Trauma is one of the main reasons for the death and disability in children.Ultrasonic tech-nology has been applied in the early assessment and diagnosis of trauma.it is quick,effective,non-invasive, fast imaging,mobile and suitable for different patients and different parts of the body.It has been used to as-sess the organs in patients with severe trauma widely.

Objective To investigate effects of driving fatigue on working memory. Methods The control group included 12 taxi drivers after adequate rest while the fatigue group included 27 taxi drivers who had been driving for 10h. Digit memory span, words span, Digit Subtraction Test, Random Number Generation test were used. Results Compared with the control(6.60 ±0.40,90.67 ±6.65,158.27 ±29.12,0.30 ±0.06,24.29 ±10.59,35.90 ± 10.64 ), driving fatigue group were significantly( P ＜ 0.05 )different in the number of backward number memory span( 5.37 ± 0.72 ), percentage of number of right reaction of the number of total reaction of Digit Subtraction Test(79.95 ± 8.04), total number of RNG( 88.33 ± 19.48 ), RNG(0.40 ± 0.05 ), Coupon( 12.35 ±12.88), NSQ(49.72 ± 8.06). Conclusion Driving fatigue can decline the working memory.

Objective:To assess the value and indication of endoscopic intervention for acute severe pancreatitis(ASP).Methods:A series of consecutive patients with (26 cases) was treated mainly with endoscopic naso-biliary drainage(ENBD),sphincterotomy (EST) as well as drugs,Abdominal pain duration:raised serum amylase period surgical intervention rate mortality rate and average be in hospital number of days.Results:Abdominal pain duration was (2.5±1.5) days in treatment group with endoscopic and (5.1±2.4) days in control group respectively (P<0.05),raised serum amylase period was (2.8±1.3) days in treatment group with endoscopic and (4.8±1.8) days period in control group respectively(P<0.05),mortality rate was 3.85% (1/26) in treatment group with endoscopic while 16.67% (5/30),P<0.05,average be in hospital number of days was (17.2±5.2) days in treatment group with endoscopic and (26.2±18.2) days in control group respectively.Conclusion:ENBD+EST the intraductal pressure can be lowered and the cause of occlusion be relieved with therapeutic effect.It is considered that endoscopic intervention is a practic of choice for selected.

Morinda citrifolia L.(noni) has been used as a folk remedy for thousands of years and reported to have a broad range of therapeutic effects.Recent studies of noni have indentified some of its useful pharmacologic compounds and indicated its anti-cancer and anti-oxidation mechanisms.The recent advances in noni researches are reviewed.

Objective: To establish the determination method of total isofraxidin in Ciwujia Tablets. Methods: In this method phenomenex C 18 column was used, acetonitrile -0.05mol?L -1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution (15∶85) was used as a mobile phase. The detection wavelength was at 344nm.Results: The recovery of the added sample was 102.8% and RSD was 2.2%. Conclusion: This method is simple and the result is reliable.

Objective To review the results of operative treatment of the distal radius fractures. Methods The group of 12 cases were classified accorded to universal classification. There was 1 case of type Ⅲ, 3 cases type ⅣA,2 cases type ⅣB, 5 cases type ⅣC and 1 case type ⅣD. Five of them were checked preoperatively by spiral CT and three dimensional evaluation. They were given respectively treatment by external fixation, by volar or dorsal buttress plate, with or without percutaneous K wires. Results The average period of follow up was 12 months. 9 cases were excellent and 2 cases were good. The excellent and good rate was 91.7%. Conclusions Operative interventions for intra articular fractures of distal aspect of the radius should be considered when non operation management failed. The spiral CT and three dimensional evaluation can reveal enough information about the fracture preoperatively. The proper operative method should be chosen according to the fracture type.

Objective To appraise the efficacy,survival rate and toxicity of GEM+NVB regimen in retreatment of 24 Advanced NSCLC treated by TAX+DDP regimen.Methods 24 patients with Advanced NSCLC received chemotherapy of GEM+NVB regimen.We evaluate the efficacy,survival rate and toxicity after two periods.Results Among these 24 patients,there was no complete response.Rates of partial response is 29.2 %,the average survival period is 28 weeks.One year survival rate is 34.3 %.Conclusions GEM+NVB regimen is effective as second-line chemotherapy for the Advanced NSCLC patients that have ever been treaded by TAX+DDP regimen.

ObjectiveTo investigate the applying value of nerve root retractor in lumbar intervertebral disc operation.Methods116 consecutive patients underwent lumbar discectomy performed with a new approach using a series of semi-tubular retractor with consecutively increasing diameters, and their clinical data was analyzed retrospectively.ResultsThe mean operative time was 30～90 min per level, average 50 minutes and estimated blood loss was 50～200 ml per level, average 120 ml, no complications occurred. All patients were followed up 3 to 18 months after operation. All patients had substantial relief of their lumbago and radiculopathy, in which 96 without any symptoms, 3 cases with gently lumbago and limb numbness, 8 cases with gently lumbago, and 9 cases with lightly limb numbness.ConclusionThe nerve root retractor for lumbar discectomy made specially by ourselves can facilitate a good exposure to lumbar disc and intervertebral space, prevent injury of nerve roots or cauda equina and decrease volume of bleeding during operation, so as to make the procedure safe and effective.

Objective To explore the association of post stroke depression (PSD) with the scale of stroke deficit and serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in the elderly.Methods A total of 150 elderly stroke patients from the department of neurology of our hospital were recruited from August 2010 to September 2013.Patients were assessed by the Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD),the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),and the Activitics of Daily Living Scale (ADL).In addition,serum BDNF levels were determined by ELISA.Results 42.0％ of the 150 elderly patients suffered depression after stroke (63/150).There were significant differences in neurological function impairment and ADL scores between the PSD group and the non-PSD group [(14.72±4.06) vs.(5.51±1.93) and (40.63±17.06) vs.(79.66±29.31),t=18.49 and 9.47,respectively,P＜0.0001 for both].HAMD and NIHSS scores showed positive correlations with the degreeof depression (r=0.998 and 0.962,P=0.0012 and 0.0375,respectively).ADL scores and serum BDNF levels decreased as the degree of depression increased,and were negatively correlated with the degree of depression (r=-0.985 and-0.995,P=0.0149 and 0.0049,respectively).Conclusions The degree of post-stoke depression is positively correlated with the scale of neurological dysfunction and negatively correlated with the activities of daily living scale and serum BDNF levels in the elderly.The primary disease should be properly treated,and improvement in brain metabolism and micro circulation should be attempted to alleviate neurological dysfunction.In addition,rehabilitation therapy should be performed early in elderly stroke patients in order to improve physical activity and self-care ability,thus reducing the degree of disability and depression.

Objective To establish and apply the multiple probe RT-PCR analysis for H5N1 pathogen detection methods. Methods Used the gene sequences published in GenBank,which were designed and synthesized two pairs of specific primers (P1/P2,P3/P4)accorded the conserved regions.Through the optimization of amplification conditions to establish the rapid detection of two viruses duplex PCR method.Results The suitable primer concentration:P1/P2 was 0.32μmol/L,P3/P4 was 0.96μmol/L.The amount of the minimum virus nucleic acid was 2 ng/μl by the double detect,H5N1 pathogen mixed were occurred specific bands in the corresponding location,and other viruses and blank control strips had not bands.Conclu-sion A variety of probes for RT-PCR analysis H5N1 pathogen detection methods in a reasonable application of primer con-centration under has good sensitivity and specificity,and it is worth the inspection application.
