Chinese Journal of School Health 2026;47(1):27-31
Objective:
To investigate the factors influencing the co-prevalence of allergic rhinitis and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Inner Mongolia, so as to provide a data foundation and theoretical basis for developing targeted intervention measures.
Methods:
In September and October 2024, a stratified cluster random sampling method was employed to select 139 102 students from 539 schools across 12 leagues/cities and 103 banners/counties in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Participants who were diagnosed with allergic rhinitis by a doctor at least once within one year and had a body mass index ≥ 28 kg/m 2 were considered to have comorbid conditions.
Results:
The coprevalence rate of allergic rhinitis and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Inner Mongolia was 6.4% (8 931 cases). Lasso-Logistic regression revealed that nonboarding status, higher maternal education, consuming high protein foods ≥1 time daily, occasionally or never eating breakfast, engaging in moderate to vigorous physical activity for ≥60 minutes on fewer than half of holidays, and having been exposed to second hand smoke in person within the past seven days were associated with higher odds ratios for co-prevalence of allergic rhinitis and obesity( OR = 1.23 , 1.22-1.63, 1.20, 1.19, 1.38, 1.35); being female, higher grade level, residence in flag/county/district areas, non only child status, never having consumed a full glass of alcohol, non hypertensive status, and households without pets were associated with lower co-prevalence risks ( OR =0.65, 0.67-0.77, 0.81, 0.87, 0.73, 0.41, 0.68) (all P <0.05). The ROC curve indicated an area under the curve of 0.64 for the predictive model, demonstrating satisfactory discriminatory ability. The calibration curve showed consistency between predicted and actual occurrence probabilities.
Conclusions
The co-prevalence of allergic rhinitis and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Inner Mongolia is closely associated with demographic characteristics, dietary behaviours, and lifestyle habits. Future prevention and control strategies should prioritize these factors to implement targeted interventions.

OBJECTIVE To systematically evaluate the efficacy of dydrogesterone combined with estradiol valerate for the prevention of intrauterine adhesion (IUA) and prognosis improvement after induced abortion. METHODS Retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, CBM, PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library, randomized controlled trial (RCT) about conventional treatment combined with dydrogesterone and estradiol valerate (trial group) versus conventional treatment (control group) for the prevention of IUA in patients after induced abortion were collected from the inception to Dec. 2024. After screening the literature, extracting data and evaluating the quality of literature, meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software. RESULTS A total of 12 RCTs were included, involving 1 109 patients. Meta-analysis showed that the postoperative incidence of IUA [RR=0.30, 95%CI (0.22, 0.41), P<0.000 01], postoperative vaginal bleeding time [MD=-1.69, 95%CI (-2.05, -1.32), P<0.000 01], postoperative vaginal bleeding volume [MD=-10.78, 95%CI (-12.19, -9.37), P<0.000 01], postoperative menstrual resumption time [MD=-6.99, 95%CI (-8.27, -5.71), P<0.000 01], and the incidence of postoperative reduced menstrual flow [RR=0.25, 95%CI (0.12, 0.56), P=0.000 7] were significantly lower, less or shorter than control group; postoperative endometrial thickness [MD= 1.90, 95%CI (1.68, 2.13), P<0.000 01] and the rate of postoperative re-pregnancy [RR=6.26, 95%CI (1.88, 20.83), P=0.003] were significantly higher than control group. CONCLUSIONS Dydrogesterone combined with estradiol valerate may reduce the incidence of IUA after induced abortion patients, decrease postoperative vaginal bleeding volume, shorten postoperative vaginal bleeding time and postoperative menstrual resumption time, and increase postoperative endometrial thickness.

