OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for high blood pressure of different formulas used.METHODS:The similar conventional prescriptions for high blood pressure were compared in respects of constitute of prescription,the machine of disease,main function of prescription,clinical application,etc.RESULTS:The similarity and difference of those prescriptions and the key points of clinical application were found out by analyzing the main function,constitute of prescription and mechanism of disease,etc.CONCLUSION:In the field of modern Chinese medicine,new treatment methods are put forward to some types of high blood pressure disease.It is must careful to indentify type of disease.Sound efficacy can be achieved when suitable prescription is applied according to the similarity and difference of prescriptions.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the main factors for ADR that is induced by Chinese medicine injection to promote clinical use of drug.METHODS: Literatures about ADR which was induced by Chinese medicine injection for cardiovascular disease were retrieved from CHKD from Jan.1998 to Jun.2009 and analyzed statistically with ADR as .RESULTS: 10 kinds of ADR which were caused by cardiovascular injection were listed.CONCLUSION: Medical personnel and patients should pay attention to numerous kind of ADR resulted from Chinese medicine injection and clinical manifestation.

OBJECTIVE: To attempt to apply the research method of evidence-based medicine for the scientific administration of pharmacy. METHODS: The meta-analysis method in evidence based medicine was applied,the pharmacy work basal protocols original sources were established as primary source or data for aggregate analysis. RESULTS: 15 basal protocols and 25 standard operating manual and the associated supervising system had been established. The key problems were discovered through the data analysis and which were solved accordingly. CONCLUSIONS: Applying the research method in evidence based medicine can facilitate digitalization, routinization, and institutionalization in the administration of pharmacy and greatly enhance the efficiency of administration.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the influence factors of plasma concentration of digoxin(SDC)and application of it in our hospital in order to promote rational use of digoxin. METHODS:445 cases treated with digoxin were collected from our hospital and plasma concentration of digoxin was detected. Multiple stepwise regressions were used to analyze current application of digoxin,relationship between SDC and factors including age,gender(Gen),departments(Dept),drug combination(Drug),serum creatinine concentration(SCR),dose. RESULTS:SDC was relation with age,gender(Gen),departments(Dept),drug combination(Drug),serum creatinine concentration(SCR),dose. CONCLUSION:There are many influence factors of SDC which are different among individual patients. In our survey,16.2% patients taking digoxin occurs adverse reactions. Objective To explore the spread patterns of retropharyngeal lymph node (RLN) metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods From July 2003 to March 2005, three hundred and three patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in initial treatment were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) before treatment, meanwhile measured the minimal and maximal axial diameters, the longitudinal diameter and the central and craniocaudad locations of each positive RLN. Results A total number of 264 positive RLN were found in 177 patients. The minimal and maximal axial diameters and longitudinal diameter of positive RLN were 9.9, 12.9 and 22.4 mm, respectively. Ipsilateral metastatic RLN were noted as follows: two nodes in 21 patients, three nodes in 3 patients and four nodes in 1 patient. According to the longitudinal central location of 263 positive lateral RLN, the numbers of nodes at occipital bone, C1, C1/C2, C2, C2/C3 and C3 were 27, 166, 40, 23, 5 and 2, respectively; the mean minimal axial diameters of nodes were 6.8, 9.9, 12.5, 10.4, 9.3 and 8.0 mm, respectively. Conclusion Multiple metastatic ipsilateral RLN are not common in NPC. The rate of RLN metastasis shows the trend of decreasing from vertebral C1 to C3.The maximal diameters of RLN are in the C1/C2 intervertebral space, and reveal a decreasing frequency along the craniocaudal directions of occipital and vertebral C1.

