Objective To investigate clinical relevance of the acute Stanford B aortic dissection vascular repair time for treatment and prognosis. Methods A retrospective clinical data of our hospital treated 1 10 cases of vascular repair of acute aortic dissection type Stanford B were analyzed according to the onset to treatment time. They were divided into three groups:group A (onset to treatment time of 7 days),group B (onset to treatment time 14) and group C (onset to treatment time than 14 days);the three groups were observed after aortic repair status and prognosis related indicators. Results The true lumen false lumen diameter and maximum diameter ratio in group A was the largest (1.8 ±0.5),which was significantly higher than that of group B and group C (1.3 ±0.3)and (1.3 ± 0.2),the difference was statistically significant (F=7.352,P<0.05).Ratio of preoperative minimum true lumen diameter and the maximum diameter of the false lumen, ratio of postoperative maximum true lumen diameter and the maximum diameter of the false lumen were associated with the onset of the endovascular repair time, showed a negative correlation (r=-0.452,-0.281,all P<0.05).postoperative complication rate of group A was 12.8%,complica-tion rate of group B was 29.5%,complication rate of group C was 33.3%,data of group A was significantly lower than those of group B and group C,the difference were statistically significant (χ2 =4.024,4.721,all P<0.05).group A died three cases, group B had 1 patient died and in group C there was no deaths.Hospital stay and hospital costs of group A were significantly lower than those of group B and group C,the difference werestatistically significant (F=4.125,7.375,all P<0.05).Conclusion As soon as possible to implement acute aortic dissection stanford B aortic vascular repair could better improve outcomes, and reduce the cost of hospitalization and treatment. At the same time, it can reduce the incidence of complications and improve clinical safety.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Avastin on aquaporin4 (AQP4) expression in human retinal Müller cells in vitro under hypoxia, so as to explore the mechanism of Avastin treating retinal edema. The human Müller cells were cultured using the enzymatic digestion method. Müller cells were identified under the transmission electron microscopy and by using immunofluorescence staining. By using semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), the expression of AQP4 mRNA and VEGF mRNA in Müller cells cultured with 500 μmol/L CoCl(2) for 0, 3, 6, 12 and 24 h, and with 0, 100, 300, 500 and 700 μmol/L CoCl(2) for 24 h was detected. The expression of AQP4 mRNA in Müller cells cultured with 50 ng/mL exogenous vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) for 0, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 h, and with 0, 25, 50 and 75 ng/mL VEGF for 24 h was detected. Amplified cDNA products of AQP4 mRNA in Müller cells cultured with 500 μmol/L CoCl(2) and 200 μg/mL Avastin for 24 h were detected. The results showed that more than 95% cells displayed positive immunofluorescence reaction. Characteristic 8-10 nm intracellular filaments could be seen in the cytoplasm under the transmission electron microscopy. In the CoCl(2) experimental groups, the expression of AQP4 mRNA and VEGF mRNA in Müller cells was increased as compared with the control group. Alteration of AQP4 mRNA and VEGF mRNA levels showed a significantly positive correlation (r (2)=0.822, P<0.05). The expression of AQP4 mRNA in Müller cells was increased by VEGF. The expression of AQP4 mRNA was significantly decreased by Avastin as compared with the control group. It is suggested that Avastin can decrease the expression of AQP4 mRNA in human Müller cells under chemical hypoxic conditions partially via VEGF path, which may be one of the mechanisms of Avastin treating retinal edema.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of a combination of proton pump inhibitor(PPI) and hydrotalcite for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) induced ulcer. Methods Eightyone consecutive patients who underwent ESD were randomly assigned to either the group of PPI and hydrotalcite therapy ( drug combination group,n =41 ) or the PPI group ( n =40).Delayed bleeding rates were monitored and compared. The main upper abdomen symptoms 1-wk later and ulcer healing rates and ulcer diameter 4-wk later were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in delayed bleeding rate (P > 0.05 ).At the end of first week after ESD,the combination therapy was significantly more effective than the PPI alone in reducing frequencies and severity of upper abdominal pain and upper abdominal distention, while there was no significant difference between the two groups in relieving belch and nausea.A better ulcer healing rates and a smaller ulcer diameter were observed in the combination group at the end of 4 weeks ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusion The combination therapy of hydrotalcite and PPI can relieve upper abdominal symptoms and improve the healing rate of ESD induced ulcer.

ObjectiveIn order to compare the alteration of reelin-immunoreactive Cajal-Retzius cells (CR cells) in molecular layer of dentate gyrus of APPswe transgenic mice with wild type, the histochemical and developmental characteristics of CR cells were studied, therefore, the roles of CR cells in Alzheimer's disease would be revealed further. Methods The Thioflavine S staining, reelin immunofluorescence with or without reelin/glutamate and reelin/GABA immuno-double staining were carried out in the study. In the meantime, Western blotting was used to study the expression of reelin in hippocampi of the both wild type and transgenic mice. Results Reelin positive CR cells could be double-labeled with either glutamate or GABA immunostaining. Caspase-3 immunofluorescence demonstrated that some CR cells went through apoptosis during their development. Compared with wild type, CR cells in APPswe transgenic mice had significantly decreased in the molecular layer of the dentate gyrus. The result was supported with Western blotting analysis of reelin expression in hippocampus. Conclusion Reelin could be co-expressed with either glutamate or GABA, suggesting CR cells would be glutamatergic exciting neurons and GABAergic interneurons. The loss of CR cells during development probably was caused by the neuroapoptosis. Significant decrease of CR cells in hippocampus of APPswe transgenic mice indicated reelin may play an important role in AD pathological alterations.

Chinese Journal of Neonatology 2022;37(6):535-540
Objective:To study the early predictive value of lung ultrasound score for bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in preterm infants with gestational age ≤32 w.Methods:From the establishment of the databases PubMed, Medline, Embase, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health (CINAHL), Cochrane Library, CNKI, CQVIP and Wanfang databases to February 17, 2022, studies on BPD with lung ultrasound score were searched. Literatures were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The quality of the literature was evaluated and the eligible data were extracted. Stata 15.1 software was used for Meta-analysis.Results:Fourteen studies with a total of 1 645 preterm infants were included. The results showed that the sensitivity of the lung ultrasound score at 7 d of life predicting BPD was 0.71 (95% CI 0.64~0.77), the specificity was 0.83 (95% CI 0.74~0.89), and AUC was 0.81 (95% CI 0.78~0.84). At 14 d, the sensitivity was 0.64 (95% CI 0.59~0.69), the specificity was 0.89 (95% CI 0.72~0.96), and AUC was 0.68 (95% CI 0.64~0.72). Meta-analysis showed that sex, BA and birth weight were not sources of heterogeneity. Conclusions:Meta-analysis shows that lung ultrasound score has predictive value for BPD in preterm infants with GA ≤32 w, especially at 7 d of life. Lung ultrasound score is helpful in clinical decision-making.
