Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(07):-
Objective To optimize an extracting technology for Tongluo granule by orthogonal design. Methods Water-extracting fraction:with the weight of water-extracting fraction and paeoniflorin content as the indexes, extracting times, water volume and extracting time were screened by L9(34) orthogonal test,Alcohol-extracting fraction:with the weight of alcohol-extracting fraction and hesperidin content as the indexes, alcohol concentration, extracting times, alcohol volume and extracting time were screened by L9(34) orthogonal test. Results The optimal extraction conditions were as follows:water-extracting fraction: extracting 3 times with 12-fold water,1.5 hours for each time;alcohol-extracting fraction:refluxing and extracting 2 times with 10-fold 60% alcohol,1.5 hours for each time. Conclusion The results can provide theoretical basis for production of Tongluo granule.
3. Effects of Jianpisanjie pills on the gastro-intestinal functions
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2014;49(7):564-566
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Jianpisanjie (JPSJ) pills on the gastro-intestinal functions by animal experiment. METHODS: With gastric evacuation and gastrointestinal propulsion movement of mice obstructed by atropine sulphate, and the emesis of pigeon resulted by copper sulfate, the effects of JPSJ on gastrointestinal function was investigated, the effects on vomit latent period and emesis times were also studied. The model of hepatoma H22 bearing mice was established. After weighting, the mice were randomized into 5 groups, they were the control group, the high, middle, low dosages of JPSJ, and the positive-control group. Then they were treated with chemotherapy and administrated with subject drugs. When the trial ended, the weight and food intake of H22 bearing tumor were determined. RESULTS: Different dosage of JPSJ could increase the gastric evacuation rate and gastrointestinal propulsion rate, prolong the vomit latent period and emesis times of pigeon. And the pills also could reduce the side-effects of chemotherapy, such as weight of mice and food intake. CONCLUSION: JPSJ could promote the gastro-intestinal function, improve the weight loss and less food intake resulted by chemotherapy, and may be adjuvant drug for tumor.
4.Relationship between Prognosis of Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome and Migraine
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To study the proportion of cyclic vomiting syndrome(CVS) developing to migraine by the medium term prognosis, and explore the relationship between CVS and migraine. Methods Twenty-eight of 38 cases who had identified in our clinical records were traced ,each child was matched to a control, and they all conducted a telephone interview by a standardized question. Results Ninteen(46%) of the subject had continued CVS and(or) migraine, the prevalence of past or present migraine in subjects(46%)was significantly higher than that in control group(10.7%)(P=0.003).Conclusion The progonosis of CVS is closely related to migraine, many of the suffers of CVS tend to develop migraine.
5.The Effect of bFGF on Xeograft of Rat.
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1997;32(2):472-479
The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of basic-fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on the xenograft for radial bone defect in adult rats. Twenty adult Wistar rats weighing between 200 and 250g were divided into two groups; bFGF group (10 rats, 20 radiuses) and non-bFGF group (10 rats, 20 radiuses). A segmental bone defect measuring 5mm in length was made at both radiuses 10mm proximal to the wrist joint. The defect was filled with xenograft (Lubboc) measuring 3x3x5 mm in size. The xenograft was treated with 400 ng/ml bFGF (recombinant human basic-fibroblast growth factor ) mixed with liquid collagen (Vitrogen 100) in the bFGF group, but with collagen alone in the non- bFGF group. At 6 and 12 weeks after the treatment, the radiuses were harvested and examined histologically and the area of the remained xenograft not replaced by host bone was measured by image analysis system (VIDAS) on mid-sagittal section. The new bone formation and maturation from the differentiation of osteoblast was more remarkable in the bFGF group than in the non-bFGF group. At the time of 6 and 12 weeks after the treatment, the mean of the remained xenograft area was significantly smaller in the bFGF (9.16+/-0.49mm2, 6.20+/-0.30mm2) than in the non-bFGF group (12.16+/-0.59mm2, 10.07+/-0.48mm2) (P<0.001). In comparison with the areas of new bone replacemet area between 6 week and 12 week groups, sigificant and remarkable new bone replacement area could be achieved in the bFGF group than in the non-bFGF group (P<0.05). From these results, it is suggested that bFGF might increase the replacement of xenograft by new host bone and accelerate the healing process for the segmental bone defect of the radius in adult rats.

The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1980;15(3):596-598
Aneurysmal bone cyst is a rare, non-neoplastic condition, which was first coined by Jaffe and Lichtenstein in 1942. Clavicle is an unusual site for aneurysmal bone cyst. Authors present a case of aneurysmal bone cyst which was found in the right clavicle of a 5 years old boy, because of its rarity of site of predilection.

Ophthalmology in China 2006;0(06):-
Objective To explore the rate of incidence of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)in patients with idiopathic in- tracranial hypertension(IIH).Design Restrospective case series.Participants 92 cases with idiopathic intracranial hypertension.Meth- otis All patients diagnosed with papilledema from January 1,2000 through May 1,2007 at our ophthalmology center.Consecutive pa- tients with a diagnosis of papilledema were identified.Patients with space-occupying lesions, hydrocepbalus,or meningitis were excluded. The remaining patients were evaluated with lumbar puncture, magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and magnetic resonance venography (MRV).Main Outcome Measures The rate of incidence of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)in patients with idiopathic in- tracranial hypertension(IIH).Results Excluding patients with mass lesions, meningitis,or hydrocephalus, the occurrence of CVST was 7 (7.6%)of 92 patients with presumed IIH.One additional patients had a diagnosis of suspected CVST.Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis was diagnosed in 1 of the 7 patients with MRI alone, whereas it was evident in all 7 patients with MRV.Conclusions Cerebral venous si- nus thrombosis accounts for 7.6% of patients with presumed IIH in our ophthalmology services.Magnetic resonance venography in com- bination with MRI is recommended to identify this subgroup of patients.(Ophthalmol CHN,2007,16:410-413)

OBJECTIVE:To provide for rational use of Tripterygium glycosides tablet clinically. METHODS:The utilization of Tripterygium glycosides tablet were collected from hospital information system(HIS)in our hospital during Jun. 2012-Jun. 2014. Then the data about the basic information, patients’age, departments and diagnosis, were analyzed by the Excel. RESULTS:The application of Tripterygium glycosides tablet remained stable since Jun. 2012. There were 4 600 prescriptions in average every year, and the age of patients was distributed from 11 to 90. Tripterygium glycosides tablet was mainly used in rheumatology department (52.11%),followed by TCM rheumatology department(20.62%),skin disease and venereal disease department(18.15%),ne-phrology department(3.52%)and integrated traditional and western medicine cardiology department(1.77%). It was mainly used to treat rheumatoid arthritis,Sjogren's syndrome, polymyalgia rheumatica, osteoporosis and nephrotic syndrome. CONCLUSIONS:The application of Tripterygium glycosides tablet as immunosuppressant is widely used, but the age of patient is with wide distribu-tion;the narrow gap exists between minimum effective dose and minimum lethal dose;so ADR should be concerned closely.
