Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2011;32(6):650-654
Objective To explore the value of computed tomographic DacryocystographyCT-DCGand computed tomographic three-dimensional3Dreconstruction with lacrimal passages in asymptomatic lacrimal flow patients with nasal structural abnomalities. Method: In 2006-2010, 18 nasal structural abnomalities cases with asymptomatic lacrimal flow and nasal obstruction were enrolled, the lacrimal flow caused by ocular region was obviated. Of all the 18 hypertrophic inferior turbinate cases, there were 12 cases accompanied with nasal septum deviation. The radiofrequency ablation of inferior turbinate and nasal septum deviation surgery under nasaI endoscope were takenThe CT-DCG and 3D reconstruction examines were observed preoperative and postoperative. All the patients were followed-up for 12 months. Result: 18 nasal structural abnomalities were corrected. The nasal obstruction were recoveried and improved in 1477.8%and 422.2% cases respectively. The symptom of epiphora had disappeared and improved in 1372.2% and 5 cases27.8%. Partial obstruction of the internal ostium was found preoperative and resolved postoperative with CT-DCG and 3D reconstruction. Conclusion: CT-DCG and 3D reconstruction can evaluate the asymptomatic alterationsof the normal lacrimal outflow in cases with nasal structural abnomalities, suggesting that they have great value in clinical applications.
6. Determination of anthraquinones in Dabaidu capsules by quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(23):2039-2044
OBJECTIVE: To establish a auantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS) method for determining the content of anthraquinones in Dabaidu capsules(traditional Chinese medicines). METHODS: The relative correction factors (RCFs) of emodin to rhein, chrysophanol, and physcion were determined on a C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5μm) with methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid (85:15) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL · min-1. The column temperature was set at 25°C. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. The relative retention time (RRT) was used to define the target peak. RESULTS: The calibration curves for rhein, emodin, chrysophanol, and physcion showed good linearity in the ranges of 5.724 × 10-2-0.5724 μg, 4.584 × 10-2 -0.4584 μg, 6.368 × 10-2-0.6368 μg and 6.548 × 10-2 - 0.6548 μg, r(0.9997-0.9999), respectively. The recoveries were (97.8 ± 1.4)%, (100.7 ± 1.0)%, (98.6 ± 0.6)% and (97.0 ± 1.4)%, respectively. The RCFs were 1.19, 1.40 and 1.06. CONCLUSION: The method is simple, rapid, accurate and reliable. It can be applied to control the quality of anthraquinones in Dabaidu capsules.

International Eye Science 2007;7(4):895-899
· AIM: To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravitreal injection of plasmin, hyaluronidase, or the combination of the two in inducing posterior vitreous detachment (PVD).· METHODS: 15 mini-type pigs were assigned to three groups (Group A, B and C), 5 in each group. One eye of each pig was intravitreally injected with the studying agent, and the fellow eye was used as control. Group A received a vitreous injection of hyaluronidase 50U (0.1mL); group B received plasmin 0.5U (0.1mL); group C received plasmin 0.5U (0.05mL) combined with hyaluronidase 50U (0.05mL). The fellow eyes in each group were injected with 0.1mL balanced salt solution (BSS). All the pigs were examined with slit-lamp biomicroscope, direct and indirect ophthalmoscope, B-scan and electroretinograph (ERG). After 7 days, the animals were killed and the eyes were enucleated and examined with light microscope, transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope.· RESULTS: B-scan examination showed that one eye of Group A and two eyes of Group B had partial PVD at 1st day after injection and one eye of Group C at 1 hour after injection. On the 7th day, B-scan, light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that all the eyes of Group A and Group B had partial PVD, while none of the control eyes had PVD. Rank sum test for scanning electron microscopy results of all the groups showed P <0.005.Furthermore, the comparisons between every two groups were made. The results of analyses were as follows: P>0.05 between the drug injected eyes of Group A and Group B, P<0.05 between Group B and Group C, Group A and Group C.The b-wave and a-wave amplitudes of ERG showed no significant difference either between preinjection and postinjection in all groups or between the drug injected eyes and the control eyes in each group. Light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy revealed no damage to the retinal structure.· CONCLUSION: Intravitreal injection of hyaluronidase 50U or plasmin 0.5U or their combination can produce PVD effectively and quickly without retinal functional or structural toxicity. The combination of the two proteases was proved to be synergetic.
