Objective To evaluate the applicated value of color Doppler ultrasonography (CDUS) and CR molybdenum target in the diagnosis of breast nodules.Methods Comparative analysis of 87 patients with breast nodules diagnosed by CDUS and CR molybdenum target were contrasted with postoperative pathology.Results 47 cases of 78 patients with breast nodules were benign lesions.39 cases were correctly diagnosed by CR molybdenum target,41 cases were correctly diagnosed by CDUS,and 44 cases were correctly diagnosed by CR molybdenum target and CDUS.Contrasted with postoperative pathology,the accuracy rates of breast disease diagnosed were 82.5％,75.0％ and 95.0％ diagnosed by CR molybdenum target,CDUS,CR molybdenum target and CDUS.Conclusion There is no significant statistical difference between CR molybdenum target and CDUS in the diagnosis of benign breast nodules.The accuracy rate of breast disease diagnosed by CR molybdenum target and CDUS is better than that diagnosed by CR molybdenum target or CDUS only.The two co-diagnosis are benefit to raise the accuracy rate of breast nodules.

Objective To investigate the prognostic value of plasma brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Sixty-five patients with first-ever acute cerebral infarction and 32 healthy controls were recruited. The neurological deficits in patients with cerebral infarction were evaluated by using Chinese Stroke Scale (CSS).Plasma BNP levels were detected by immunofluorescence technique. Death and recurrent stroke events were followed up. Plasma BNP levels were compared between an event group and a non-event group, and the relationship between plasma BNP levels and poor prognosis was analyzed.Results Plasma BNP levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly higher than those in healthy controls (238.7 ± 131.6 pg/ml vs 38.7±23.8 pg/ml, P <0.01). Nine patients (13.8%) died, and 8 (12.3%) had nonfatal recurrent stroke during the follow-up period. Compared to the non-event group, the baseline plasma BNP levels in the death/recurrent stroke event group were significantly higher (304.0 ± 134.9 pg/ml vs 214.4 ± 120.9 pg/ml,P < 0.01). There was significant correlation between plasma BNP levels and CSS scores (r = -0.359, P <0.05). After performing multivariate analysis of various risk factors, it found that BNP levels (OR = 3.5, 95 % CI 2.1 to 5.8, P < 0.01), advanced age (OR = 4.1,95% CI 1.7 to 9.2, P <0.01) and CSS scores (OR =2.6, 95% CI 1.6 to 4.3, P <0.01)were the independent predictors of poor outcome. Conclusions The increased BNP levels are the recent death and recurrent independent predictors in patients with acute cerebral infarction.

Objective To study the antibacterial substances produced by Musca domestica and heattreatment and electrophoresis isolation of the substances. Methods After the 3rd instar larval of Musca domestica being induced for 48 hours by pricking,the hemolymph was collected and bathed at 100 ℃ for 0,0.5,1,3,5 min. Antibacterial substances of Musca domestica was isolated by electrophoresis with acide polyacrylamide gel using 5,10,20,30 ?l doses. Results 20 ?l was the optimum dose both for bathed and non-bathed hemolymph. Water bath at 100 ℃ for 1 min was the optimum bath time for hemolymph. Comparing induced hemolymph with non-induced hemolymph,the protein of the induced hemolymph was increased in the number and content. After 100 ℃ bathed for 1 min,it showed that the bonds of hemolymph increased both in quantities and contents. Conclusion Optimum treatment is 100 ℃ bath for 1 min and 20 ?l of adding dose. Pricking inducing can produce new proteins in hemolymph, which are the new induced antibacterial substances.

Objective To investigate the efficiency,decision of intra-operative puncture route,treatment of perioperative complications and discuss the other relative problems of the treament for lumbar disc herniation with percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy.Methods To excise the nucleus pulpesus under percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy,use the Macnab standard,visual analogue scale and infrared thermal imaging to estimate the efficiency.Results Among followed-up of 208 patients,182 patients were excellent and good outcome,23 patients favorable,2 patients fair,0 patient poor.The leg and back VAS was a significant improvement 1 week post-operation compared with pre-operation (P ＜ 0.05),but no statistical difference among 3 months,6 months,12 months and 1 week post-operation (P ＞ 0.05).The infrared thermal imaging point out that the legs skin temperature of D-value was a significant improvement post-operation compared with pre-operation (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The method excised the nucleus pulpesus,and provided the spine maximum protection about the stability and flexibility.Intra-operative puncture route of individuation design can reduce the complications of intervertebral foramen perioperative,and the key to improve the effectiveness.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the analeptic action of Xingnaojing injection(XNJI) in patients undergoing total intravenous anesthesia and the possible mechanism.METHODS: 60 patients undergoing selective abdominal operation with tracheal intubation(scored grade Ⅰ or grade Ⅱ using ASA score) were transferred to post-anesthctic ICU(PACU) after surgery and randomly divided into two groups of 30 each: X group(XNJI 0.5 mL?kg-1) and C group(control group).The X group received XNJI(0.5 mL?kg-1) by drip infusion within 10 minutes,while C group received same amount of normal saline.The vocal reaction recovery time,autonomous breath recovery time,extubation time and duration of PACU stay were recorded.The mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR),the concentrations of Epinephrine(E),and Norepinephrine(NE) and ?-endorphin(?-EP) in arterial blood were detected at 0,5,15,30 and 45 minutes before and after medication.RESULTS: No significant differences were noted for X group in hemodynamics parameters after medication as compared with before medication,but significant differences were noted for C group at 30 min and 45 min when compared with before medication or compared with X group at the same different time points.The vocal reaction recovery time,autonomous breath recovery time,extubation time and the duration of PACU stay were all significantly shorter in X group than in C group(P

