Cutaneous pruritus is a kind ofdermatosis without primary lesions, which only manifested as the symptoms of secondary scratches and scabbing.Through the overview of such aspects of pruritus as definition, pathogenesis, treatment based on syndrome differentiation, patent medicines, the combination therapy, external treatment by Chinese medicine, the Chinese herb fumigation and steaming therapy, as well as daily nursing were summaried.

Objective To translate the English version of Control Attitudes Scale-Revised (CAS-R) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of CAS-R in patients with heart disease.Methods Totally 125 patients with heart disease were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of CAS-R.Results The internal consistency coefficient of the Chinese version of CAS-R ranged from 0.735 to 0.862.Factor analysis got three factors,which explained 54.128％ of the total variance.Using BDI as an external criterion,the correlation coefficients of the CAS-R and BDI scores were-0.59.Pearson coefficient with three dimensions of BDI were-0.48、-0.51 and 0.42.Conclusions The Chinese version of CAS-R has been proved to be reliable and valid.It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of perceived control in patients with heart disease.

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP)in the treatment of patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and its influence on pregnancy outcome.Methods 62 women with CIN who underwent LEEP were selected as treatment group,and 63 women with CIN who did not undergo LEEP in the same period were selected as control group.Then the curative effect and the pregnancy outcome were observed.Results The total effective rate was 93.65％ in the treatment group and 76.19％ in the control group,the difference was significant (x2 =7.034,P ＜ 0.01).The operation blood loss,operation time and the day of colporrhagia after operation in the treatment group were less than those in the control group(all P ＜ 0.05).There were no significant differences in the gestational age,incidence rates of abortion and cesarean section between the two groups (all P ＞ 0.05),while there were significant difference in the incidences of preterm delivery,premature rupture of membrane and low birth weight infant (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion LEEP is an effective treatment for patients with CIN,which can increase the incidence rates of preterm delivery,premature rupture of membrane and low birth weight infant,but not increase the gestational age,incidence rates of abortion and cesarean section.

To investigate the psychological difference in abdominal aortic aneurysm patients before and after operation and its influence on life quality, 24 patients who can understand and complete the questionnaire were enrolled in the study, the inquiry was performed after admission and discharge with the standard SCL 90 table. The results showed that the general conditions, depression, anxiety, compulsive symptoms and fear of the patients had marked differences before and after operation. It is concluded that operation of abdominal aortic aneurysm can not only prevent the rupture of aneurysm but also relieve the patients′ psychological pressuer and improve their life quality.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the determination of 100 pesticide residues in Morus alba. METHODS:LC-MS/MS was conducted on the column of ZORBAX Eclipse plus C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile (containing 5% water, 0.1% formic acid,5 mmol/L ammonium formate)- water(containing 0.1% formic acid,5 mmol/L ammonium formate)(gradient elution)at a flow rate of 0.4 ml/min,column temperature was 40 ℃,injection volume was 5 μl;MS conditions:ionization source was electrospray ionization with positive ion mode,scanning mode was dynamic MRM,scanning time window was 2 min;atomiz-ing gas was nitrogen,atomizing gas pressure was 40 psi,drying gas flow rate was 5 L/min,capillary voltage was 4 000 V,and ion spray voltage was 500 V. RESULTS:The linear range of 100 pesticide residues was 2.4-150 ng/ml(r>0.990 0),recovery was 69.3%-128.2%,and the determination limit was 0.003-16 μg/kg. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,stable and reproduc-ible,and can be used for the determination of pesticide residues in M. alba.

