1.Advance in Research of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Cerebral Palsy (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2007;13(12):1124-1126
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is now an important diagnostic technology in determining brain structure injury. It has important meaning for determining the pathological type of CP, MRI findings in CP showed a good correlation with CP type, gestational age, etiology and injury time. In this article, the authors reviewed the advance in research on relationship between changes in MRI and gestational age, etiology and injury time.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(13):-
Objective To synthesize soybean isoflavones, and their 7-alkaline analogues and to evaluate their uterotrophic activities and anti-uterotrophic activities preliminarily. Methods The target molecules were synthesized by multi-step from resorcinol and p-substituted phenylacetic acid as the starting material. Their uterotrophic activities and anti-uterotrophic activities were evaluated by female mouse at the concentration of 1.1?10 -2 ?mol/ml and 1.85?10 -3 ?mol/ml. Results Twenty-two compounds were synthesized, among which 4 intermediates and 12 isoflavones are new compounds. Conclusion All the target molecules except for 6a show weak uterotrophic activities and high anti-uterotrophic activities.

The treatment effect of primary and metastatic hepatic carcinoma after local intervention?al therapy is closely related to the prognosis of patients. Traditional imaging modalities such as CT, MRI and ultrasound can only provide anatomical information in monitoring treatment response. In recent years, PET/CT has been widely used in monitoring treatment response for tumors. Many studies have compared the effi?cacy of PET/CT with that of traditional imaging modalities in monitoring the response of primary and meta?static hepatic carcinoma after interventional therapy. This review summarizes recent progress in this field.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2007;13(1):45-47
The occurrence of epilepstic seizures in patients with cerebral palsy (CP) remains a serious event and is very disruptive for children who already suffered from orther disabilties. Data from population-based studies or neurodevelopmental clinic studies showed that 8%~62% of patients with CP suffer from epilepsy. The incidence is highest in spastic tetraplegia and hemiplegia. Half of the patients were onset within the first year of age. Children with tetraplegia CP tended to have an earlier onset of epilepsy than chlidren with other CP types. Partial seizures were the most common seizure types, followed by infantile spasms and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Low birth weight, neonatal seizures, family history of epilepsy, lower intelligence and grey matter damage were found to be related to significantly increased risk of epilepsy. Epilepsy in children wih CP usually had poor outcome, half of them were intractable and needed polytherapy. Only 37%~65.2% of patients became seizure-free.

Objective To investigate the technical feasibility and oncological safety of EPMR for early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions. Methods Clinicopathological data, procedure quality and complications of 70 patients with early esophageal cancer or precancerous lesions were retrospectively ana?lysed. The technical safety and feasibility were assessed, and the complications were investigated through postoperative surveillance. The results were compared with published data from two high?quality meta?analysis studies on ESD. Results In a total of 70 patients who underwent EPMR, 35?7%( 25/70) were diagnosed as having early esophageal cancer and 64?3%( 45/70) atypical hyperplasia. And tumor size greater than 2 cm was 78?6%(55/70). The mean EPMR time was(28?31±9?49) minutes. The R0 resection rate of EPMR was 88?6%(62/70) and no perforation occurred. The bleeding rate was 21?4%(15/70). The esoph?ageal stricture rate was 1?4%( 1/70) . The recurrence rate was 2?9%( 2/70) . Compared with published ESD data from the two studies, EPMR showed shorter procedure time, lower curative rate and lower rates of stric?ture and perforation, but slightly higher rates of bleeding and recurrence. Conclusion Both EPMR and ESD are feasible and effective for early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions. The curative results of EPMR are similar to ESD, with shorter procedure time, but higher bleeding and recurrence rates.

Chinese Journal of Pancreatology 2009;9(2):112-114
Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of toll receptor-4 (TLR-4) and the increase of blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability in the rats with acute pancreatitis. Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 8 groups:control group;acute edematous pancreatitis (AEP) 2 h,6 h groups;acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP) 2 h,6 h,12 h,24 h,48 h groups with 8 rats in each group. The BBB permeability, pathological score of pancreas,TLR-4 expression were determined and the relationships between them were analyzed. Results The BBB permeability in control group;acute edematous pancreatitis (AEP) 2 h,6 h groups;ANP 2 h,6 h,12 h,24 h,48 h groups were 1.55±0.29,1.64±0.17,1.69±0.24,1.89±0.12,2.66±0.32,2.91±0.29,2.89±0.69 and 1.84±0.07,respectively;the pathological scores of pancreas were 0,2.38±0.92,3.13±0.64,8.50±1.07,9.75±0.71,10.25±1.28,11.13±1.25 and 10.13±1.13,respectively;there was no significant difference between AEP groups and control group, while there was significant difference between AEP groups and ANP groups (P<0.05 orP <0.01).BBB permeability was correlated with pancreatic injury ( r = 0.626,P <0.01).There was no TLR-4 mRNA and protein expression in the control and AEP group, while they were significantly expressed in ANP groups, and the expression were positively related with BBB permeability ( r =0.208,P = 0.027 ).Conclusions BBB permeability was present in the course of ANP.Activation of TLR-4 signal pathway may be involved in the BBB permeability increase caused by ANP.

Objective To explore the relation between the infection of Helicobacter pylori (H .pylori)and colorectal tumor. Methods From January 2012 to January 2013,the medical data of 152 patients with colorectal tumor were collected.According to the findings of colonoscopy examination, the patients were divided into the colorectal adenoma group (84 cases)and the colorectal carcinoma group (68 cases).A total of 88 healthy individuals were also enrolled as control. The differences of H .pylori infection were compared among the colorectal adenoma group, the colorectal carcinoma group and the healthy control group. The distribution of H .pylori infection in different age, gender and nation was analyzed in colorectal tumor group.According to the location, maximum diameter, number, type of pedicle and pathological type of adenoma, the colorectal adenoma group was divided into subgroups and the condition of H .pylori infection was compared among the subgroups.Chi-square test was used in the statistical analysis. Results The positive rates of H .pylori infection of colorectal adenoma group, colorectal carcinoma group and healthy control group were 70.2% (59/84),72.1 % (49/68)and 53.4%(47/88),respectively,where the former two groups were both higher than that of the healthy control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =5 .147 and 5 .637,both P <0.05).Regarding the H .pylori infection, there was no difference in age, gender and ethnicity among 152 patients with colorectal tumor (all P > 0.05 ).Among 84 patients with colorectal adenoma, there was no statistical difference in the positive rate of H .pylori infection in different location, maximum diameter, number, type of pedicle and pathological type of adenoma (all P > 0.05).Conclusion H .pylori may have promoting effects on the genesis and development of colorectal tumor.