Objective To evaluate the relationship between the mechanism underlying docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-induced regulation of angiopoietin expression and Src-suppressed C kinase substrate (SSeCKS) in human brain vascular pericytes (HBVPs) subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation and restoration (OGD/R).Methods HBVPs were seeded in 96-well or in 6-well plates at a density of 2× 105 cells/ml and divided into 5 groups (n =18 each) using a random number table:control group (group C),OGD/R group,DHA group (group D),SSeCKS gene silencing group (group S) and SSeCKS gene silencing plus DHA group (group SD).The model of OGD/R injury was established as follows:the cells were subjected to O2-glucose deprivation for 24 h in glucose-and serum-free culture medium aerated with 94％ N2-5％ CO2-1％ O2 followed by restoration of O2-glucose supply for 6 h in high-glucose DMEM culture medium in normal atmosphere.DHA was added at 1 h before hypoxia with the final concentration of 40 μmol/L in group D.Small interfering RNA induced SSeCKS gene silencing in S and SD groups.Subsequently,DHA with the final concentration of 40 μmol/L was added at 1 h before hypoxia in group SD.At 6 h of reoxygenation,the cell survival rate was determined by CCK-8 assay,the amount of LDH released was detected using ELISA,and the expression of SSeCKS,angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1) and Ang-2 was detected by Western blot.Results Compared with group C,the cell survival rate was significantly decreased,the amount of LDH released was increased,the expression of SSeCKS and Ang-1 was down-regulated,the expression of Ang-2 was up-regulated,and Ang-1/Ang-2 ratio was decreased in group OGD/R,and the expression of SSeCKS was down-regulated in group S (P＜0.05).Compared with group OGD/R,the cell survival rate was significantly increased,the amount of LDH released was decreased,the expression of SSeCKS and Ang-1 was up-regulated,the expression of Ang-2 was down-regulated,and Ang-1/Ang-2 ratio was increased in group D (P＜O.05),and no significant change was found in the parameters mentioned above in group SD (P＞0.05).Compared with group D,the cell survival rate was significantly decreased,the amount of LDH released was increased,the expression of SSeCKS and Ang-1 was down-regulated,the expression of Ang-2 was up-regulated,and Ang-1/Ang-2 ratio was decreased in group SD (P＜0.05).Conclusion The mechanism by which DHA increases the ratio of Ang-1/Ang-2 may be totally related to up-regulation of SSeCKS expression in HBVPs subjected to OGD/R.

Objective To evaluate the effects of docosahexaenoic acid ( DHA) on the expression of angiotensin?2 ( Ang?2) and vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF) in rat brain microvascular endo?thelial cells (BMVECs) subjected to oxygen?glucose deprivation (OGD). Methods Primarily cultured rat BMVECs were divided into 3 groups ( n=18 each) using a random number table: control group ( group C) , OGD group and DHA group. The cells were cultured with glucose?free and serum?free DMEM culture medium in OGD and DHA groups. In group DHA, DHA 40μmol was added, and then the cells were ex?posed to 1%O2?5%CO2?94%N2 in an air?tight incubator. The cells were cultured in the normal glucose and normal oxygen conditions in group C. All the cells were cultured for 24 h. Cell apoptosis was detected using Annexin V∕propidium iodide flow cytometry assay, and the apoptosis rate was calculated. bjective To clarify the heart rate variability (HRV) changes in patients subjected to deliberate hypotension with alprostadil.Methods Eighty-six elderly patients scheduled for nasal endoscopic surgery in general anesthesia were divided into alprostadil group (group A) and nitroglycerin group (group N) with 43 cases each by random digits table.Hypotension was induced with alprostadil and nitroglycerin through continuous infusion respectively,and the mean arterial pressure (MAP) was reduced to about 25％-30％ of baseline MAP.The MAP,heart rate (HR),total power ( TP ),low frequency (LF),high frequency (HF),and LF/HF were continuously monitored and blood was taken for analysis of lactate (LAC) before deliberate hypotension (T0),at the time of dropping to target blood pressure (T1),at 5 and 30 min after deliberate hypotension (T2 and T3),stopping deliberate hypotersion (T4) and 30 min after recovery from hypotension (T5).Results HR at T1-T4 was faster than that at T0in group N(P ＜ 0.05),and faster than that in group A( P ＜ 0.05 ),HR at T5 was faster than that at T0 in group N( P ＜ 0.05 ),but HR was stable at T1-T5 in group A (P ＞ 0.05 ).There was no significant difference in LAC of group A and group N whether in interior group or between two groups (P＞ 0.05).TP,LF and HF at T1-T4 were lower than those at T0 in two groups ( P ＜ 0.05 ),HF at T1-T4 was higher in group A than that in group N(P ＜ 0.05 ) ; LF/HF was no change at T1-T4 compared with that at T0 in group A (P ＞ 0.05),but increased in group N (P ＜ 0.05 ) which was higher than that in group A at the same time ( P ＜ 0.05 ) ;TP,LF and HF was recovered at Ts in two groups,and HF at T5 in group A was higher than that in group N( P ＜ 0.05 ) ; LF/HF at T5 in group A maintained the level at T0,but decreased in group N and lower than that at T5 in group N(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Alprostadil for deliberate hypotension is more likely to maintain cardiac autonomic nerve balance that is helpful for perioperative security of elderly patients.
