher after induction of 4, 7 days (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in expression of col agen type I and osteocalcin after induction of 4 days, but they were significantly higher than those in the control group after induction of 7 days (P<0.05). Alizarin red staining showed that the number of calcium nodules was increased and the mineral apposition was enhanced after induction of 21 days with the conditioned medium. These findings suggest that the paracrine substance of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells can significantly promote osteoblast proliferation, migration, differentiation and mineralization.
5.CT manifestations of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis after solid organ transplantation
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(44):7777-7784
BACKGROUND:The morbidity and mortality of lung infection after solid organ transplantation remains high, especial y the opportunistic aspergil osis infection. The early diagnosis of invasive pulmonary aspergil osis is difficult. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the CT manifestations of invasive pulmonary aspergil osis after solid organ transplantation. METHODS:The VIP database, CNKI database, Medline database, Highwire database and Foreign Journals Integration System were retrieved with the key words of“solid organ transplantation/renal transplantation/liver transplantation/lung transplantation/heart transplantation, aspergil osis, fungus, mold, pulmonary invasive, tomography computerized”in Chinese and English for the articles published from January 2001 to October 2012. The clinical reports related with the CT manifestations of invasive pulmonary aspergil osis among the reports of pulmonary aspergil osis infections and the fungus or mold lung infections were selected. Secondary manual retrieval of solid organ transplantation was performed, and the literatures on the CT manifestations of invasive pulmonary aspergil osis after solid organ transplantation were included. Reproductive research and atypical report were excluded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSlON:The typical chest CT manifestations of invasive pulmonary aspergil osis after solid organ transplantation included nodules, masses, consolidations and ground-glass opacities. With infection time prolonged, the halo sign, reversed halo sign, cavitis and air crescent sign appeared successively. Different incidences of these signs may be associated with the time interval between onset to a CT examination, fungus preventive treatment time and early antifungal treatment. Meaningful results are the relationship between invasive pulmonary aspergil osis signs and the prognosis of patients. No consolidations or masses and presence of smal cavitis may be related with a better prognosis. Greater nodules, multi-infarct consolidation, renal replacement therapy and persistent positive serum galactomannan is a 90-day independent predictor for mortality. Halo sign on behalf of bleeding has nothing to do with the 90-day mortality. Although the report is less, the CT pulmonary angiography is a promising diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of invasive fungal pneumonia, which can early detect the vascular occlusion used to reflect the invasive vascular involvement, and its sensitivity and specificity are better than the halo sign, and approximate to serum galactomannan test.
6.Implementation of Quality by Design in the Program of Safety Re-evaluation of TCM Injections
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2013;(6):1433-1436
It has been widely accepted in modern pharmaceutical industry that quality cannot be tested into products , instead quality should be built-in by design . However , the implementation of Quality by Design ( QbD ) in development , manufacture and supervision of traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM ) still remains to be a challenge . The program of safety re-evaluation of TCM injections provides an opportunity to practice QbD approach in TCM industry . This paper discussed some potential ways that improve the quality of TCM injec-tions base on QbD related tools , including identification of critical quality attributes , critical process parameters and critical material attributes, development of design space and control strategy.
7.Osteogenic ability of fascia-versus muscle-derived cells in rats
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(16):2472-2477
BACKGROUND: Multipotent differentiation ability enables mesenchymal stem cells from autologous bone marrow to differentiate into osteoblasts and chondroblasts, thereby promoting the formation of bones and cartilage. However, the osteogenic ability differs from each other, and whose osteogenic ability is the best still needs to be studied further. OBJECTIVE: To compare the osteogenic ability of fascia- and muscle-derived stem cells in rats. METHODS: Fascia- and muscle-derived cells were isolated from 20 rats, followed by flow cytometry sorting, and were then cultured. FDC-LacZ cells were transfected with retro-BMP4 virus twice. Afterwards, the transfection efficiency of fascia-derived cells was detected through LacZ and alkaline phosphatase staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with fascia-derived cells, muscle-derived cells showed stronger chondrogenic ability and produced more calcium deposition. These findings indicate that the osteogenic ability of muscle-derived cells is superior to that of fascia-derived cells in rats.