Journal of International Oncology 2023;50(12):711-716
Objective:To investigate risk factors of arrhythmia in elderly patients with early lung cancer after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection to construct a prediction model. Methods:Two hundreds and twenty elderly patients with early lung cancer after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection were retrospectively chosen in the period from January 2017 to January 2023 in Guang'an People's Hospital of Sichuan Province. The occurrence of arrhythmia was calculated, and the clinical data of patients with arrhythmia and those without arrhythmia were compared. Logistic regression was employeed to analyze the independent influencing factors of arrhythmia in elderly patients with early lung cancer after thoracoscopic pneumonectomy. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of regression model on arrhythmia after thoracoscopic pneumonectomy in elderly patients with early lung cancer.Results:Forty-one of 220 (18.64%) elderly patients with early lung cancer treated by thoracoscopic pneumonectomy had arrhythmia. There were statistically significant differences between patients with arrhythmia and patients without arrhythmia in age ( χ2=17.76, P<0.001), combined with essential hypertension ( χ2=21.06, P<0.001), forced expiratory volume in one second as a percentage of predicted value (FEV 1%) ( χ2=17.88, P<0.001), left atrium anterior-and-posterior diameter ( χ2=37.82, P<0.001), operation type ( χ2=27.09, P<0.001) and postoperative constipation ( χ2=18.25, P<0.001). The results of multivariate analysis showed that age>75 years old ( OR=22.17, 95% CI: 3.78-130.11, P=0.001), combined with essential hypertension ( OR=26.55, 95% CI: 3.99-176.95, P=0.001), FEV 1%≤70% ( OR=6.20, 95% CI: 1.37-28.11, P=0.018), left atrium anterior-and-posterior diameter>40 mm ( OR=10.84, 95% CI: 2.24-52.45, P=0.003), thoracoscopic lobectomy ( OR=7.07, 95% CI: 1.62-30.80, P=0.009), and postoperative constipation ( OR=79.97, 95% CI: 11.87-538.83, P<0.001) were all independent risk factors for arrhythmia after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection in elderly patients with early lung cancer. A prediction model was established for statistically significant indicators in multivariate analysis, ln ( P/1- P) =-7.89+3.10×age+3.28×combined with essential hypertension+1.82×FEV 1%+2.38×left atrium anterior-and-posterior diameter+1.96×operation type+4.38×postoperative constipation ( P was the prediction probability of P value in regression model). ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) of predict arrhythmia after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection in elderly patients with early lung cancer were 0.64, 0.71, 0.68, 0.74, 0.76, 0.87 and 0.98, respectively. The Yoden index was 27.29%, 42.28%, 34.92%, 47.42%, 73.63%, 50.97% and 91.97%, respectively. Conclusion:Age>75 years old, combined with essential hypertension, FEV 1%≤70%, left atrium anterior-and-posterior diameter>40 mm, thoracoscopic lobectomy and postoperative constipation are all independent risk factors for arrhythmia after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection in elderly patients with early lung cancer. Nomogram model based on the above risk factors has high efficacy in predicting arrhythmia occurance after thoracoscopic pulmonary resection.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2022;30(12):871-877
Objective:
To investigate the effect of a metal occlusal surface and stress interruption design on minimally invasive prosthodontics for patients with distal extension absence and insufficient occlusal gingival distance.
Methods :
We retrospectively studied the case of minimally invasive prosthodontic (Vitallium 2000) combined with a metal occlusal surface for distal extension absence in a patient with insufficient occlusal gingival distance; the stress breaking design and pressure impression technology are examined, and relevant articles are reviewd.
Results:
The design effectively solves the problems of insufficient occlusal gingival distance, large occlusal force and easy denture fracture. Reviewing the relevant literature, stress interruption design can effectively protect abutment teeth, but the behavior of stress interruption design and stress conduction phenomena in the mouths of patients has not been reported. The T-scan test results of this study showed that before and after wearing the denture, the occlusal force distribution ratio of the patient changed from 77.5% on the left and 22.5% on the right to 61.3% on the left and 38.7% on the right. The occlusal force distribution ratio of the right dentition to the total occlusal force increased by 16.2%, and the occlusal force became better distributed. Further analysis showed that the occlusal forces on the left and right sides were nearly the same in the initial occlusion stage. As the occlusal force was further increased, the proportion of the occlusal force on the right side decreased in the middle of the occlusion stage and further decreased in the final occlusion stage until it reached a dynamic balance. The above T-scan test and literature review results suggest that this dynamic balance phenomenon of bite force is related to the stress interruption design and the stress conduction effect of the split framework.
Conclusion
The composite of stress interruption design and metal occlusal surface allows for minimally invasive prosthodontics for the treatment of distal extension absence in patients with insufficient occlusal gingival distance.

Objective:
To understand prevalence and influencing factors of abnormal spinal curvature in primary and secondary school students aged 10-14 years in Inner Mongolia, and to provide reference for relevant measures.
Methods:
A total of 92 094 primary and secondary school students aged 10-14 years were selected by multi stage cluster sampling, and were investigated with questionnaire.
Results:
A total of 1 957 participants (2.13%) with abnormal spinal curvature were detected, including 1 768( 90.34 %) with scoliosis. Significant differences in the detection rate of abnormal spinal curvature were observed among students with different myopia status and posture of sitting and standing ( χ 2=23.82, 9.84, P <0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that different ethnic groups, monitoring points, age and area were main factors for risk of spinal curvature abnormalities in primary and secondary school students aged 10-14 years; good nutritional status, left right rotation of class seats, seat height adjustment according to height were associated with lower rate of spinal curvature abnormalities ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Various measures should be taken simultaneously to reduce the prevalence of abnormal spinal curvature in primary and middle school students aged 10-14 years.
