In order to observe the therapeutic effect of Eight Battle Points for simple obesity.Methods:In the treatment of 98 cases of the patients with obesity by the oblique puncture of long needles into Eight Battle Points,the body weight,body weight index (BWI),waist circumference,buttock circumference and fat distribution rate of the patients were measured and assessed respectively before and after the treatments.And the changes of complications of obesity were observed before and after the treatments.Results:There were significant differences (P＜0.05) in various indexes of obesity before and after acupuncture treatment.Conclusion:Acupuncture by puncturing Shenque(CV 8) plus Eight Battle Points is positive in the treatment of obesity and has a better therapeutic effect for complications of obesity.

In order to observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture plus facial paralysis rehabilitative exercise in the treatment of facial paralysis, 49 cases were treated by acupuncture plus facial paralysis rehabilitative exercise, and 45 cases were treated by single acupuncture for comparison. The total effective rate was 91.8% in the former and 62.2% in the latter. There is a significant difference (P ＜ 0.01) in the effective rate between the two groups.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of using three-dimensional reconstruction and incising software in facial fracture. Methods Twenty-nine patients of facial fracture were examined with spiral CT first and then the images were taken with three-dimensional reconstruction and incising software on work-station. 2D images, 3D images and incising images were evaluated. Results BZ 3D images were superior to 2D images in demonstrating the space relationship of facial fractures, such as the fracture location, range, fragments displacement. However 2D images were better in illustrating deep structure; The 3D images could illustrate deep structure as well as 2D images when combined with incising software. Conclusion 3D images can provide information of space relationship in assessing facial fracture. The range can be extended combining with the incising software, and do better for illustrating deep struction.

Purpose: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect in the treatment of infantile persisting diarrhea with the spine-pinching manipulation plus moxibustion.Methods: 110 cases of the sick children were randomly divided into 68 cases in the treatment group and 42 cases in the control group for comparative observation. The treatment group was treated by the spine-pinching manipulation and the control group was given the expectant treatment of western medicine. Results: The total effective rates were 97.0% and 81.0% in the treatment group and control group respectively, and the therapeutic effect in the treatment was better group than in the control group (P＜0.01). Conclusion: The treatment of infantile persisting diarrhea by the spine-pinching manipulation plus moxibustion could remarkably enhance the therapeutic effect and shorten the courses of the treatment.

In accordance with the principle to. tonify its mother in deficiency and to sedate its son in excess, 19 cases of epigastric pain were treated by Five Shu-Transmitting Points of the stomach meridian and the results showed cure in 15 cases, remarkable effect in 2 cases,improvement in 1 case, failure in 1 case and the effective rate being 94.7%.

In the review of the literature on the quantitative study of the needling techniques, the authors believe that modern scientific technology plays an important role in the quantitative study of the needling techniques, submit the research methods and channels of the quantitative study of the needling techniques under the current condition, foresee its development prospects and emphasize the significance of the quantitative study of the needling technique in the teaching, clinical service and research process of acupuncture.

By the needle-warming moxibustion, 43 cases of diabetic vesical pathological changes,together with 43 cases in the control group, were treated for 30 days, to observe the times of urination,volume of urine and residual urine inside the bladder before and after treatment every day. It has been indicated in observation that needle-warming acupuncture therapy can decrease the time of urination every day, elevate the urine volume each time and decrease the residual urine in the bladder, with a significant difference (P＞0.05) in comparison with before the treatment.

Better therapeutic effects have been achieved in the treatment of 112 simple obesity cases,mainly with acupuncture therapy plus auxiliary treatment of acupuncture weight loss apparatus. The results showed that the effective rate was 85% in 112 cases by one course of the treatments, 92% in 84 cases by two courses of the treatments, and 98% in 43 cases by three courses of the treatments. The therapeutic effect in combination with acupuncture apparatus was better in long courses of the treatment than in the short courses of the treatments, in male than in female, in young age than in old age, in mild case than in severe condition, in short duration than in long duration, in excessive pattern than in deficient pattern, in those without complications than in those with complications, and in those without family history than in those with family history, indicating that early treatment and prolonged treatment can enhance the therapeutic effects in weight loss by acupuncture.

Objective To evaluate the guiding effect of CT software to reduce the postoperative syndrome and surgery risk in patients with sinus disease performed the functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). Methods Fifty patients of accessory sinus disease were scanned by spinal CT, and then three dimensions reconstruction made in workstation. Under center of ethmoid sinus ,the five groups of anatomy data measured were obtained , used to guide surgery and contrasted with result of no used to guide surgery in 68 patients in FESS. The data were performed the statistical management and compared with results of FESS. Results Under guided by five groups of anatomy data measured ,the postoperative syndrome was reduced by 16.0 percent; the curative effect went up by 15.0 percent; the pay for hospital was reduced 31.0 percent and the recurrence rate was reduced 8.6 percent. Conclusion Used the technic in FESS, the surgery risk, the recurrence rate and pay for hospital are reduced, but the curative effect go up. The technic is much adapt to be used in village and towns hospital where there aren′t navigation equipment.

Purpose: To observe therapeutic effect of acupuncture plus Methadone on improvement of heroin withdrawal syndrome. Methods: Sixty cases of heroin dependence patients were divided into the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given acupuncture plus Methadone, and the control group was treated with Methadone.Results: The score of the withdrawal symptoms was lower in the treatment group than in the control group (P ＜ 0.05). The improvement of withdrawal symptoms was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group (P＜ 0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus Methadone can significantly improve heroin withdrawal syndrome.