Objective To observe the effect of depressive disorder on ventricular remodeling and its mechanism in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) rats. Methods Forty-six AMI Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham-operation (n=10), AMI (n=12), depression (n=12), neurostan by open field test, and the detection of angiotensin Ⅱ (Ag Ⅱ ), aldosterone (ALD), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) were performed, the pathological sections were observed under light and electron microscopes. Results Compared with sham-operation group, depression group had decreased values of squares crossing times, rearing times and grooming time, increased time of staying in the central square and defecation. Compared with depression group, AMI and neurostan treatment groups had increased values of squares crossing times, rearing times and grooming time,decreased time of staying in the central square and defecation (F=16. 9, 44.56, 71.79, 34.86,29. 18, P＜0.01). At the 4 week of test, the left and right ventricular relative weights (LVRW,RVRW) and thickness of interventricular septum were (1.63±0.15) mg/g, (0. 48±0. 10) mg/g and (1.75 ± 0. 38) mm in sham-operation group, the corresponding data were (2.06±0.21) mg/g,(0.62±0.10) mg/g and (2.25±0.30) mm in AMI group, (2.90±0.47) mg/g, (1.00±0.28) mg/gand (2.58±0.34) mm in depression group, (2.20±0.34) mg/g, (0.67±0.15) mg/g and (2. 25±0.23) mm in neurostan treatment group. Compared with sham-operation group, AMI, depression and neurostan groups had obviously increased values of LVRW, RVRW and thickness of interventricular septum. Compared with depression group, AMI and neurostan groups had decreased LVRW, RVRW and thickness of interventricular septum (F=6.31, 21.9, 115.7, 9.91, P＜0.05). And the depression also could aggravate edema and injury of ultrastructure in myocardial tissue. The values of AgⅡ , ALD, MDA and SOD were (1957.5±662.6) ng/L, (0.453±0.111) ng/L, (16. 00±3.03)nmol/L and (80.57 ± 7.00) U/ml in depression group, the corresponding data were (1143.8± 98.0)ng/L, (0.198±0.087) ng/L, (8.03 ± 0.44 ) nmol/L and (95.20 ± 4.87) U/ml in sham-operated group, (1407.5±255.8) ng/L, (0.295±0.027) ng/L, (11.18±4.30) nmol/L and (87.33±3.51)U/ml in AMI group, (1400.0±239.0) ng/L, (0.326±0.073) ng/L, (11.88±3.36) nmol/L and (89.13 ±0.17) U/ml in neurostan group. After 4 weeks, the values of Ag Ⅱ , ALD and MDA increased in depression group while the level of SOD reduced (F=6.58, 11.9, 11.39, 8. 82, P＜0.05). Conclusions Depressive disorder after AMI in rats can aggravate ventricular remodeling and lower the ability of antioxygen.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the situation of antibiotics used in Beijing Children’s Hospital in the years1996～2001.METHODS:All data related to use of antibiotics was collected from Financial Office and Pharmaceutic Section in our hospital.RESULTS:With the increase of GDP,expenses for antibiotics of our hospital,in the period1996～2001,maintained a high level and ranked the first place continuously.CONCLUSION:The situation of abuse of antibiotics in our hospital is still awful.

Objective To study the early expression of ca]pain Ⅱ and microtubule associated protein 2 (MAP2) mRNA in the hippocampus of the lateral fluid percussion injury rats. Methods 18 Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups. The changes of Calpaln Ⅱ and MAP2 mRNA in hippocampus 3 h after injury were detected by real-time PCR. Results Compared to the control group (n = 6), the expression for Ca]pain Ⅱ mRNA increased obviously(P <0.01)in the lateral fluid percussion injury group(n=6) ,the expression for MAP2 mRNA degraded obviously(P <0.01). Compared with the lateral fluid percussion injury group(n =6) ,the expression for calpuin Ⅱ mRNA in the mild hypothermia group degraded obviously (n = 6), the expression for MAP2 mRNA increased obviously(P <0.01). Conclusion Mild hypothermia may act as neuroprotection by inhibiting the expression of Ca]pain Ⅱ and easing the degradation of cytoskeleton.

Objective To compare the short-term effects and toxicity of one cycle of TPF regimen induction chemotherapy with that of two cycles of PF regimen induction chemotherapy in the N advanced local nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods A total of 47 patients initially treated with N advanced local NPC without distant metastasis from Jan 2007 to Dec 2008 were enrolled in this study. The TPF chemotherapy regimen was administered as follows: TAX 60 mg/m2, i.v. infusion on day 1st, cisplatin 80 mg/m2, i.v. infusion on day 1st and 5-Fu 800 mg/m2, bolus infusion in 96 hours on day lst-4th. The PF chemotherapy regimen was as follows: cisplatin 100 mg/m2, i.v. infusion on day 1 and 5-Fu 1000 mg/m2, bolus infusion in 96 hours on day lst-4th. Twenty-six patients received one cycle of TPF regimen and 21 patients received two cycles of PF regimen, with 21 days each cycle and a total of 3 courses in each group, then chemoradiotherapy with cisplatin 30 mg/m2 (weekly) was followed. Results The short-term efficacy was no significant difference between two groups, after one cycle TPF chemotherapy, the CR+PR rates of primary site and lymph nodes were 57.7 % and 69.2 %, respectively, while after two cycles PF chemotherapy in control group, those were 66.7 % and 71.4 %, respectively (P>0.05). In 3 months after treatment, the CR rates of primary site and lymph nodes in TPF group were 92.3 % and 88.7 %, respectively, while those in control group were 100.0 % and 90.5 %, respectively (P>0.05). The main adverse reactions were Grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ neutropenia and alopecia in TPF group. Conclusion Short-term effects of induction chemotherapy with one cycle of TPF regimen in the N advanced local NPC is satisfied, and the main toxicity is neutropenia.