Objective To investigate the number and distribution of dendritic cells in normal endometrium of reproductive age during the normal menstrual cycle .Methods Normal endometrial samples were collected from 40 women of reproductive age . 20 endometrium samples at the proliferative phase (day 6th to 10th) and 20 endometrium samples at the window of implantation(day 20th to 24th) were obtained .These patients underwent intrauterine exploration before IVF and ET resulting from tubal resec-tion or male factor infertility .Endometrial tissue was collected with a pipelle aspirator .Sections were stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) to identify the morphological characteristics of endometrial tissues .The Envision two-step immunohistochemical staining technique was used to detect the expression of CD1a and CD83 in the endometrium .Normal human skin and tonsil were used as pos-itive control tissues for CD1a and CD83 ,respectively .The serum levels of ovarian steroid hormones were measured to analyze their relationship with the expression of CD1a and CD83 .Results CD1a + DCs were found in all samples of window of implantationand most samples of the proliferative phase (18/20 ,90% ) .DCs showed irregular shape with different processes and were buffy in cell membrane ,mainly in stroma around grand and blood vessels .The density of CD1a + DCs at the window of implantation were (18 .2 ± 5 .76)cells/mm2 ,significantly higher than that at the proliferative phase [(6 .5 ± 4 .05)cells/mm2 ,P < 0 .05] .CD83 was considered as the marker for mature DCs .However ,immunohistochemistry with specific antibody revealed no CD83 + DCs were found in human emdometrium in the present study .During the menstrual cycle ,the expression of CD1a+ DCs in endometrium (the density of CD1a + DCs) correlated with serum progesterone level(r= 0 .630 ,P< 0 .01) .Serum estradiol showed no correlation with the density of CD1a + DCs(P> 0 .05) .Conclusion Increased CD1a+ immature DCs at the window of implantation in endometri-um may play an important role in the establishment of maternal-fetal tolerance .

AIM:To observe the characteristics of estrous cycle of female ICR mice and ovariectomized mice that had reached sexual maturity stage .METHODS:ICR mice were randomly divided into 3 groups, normal group, sham operation group and ovariectomized group .After ovariectomy and sham operating , at the 8th day, the mice were taken vagi-nal smears twice daily (09:00 and 16:00) for 12 consecutive days.The feature of vulva in the mice and vaginal smear cy-tology, occurrence rate of regular estrous cycle , duration of estrous cycle and each stage duration of estrous cycle were re -corded and observed .RESULTS:The characteristics of estrous cycle in normal group and sham operation group were simi-lar.Nearly 85%of the ICR mice in sexual maturity stage showed regular estrous cycle .The majority manifested 6-day cy-cle (83%), and only a small number exhibited 5-day cycle (17%).Compared with 5-day group, the duration of oestrus was significantly increased in 6-day group (P<0.05).The number and kind of the cells in vaginal smear were a little dif-ferent between 5-day and 6-day groups.The ovariectomized mice which showed irregular estrous cycle (76%) were charac-terized by continuous diestrus .CONCLUSION:Female ICR mice have the strain characteristics of estrus cycle .

Objective We aimed to translate the English version of Perceived Control of Asthma Questionnaire (PCAQ) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of PCAQ in asthma patients.Methods Totally 125 patients with asthma were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of PCAQ.The results underwent reliability and validity test.Results The Cronbach's α coefficient of the Chinese version of PCAQ ranged from 0.815 to 0.904,higher than 0.7.The split half coefficient was 0.647; the test-retest reliability was 0.818,which showed that internal consistency of Chinese version of PCAQ was good.The content validity index was 0.952.Factor analysis got 3 factors,which explained 46.079％ of the total variance; the factor loading of each item was ＞0.4.Conclusions The Chinese version of PCAQ has been proved to be rehable and valid.It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of perceived control in asthma patients.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the safety of several pretreatment protocols of paclitaxel liposome as a chemotherapy for upper gastrointestinal tumor.METHODS:26 patients with upper gastrointestinal tumors receiving paclitaxel liposome in combination with other chemotherapeutics were enrolled.The patients were injected intravenously with dexamethasone 10 mg (i ) or dexamethasone 5 mg(ii ) or prednisolone 40 mg(iii ) 30 minutes prior administration of paclitaxel liposome,or treated with oral dexamethasone at a dose of 6 mg(i ),4.5 mg(ii ) or 2.25 mg(iii ) 12 hours or 2 hours prior administration of paclitaxel liposome.RESULTS:Chemotherapy- induced toxic adverse reactions manifested as gradeⅠ～Ⅱleucopenia,anemia, nausea and vomiting,but recovered after symptomatic treatment.Pretreatment- related adverse reactions manifested as insomnia, hyperglycemia,fatigue and vertigo,but no allergic shock or treatment- related death occurred.CONCLUSION:Intravenous injection of prednisolone 40 mg 30 minutes prior administration of paclitaxel liposome or oral administration of dexamethasone 2.25 mg 12 hours and 2 hours prior administration of paclitaxel liposome are preferable pretreatment methods of paclitaxel liposome.
