Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;35(10):13-14
ObjectiveTo study the change of serum interferon- γ(IFN- γ ) and interleukin-4(IL-4)level in children suffered from cough variant asthma after montelukast combined with loratadine therapy.MethodsForty-six patients of children cough variant asthma were recruited and accepted montelukast combined with loratadine therapy for 8 weeks. The changes of serum IFN-γ and IL-4 before and after therapy were compared.ResultsCompared with before therapy, the level of serum IFN- γwas decreased [ (59.94 ± 9.43) ng/L vs.(39.94 ± 9.07) ng/L ] and IL-4 was increased[ ( 48.78 ± 22.23 ) ng/L vs.(60.78 ±16.48) ng/L] after therapy, there were significant differences (P <0.05).ConclusionMontelukast combined with loratadine in the treatment of children cough variant asthma can improve the balance of IFN- γ/IL-4,which deserve further study.
2.Scientific attitude towards the interventional treatment of the lesions of esophagus and esophagogastric junction
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
The diseases of esophagus and stomach possess highest morbidity in China. For decades the interventional radiology has effectively solved a lot of clinical puzzles upon the lesions of esophagus and esophagogastric junction. Rapid development and extensive application offen induce the exaggeration of indication and improper choice of the proceduce, resulting in clinical disposal for various complications. Scientific attitude should be taken on the utilization of interventional method: possessing rich imaging and clinical knowledge; understanding the property of various interventional instruments; strictly grasping indications of arterial infusion chemotherapy, balloon catheter dilation and stent placement; perfectly mastering the operation technology; well controlling complications.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
AIM: To induce preconditioning and oxidative stress by H_2O_2 in HepG2 cells. METHODS: The different doses of H_2O_2 were used to induce apoptosis in HepG2 cells, which was estimated by AO/EB staining, MTT assay and flow cytometry. RESULTS: The different group of HepG2 cells stained with AO/EB showed different staining state. The high dose of H_2O_2 resulted in the increase in apoptosis rate of HepG2 cells and made MTT activity decreased. However, after pretreated with low dose of H_2O_2, the apoptosis rate was decreased and MTT activity was increased. CONCLUSION: The high dose H_2O_2 induced apoptosis in HepG2 cells and the low dose H_2O_2 protected HepG2 cells against the oxidative stress.

Objective To analyse the clinical manifestation of thoracostomach-airway fistula in order to improve the recognition. Methods The clinical information in 20 cases with thoracostomach-airway fistulas was analyzed retrospectively. Results The main clinical manifestations were choke after drinking or eating, inhalation pneumonia, fever, becoming thin ness, aridity, turbulence of water and electrolyte,et al.The stomach radiography showed thoracostomach-tracheal fistulas in six cases,thoracostomach-carina fistula in fwo cases,thoracostomach-left main bronchial fistulas in 10 cases and thoracostomach-right main bronchial fistula in two cases, vespectively. Conclusions Thoracostomach-airway fistula could be diagnosed according to the specific clinical significances and stomach radiography.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To explore the technical feasibility and sensitivity of percutaneous transhepatic cholangiobiopsy in malignant obstructive jaundice, together with the guidance for clinical managements.. Methods 31 patients with obstructive jaundice after percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography and drainage were undesgone percutaneous transhepatic cholangiobiopsy. The technique was performed through an preexisted percutaneous transhepatic tract with a 8 Frerch sheath, multiple specimens were obtained after passing the forceps for the biopsy. The specimens were fixed with formalin, and then taken for histopathologic diagnosis. Results The histopathologic diagnosis was acquired in 30 of 31 patients(sensitivity, 96.8%). Conclusions Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiobiopsy is an accurate, safety and reliable way, easy to perform with a histopathologic diagnosis sensitivity rate of 96.8%.

Objective To explore the role of platelet activating factor(PAF) and its receptor in portal hypertension in liver cirrhosis. Methods A model of hepatic cirrhosis was replicated in rat by intraperitoneal injection of CCL 4 for 8 weeks. The blood and hepatic PAF and PAF receptors contents were assayed with ELISA, RT-PCR and saturation binding technique. Results Compared with control rats, cirrhotic rats had higher hepatic PAF levels, hepatic PAF output, and plasma PAF levels, which were increased by 44%, 87.7% and 54.5%(P

Objective To compare the effects of Graves thyrotoxicosis patients treated by long-term use of anti-thyroid drug ( ATD) and without long-term use of ATD ,and to explore the application value and safety of ATD be-fore 131 I treatment. Methods 62 cases with Graves hyperthyroidism were divided into the two groups according to whether received the long-term ATD treatment. The curative effects, hormone level and safety were compared. Results The success rate of ATD group was 43.75%, the success rate of without ATD treatment group was 56.67%, the difference between the two groups had statistical significance (Ridit=15.152,P=0.000).The thyroid mass,FT3, FT4 ,TSH levels after treatment between two groups had no significant differences , but the difference of the highest iodine uptake rate in 24h had significant difference (t =6.954,P<0.05).The adverse reactions in ATD treated group and ATD untreated group were 7 cases(21.88%) and 3 cases(10.00%),there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ2 =4.563,P=0.032).Conclusion Long-term ATD therapy before 131I treatment can reduce the highest iodine uptake rate in 24h,reduce the clinical curative effect and increase adverse reaction rate .

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effects of serum from rats with burn injury on the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs). Methods Bone marrow was extracted from sacrificed Wistar rats and MSCs were then incubated in F-12 medium in the presence of fetal calf serum (FCS) (group F),normal rat serum (group N),or serum harvested from rats with burn injury(group B). Cells of the fifth passage were harvested to investigate the expression of CK and FⅧ by immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry. Results With immunohistochemical staining, both CK and FⅧ were positive in MSCs of group B and negative in the cells of the other two groups. The flow cytometry analysis showed that the positive rates of CK and FⅧ staining MSCs of group B were higher than that of the other two groups ( P 0.05). Conclusions The serum obtained from rats with burn injury could induce differentiation of MSCs to both epithelial cells and vascular endothelial cells, implying that serum after barm injury might promote the MSCs to participate in the process of wound repair.
